1. If you think I'm concerned with anything other than trying to repel RE and Synergy, you've vastly mistaken, I haven't even been on IRC for days and haven't spoken to representatives from any alliance other than OP since this conflict started.
 2. Christ, lol, you can't have it both ways... Its our fault now that we got attacked on the back of 9 days of nuclear war before we could rebuy infrastructure?
 3. They were plenty active, attacks came in from almost every nation every day until they were bill locked. They just lacked co-ordination, discipline & leadership.
 4.
Ok? Seeing from how you posted this, your only fooling yourself here. You've been back and forth through all of these threads whining and complaining all over the place. You obviously had plans for flag running otherwise you wouldn't be constantly threatening us that your going to keep us rolled for the rest of the round. I doubt that declaring on you after you just fought someone was really going to piss you off this much. I know how !@#$ works bro, we all think a like, you were going for flag running or high NS nations again to fill in your egos on how your the best in the game. Certainly sucks when people ruin your plans eh? Tis a shame
You guys seem to think we walked all over GR or something, As Schad said when GR attacked we hadn't decided what to do for the round, this is my first round back in charge of PS since we won the ASG flag, and GR caught us while we were trying to figure that out. It was a tough fight. We ate 17 nukes, many of us were going to re-roll or having to wait out several days in nuclear anarchy to get back on our feet, some of us spent every last dollar in the fight, and then before they could do anything had 3 fresh nations on their backs. We had very little left in the tank when the RE/Synergy attack came, so there was no chance of any flag run, if anyone ended that possibility it was GR, and we didn't get angry about them attacking us (threatening us, another story). So as for "I doubt that declaring on you after you just fought someone was really going to piss you off this much." I think you really underestimate how difficult it was for us to turn GR away, they had more nations, a 3 to 1 nuke advantage and we ate 17 of them, and you attacked us before a single war slot was peaced out, most our nations hadn't been able to collect taxes post war (there was no post war at that point) and many were down 10+ improvement slots. It was a huge ask of our guys to come out on top, and then after 9 days of nuclear warfare and 30 minutes of peace (I still have a GR nation attacking me to this day, btw) We get a 9 to 1 nuke advantage, and probably a much much larger cash advantage dumped on us.
 5.
We continued fighting because the response of GR's leader to our initial suggestion that they admit defeat was a statement that they'd spend the full sixty days fighting us.
The first threat came before any request of us for anything, and it came when there was no clear victor. On day 3 of the war SouthernC contacted us and asked us if we wanted to peace it out. Things were still quite even at that point (see war stats), no-one had any real advantage, PS had barely gotten on their backs after the blitz and hadn't gotten quadded nations out of anarchy. I saw no point in peacing things out that early before we had a chance to fight back. He responded stating that if we refused to peace out they will re-roll and attack for the entire round, heres the initial threat;
15:33 C0d3_Hack3r nah:D if we agree on a peace, i dont hold no grudge ,just all in good fun this round, 15:33 C0d3_Hack3r you guys look bored last round 15:33 Jack_Shepard I don;t think we are ready for peace yet... you guys poked a sleeping bear and we are just waking up. 15:34 C0d3_Hack3r what everman, then we keep rerolling fun all round lol
So we are supposed to agree to a hit and run war? You blitz someone, damage them, and then request peace before they can effectively retaliate, and threaten to continue to attack them for the rest of the round if they don't? The threat came up again in the second round of discussions, and by this time they had begun to re-roll nations into the new alliance. It was only after the initial threat was made that we requested for them to admit defeat if they wished to gain peace, so I say again, if you want someone to peace you out, maybe leave the threats at home.
 6.
Not that Pork Shrimp have acted with much more dignity, they claim to be an elite fighting force (which i concede that they are, the best probably) everyone knows this will be a deterrant, PS complains so much about not having any defensive wars, this round they finally got one, you think they'd be happy, but no, the only AA to declare on them in a while and they respond by holding them at war for longer than needed, an effecitive tactic, i don't think anyone will hit PS early in the round again anytime soon, of course some AA's don't like that an AA would hold another at war for simply being willing to fight a fair fight, when one decided to move against PS they sure were quick enough to declare victory over GR and even that they did with a complete lack of humility, great news PS, you and OP deserve each other and more importantly you both deserve to burn.
Perhaps us 'holding them at war' came from the fact that during peace talks they threatened to continue to re-roll nations and attack us for the entire round. On more than one occasion. And then they started re-rolling nations into a new alliance, assumedly for this purpose. So you have someone re-rolling nations away from the fight and threatening to continue to attack you with one breath, whilst asking for you to peace them out with another, its no huge leap to act cautiously and believe that their peace request is tied to their threat, and they only wish to get back on their feet to attack you again. If you are at war with someone and you want to peace out, maybe leave the threats out of the discussion. So perhaps the 'lack of humility' came from the above plus their defacto leader then backtracking and claiming that their alliance has no leadership, organisation, or ability to actually do anything, which, had they informed us prior instead of throwing about apparent empty threats, maybe would have saved everyone a hell of a lot of time, and their alliance a hell of a lot of damage.
 7. Hell Patrol, seems theres a bit of a shortage of honourable alliances in TE of late, so I'm very glad to see this. o/ Hell Patrol.
 8.
Actually, it should... This is TE... a war with consequences will just make people afraid of warring and we'll end up like a mini version of Standard Edition. Confusion.
Thats an opinion, yours, and this may come as a shock, but not everyone shares it.
 9.
It's implied, though. Why spit on a defeated opponent? It's kind of obvious ya'll had won - And they knew you would, in my opinion. Last I heard, they're facing some inactivity problems. Confusion.
I figure a guy who has lost as many offensive wars as you would be a believer that attacking someone and losing should have zero consequence.
 10.
Again, people not listening makes me laugh. Jack, not my fault you guys didn't stock up BEFORE the war, not during it. We had around 50 when you guys declared.
And apparently you can't read either. I clearly stated that had you attacked us 9 days ago with a 50-8 nuke advantage it would have been an even war.
 11.
I almost forgot Pork Shrimp... Anyways, Better late than never, right?... Pork Shrimp, You guys are also 'cowards', I mean seriously? First you deny Gay Rollers peace unless they post some crap about you guys being superior or w/e... Next time you give a timeline of events, post the whole story. Thanks. Confusion.
Oh I'm sorry, I forgot that all TE wars are lolwars where you have to stop right when one side begins to win right. An alliance 40% bigger than you, with a 3 to 1 nuke advantage blitzes you, then gets owned and wants to run home with its tail between its legs and you're supposed to give them what they want immediately, when they attacked you thinking you were an easy target. Well not Pork Shrimp, sorry, you attack Pork Shrimp and theres only 3 possible outcomes, you die, we die, or you admit defeat. In peace talks GR twice threatened to continue to reroll and attack us for the entire round, and twice they chose to fight on rather than admit they had been defeated. Once they backtracked and claimed they had no leadership capable of doing anything, we considered them dead, and we gave peace.
 12.
Proves my point. I don't think we originally was going to war PS, but decided after, so don't think we only declared because you just ended the war. ADude wanted to keep the target because he thought OP would be a good fight, but it seems all you guys are doing is crying, don't get me wrong. Besides, its our fault you guys didn't stock up. You only have like 10 left and even if you used like 20 in the war, you started with 30, while we had around 60 before the war.
We had 8 nukes at the start of the GR war, 10 at the end of it, its kind of hard to stock up on nukes during a nuclear war genius.
 13.
All these excuses... Keep them coming haha. You realize we planned to war on you guys the day before OP declared on GR? Guess you didn't and can only think of your cowardice in this war. Fight in-game instead of the forums? lmao.
Wait, so let me see if I got this. RE and Synergy were going to declare on PS and OP ~8-9 days ago in what would have been an even war then, but before they could, OP declared on TPC and GR declared on PS. So instead of finding a new target, RE/Synergy just sat around accumulating nukes and stocking up their warchests, while PS defended itself in nuclear war against an attack from a larger alliance. After 9 days of RE/Synergy stocking up, and 9 days of PS fighting to their last dollar, and literally minutes, minutes after the war ended, knowing full well that PS had no slots, you guys went through with your initial plan. 8-9 days ago, this would have been a good fight, but attacking an alliance that has no offensive slots to retaliate against you, is still fending off attacks from the previous war, and just ate 17 nukes, is just cowardice at its finest.
Bring it on jack.
Dude, I've been been fighting 5-6 wars at a time with the biggest nations GR had for the past 9 days straight, and you've been sitting around stocking up your cash and nukes, and then you blindside me, can't even anarchy me without an assist from a Gay Roller we are supposed to be at peace with, and you want to come in here and puff your chest out. You needed the playing field stacked that far in your favour to put a dent in me, and now you want to talk trash like you accomplished something. Pathetic.
 14. Its absolutely a new low. 15 rounds I've played TE and I have not seen an act as low as this. They attack an alliance that has been at war for 9 days, 9 days of defending against an alliance that attacked us with a 40% nation advantage and a 3 to 1 nuke advantage... 9 days of fighting, and in the past 8 days we took 17 nukes, and we have no offensive war slots, how is this anything but cowardly. And obviously now the alliance that attacked us 9 days ago is going to bandwagon off the declaration. 15 Rounds, and this is the single most pathetic move I've ever seen.
 15. Our offensive war slots are all filled with GR wars anyway, and they aren't going to peace those out now are they.
 16. Its absolutely pathetic. GR with their lack of leadership and communication probably hadn't even gotten wind that we were peacing out yet. In fact, not ONE single war between PS and GR had been peaced out yet. And then you jumped us. GR are not going to peace out now that you have attacked the people who were putting the beatdown on them, they are going to try and get their revenge, one of them just attacked me a few minutes ago, so that just adds to the cowardice... 160nations vs 89 118nukes vs 22 Honestly pathetic.
 17. You guys still think Anarchy is the end eh? And btw, a Gay Rollers nation, (an alliance we gave peace to), anarchied me while I was offline, not you. So I guess that war is still ongoing? so the combined numbers in this war are 160 vs 89.
 18. Pathetic. So this is an interesting precedent. An alliance of 58 with a 3 to 1 nuke advantage attacks an alliance of 40. They get turned away, and as a result two alliances tallying some 100+ nations attack an alliance with some 100 active wars already, with a combined 5 to 1 nuke advantage against their two targets, at a time when we grew frustrated in waiting for GR having no FA presence and instead just granted them peace.
 19. Pork Shrimp Announcement Several days ago, an alliance with 40% more members and a 3 to 1 nuke advantage declared war on Pork Shrimp. They picked a good time, PS was a hibernating bear that had grown complacent and somewhat distracted by the shiny new toys. They did however, wake the sleeping bear. On three separate occasions in the days following the Gay Rollers attack on Pork Shrimp, there were peace talks between Jack Shepard of PS and C0d3_Hacker of GR. During the first two discussions, C0de_Hacker chose to fight on rather than acknowledge they had been defeated, an outcome that PS was content with. During the third discussion C0de_Hacker, despite the presence of This suddenly backtracked claiming that GR had no actual government or leadership and he wasn't authorised to do anything. Despite twice prior representing the alliance in peace talks. Given that there is apparently no-one left steering the ship at GR to discuss the conflict with, and that GR nations have begun re-rolling into another alliance, Pork Shrimp declares victory in the war against the Gay Rollers. GR nations who wish to end the war, please send peace offers to PS nations and they will be accepted. For those GR nations who would have liked to peace out several days ago, please take this up with your leadership, if you can actually find any, we weren't aware that the 'Roll' in GR was for 'Roll Over'. Jack Shepard, Leader of Pork Shrimp.
 20. Wow, Im shocked that you can pick your resources... Bring on 800 Fish/Wheat nations Thanks for the clarifications admin
 21. Right yeah, my post was trying to be overly simplistic I guess but I agree it wasn't clear... Factories/wonders and also changes to government choice, trades and resources could mean it wasnt 50% of what you purchased first time around, but 50% of what it would have cost you first time round with your current nation setup.
 22.
Will the forumlas for determing unit Infra and Land cost change (ie: thresholds for which you move to the next cost level)? Also, will the threshold levels for Infra Maintenance costs change or remain the same (ie: 499.99, 999.99, etc.)?
If admin hasn't stated they are changing my guess is they aren't
Is the change available once every 7th game day or 7 days from the last change? Also, can one make the initial change immediately after creation only once, or can they do it multiple times? In other words, does the initial change after creation count as a "once every 7 days" change?
My guess is 7 days from the last change, and you likely can only make the initial change once, which would then set your counter and mean 7 days till your next change... Changing to another set of random resources is the only thing that makes sense also, theres no reason imo you should be able to pick your resources.
Could you explain this in more detail? Does this mean that if my all time high infra level (peak) was 2,000 infra and for what ever reason, it fell to 1,900, the cost of a unit of infra would drop to the equivalent of what it was at 800 infra? Does that apply to all future purchases or just to the "lost" infra? Will this apply for the whole round if one keeps losing and rebuying to a new (or the same) Peak Level?
Its less 100, so i believe if you fell to 1900 your cost wouldnt decrease at all. If you dropped to 1800, the cost from 1800 back to 1900 would be half what it was the first time you bought it, once you went within 100 of your watermark, youre back to your previous cost to stop exploitation of the rebuild discount.
 23. After playing 14 of the 15 rounds so far if I could suggest something it would be to make the tech damage bonus relevant in TE. I know lots of other things in TE are ten times smaller/bigger, and I think a tech damage bonus of 0.1% instead of 0.01% is worth a shot. Basically so that 500tech in TE does as much damage as 5000 in SE. In TE, most nations only ever get a few hundred tech, and 500 is pretty much the most you ever see, and the tech damage just makes zero difference and the WRC is a waste of money. You could say the same for Navy I guess, in TE it's basically been reduced to a NS booster for flag chasers... Increasing the battle damage they do in support mode would make them more useful. Anyway, those are my thoughts, thankyou for any changes you make admin, it will certainly spice things up, I'll be giving any new changes you make a shot in practice, and not !@#$%*ing before they are even in place/completed :eyeroll:
 24. Theres little doubt that UBD had a few solid nations in peace mode and that it would have helped to stem some of the 5:1 losses they were incurring. Theres also little doubt that BN knew about them, and was prepared and waiting for those nations to come out.
 25.
... Last night before I logged out, I asked my members in the Directorate if they would accept peace with conditions. I received an outstanding no response and thus my mandate as an Executive Director was clear. No peace with conditions until our military was spent...
We meant to ask about that... The image that you sent to Cheezy to show the 'vote': Just how exactly did you get 11 votes onto that puppy when the topic only has 8 views?
