I have doubts that TOP was being forced to accept tech.

Yeah, I gotta say I'm with this. I fail to see the evil in allowing individual Echelon nations to surrender after those who supposedly represent them decided they found their tech more valuable than their membership.

TOP and TSO could learn a real good lesson from this: What's interesting is that sentence didn't get its own thread. It was actually part of the whole of IRON's peace terms!

Over two years ago, I worked in the VE Ministry of Foreign Affairs as a Deputy for Antonio Salovega, VI, somebody who, in my opinion, is one of the best diplomats Planet Bob has ever seen. During that time, he finished work on the PEACE treaty, a multi-purpose treaty that he eventually placed into the public domain. In the spirit of his return, we in the CIS and our great friends in Halsa have agreed to sign a PEACE treaty. So it is with great pride that I announce this mutual defense pact via PEACE treaty between the Confederacy and Halsa!
