Not that we understand what this "EZI" thing you speak of is; but it must be important, and our Fearless Leader doesn't want to think about it very hard. The ridiculous idea of people coming back from the dead creeps me the heck out, man. Not cool.

    People are so precious about their zeroes and ones, no one wants to take a chance, and so we all sit and look for intrigue or something to snipe about. Meh.

    Is it that people are concerned about the precious zeroes and ones, or is it that the winners are being more and more of a bunch of vindictive jerks after the wars are over?

    I have an idea, after the next war (be it a curbstomp or something more even), let the loser off. You'll see more wars, and that seems to be what people want.

    So you lasted for a month cause you picked 3 semi-inactive sdi'less noobs. After selling 33% of your infra.

    Being outta range for the more active knowledgeable fighters isnt classy.

    Maybe NPO can ask FAN or VOX to help them out next, they know everything about good fighters below 15k ns

    Perhaps. Maybe I'm being a bit harsh.

    Still, the reason for war in this one seems like a pretty good one to me. And I'm basically a pacifist--pacifist who hates scam artists. And how many "spying is bad, mmkay" type posts would we see if one of the big guys did the same thing?

    If it were a large alliance that made this announcement and declared this war, people would be falling over themselves to talk about what a noble cause it is. Nobody would even ask them for further justification.

    Doesn't it make more sense to just kick the people out of your alliance after finding out what they had intended to do instead of going to war over things that had yet to happen? Oh no, they were going to trick you out of money and then leave. So what? What if you had 10 people join your alliance, you give them start-up aid, they decide the alliance wasn't what they wanted and left? You going to go after them because they took your money? You would have been better off saying you were going to war because you could instead of trying to pass this tripe as a reasonable CB.

    I don't know. I've seen many aid scammers met with anger and force. Most of the time, they're small, individual (noob) nations and not an "organized" group like this. They just get attacked in a glorified tech raid, and everyone feels better.

    I understand what people are saying in that it's the principle of the matter. The CB here is about 99% more reasonable than most we see, assuming the intel is correct. It's a pretty bad breach of trust.

    I have seen a policy of military aggression, not to achieve victory, but to terrorize low level nations. Vox Populi is not your normal alliance attempting to utilize war to advance normal self interests (safety, security, growth, loot, etc). Their political moves have not advanced them towards peace and the ability to grow and achieve their potential. Some men just like to see the world burn.

    You know, only group has ever threatened to destroy my civilization. (Hint: it wasn't Vox.) I was no threat to this group's safety or security: I didn't provide them with loot. They probably didn't even know who I was until they saw my nation on their target list. I have never hindered anyone's progress to peace or ability to grow. I have only been kind towards anyone who has approached me here. Perhaps this group just wanted to see the world burn? Maybe they wanted to make an example of my old alliance? Sounds like terrorism to me.

    Now the point of this is not to complain or whine about it (OOC: them's the breaks in the game), but I wonder if you can step back and see things from a different point of view. I'm no supporter of Vox, but I think that slapping the "terrorist" label on them weakens the argument against them. I tend to be wary any time someone speaks of the world in terms of black and white.
