Vetinari, I have heard that a script is run manually to weed out those past 20 days inactive, it's just sad (for me) that it includes those who are 20 days inactive.

Today My 700+ day nation was deleted for being 20 days inactive. I thought I would be able to collect today on the 20th day that I was inactive, but this was not possible, as I was deleted. Yet here is an image of someone who was 21 days inactive, and they were then subsequently deleted. Why is there a distance between deletions like this? I thought I would be fine collecting at 20 days, as I have done it before, and people say that going beyond 20 days is when someone will be deleted. I have not recreated my nation yet, but I am doubting that it will be recovered. Unless this is possible, in which case pretty please do bring it back so that I may collect my taxes and aid my alliance!

It's sounds like it's a case of linebreak&return, which are two invisible characters which make your cursor go to the beginning of a new line, one by itself won't do much anymore (since text editors don't work that way now), so just delete everything after your final text as the game thinks your left over characters are signalling new lines.

It's possible if you send 2000 troops in aid out, get attacked to less than 2000 troops, then the aid gets accepted.

I was totally considering chilling with 0 soldiers for a while, there are no negative aspects, unless you get attacked, which is very unlikely when you have a lot of NS as most of the people around that score wouldn't attack an alliance. Besides, you can't raid someone with 0 troops.

As someone with a foreign airbase, I was regularly losing large amounts of planes in assisted bombing runs, incoming and outgoing and often not hitting my mark, even with 60 attacking planes, in one battle losing an epic 49 planes (wtf, also hi Guido and Alden!) The def bonus is superior, yet it doesn't often seem as powerful in offense. Chocolate planes: I'm sure some TPF guys would vouch for me on the poor quality of my aircraft. Seeing as DEFCON affects aircraft too in atk/def I'm sure this has a hand in some of my bigger aerial defeats.

Hah, HI GUIDO! Yeah my tanks have the same effect, and though you lost some of your attacking ground attacks, I think your size really granted you a colossal defence advantage. When I go aggressive and lose, all my tanks die too :<

Should attacking planes be effected by DEFCON? I mean, if I'm sending some planes over to bomb an area, escorted with a squadron of planes whose purpose is to protect the bombers and dogfight the enemy, why are they at a lower attack strength? What do you guys think about it?

He's using underdog tactics that people on both sides of war use. Your side has little reason to use it this war, as you outnumber us something like 10 to 1.

Working fine for me now, but before I couldn't even get on the forum to report the problem. the game itself was working fine for me, it was just the forums.
