Younas Makanin submits resignation and successor recommendation to Neo Japanese Imperial Governor, Ishiopian officials.
Younas Makanin has submitted his resignation as Sovereign to the Neo Japanese, Ishiopian officials - who must accept or deny. In a rare request, he gave Neo Japan, Ishiopia the recommendation for the next Sovereign. The recommendation for the next Sovereign of Omnitretus is the following: Fakir al-Zahir (UFM Vice Chairman, 54 years old, former Prime Minister, supports current occupation and lost left eye during JPDC coup'de'tat). Ishiopian, Neo Japanese officials must approve the resignation of Sovereign Younas Makanin and the recommendation of Fakir al-Zahir for Sovereign.
"I feel it is that time Omnitretus moves on, looking towards the bright future with someone who can better cooperate with the occupation forces and back on the track to having a solid and strong government," commented Makanin, who went on to say "Fakir al-Zahir, if approved, will be a great Sovereign -- he is the future of this nation."
For the record, Fakir al-Zahir is political moderate and has worked with both sides of the aisle to get things done. He opposes independence from the Russian Empire, which has earned him much scrutiny.
Younas Makanin announced he would stand trial in the capital of the Russian Empire for the allegations against him.
One political pundit referred to it as "Younas Makanin is GIVING them a puppet Sovereign AND putting pressure on them to leave sooner, rather than later."

It matter not who is guilty. You said that you were preparing to deploy a military. All soldiers not in POW camps were discharged prior to the terms of the occupation. You have violated those terms by stating that you have a military. I suggest that you sit this out and try to come to an accomadation with teh Neo Japanese military if you and your ex-government intend to survive for much longer.
The Itassis Royal Guard is my personal bodyguard force of 150, its a security force to ensure the safety of the Sovereign, his close advisors and aides, the Omnitretus Troika and foreign diplomats. I wouldn't trust Neo Japanese or Ishiopian peacekeepers with protecting myself, my aides or the other various de facto government officials. The only accomadation I can truly give is my resignation and a successor to my throne, since clearly there is bad blood between myself and the Neo Japanese, Ishiopian officials. Would that be an acceptable accomadation for all parties involved? My sucessor would be from the UFM and someone who supports the current occupation.

Omnitretus has no legal government; it forfeited its (the govts) right to exist when it announced that it had a military and chemical, biological and nuclear weapons programs. It is an Imperial Governorship of the Neo Japanese Empire until such a time as its rightful ruler, the Russian Empire, deigns to take control of it. Therefore, any election result is no longer valid, as I assume the Neo Japanese have taken over all government buildings, and that the election has been canceled.
The Government of Omnitetus has no previous knowledge of the weapons development going on while Benjamin Kanno was in-charge. The Sovereign at that time, Runa Fianna, didn't know Benjamin Kanno and the JPDC were making these weapons. After the failed coup'de'tat, Michael Itoshiki had discovered and oversaw the dismantlement and destruction of these nuclear, biological and chemical weapons. If anyone should be hung for these crimes, it should be Benjamin Kanno. It is the belief of the Omnitretus Sovereignty that Kanno, without authorization, had his own malicious agenda and acted on his own with the resources and manpower of Omnitretus at his disposal.

Younas Makanin - Afternoon Press Briefing
In a rare afternoon press conference, surrounded by UFM leader Runa Fianna and FTSP leader Ryan Makanin, The Sovereign announced Rebecca Sforza's indictment, for vehicular manslaughter and perjury. Makanin said Sforza has submitted her resignation to Younas Makanin, who accepted. She has also dropped out of the Troika election, leaving Mariska Aker to win the seat. She turned herself in to Russian Empire authorities to face trial in Moscow.
Younas Makanin went on to say that Seymour Fianna, the Itassis Royal Guard Secretary-General, has resigned. He also said his Personal Secretary, Chandler Gerbera - would resign as well. Younas Makanin went on to say that the Fianna-Makanin Ultimatum was "a desperate act" on UFM and FTSP's part and said it "ignorant" action. Younas Makanin then went on to announce that he would be resigning after the June 15 results.
He told the media that he is looking at several UFM members for a successor. He ruled out Runa Fianna saying "she had her chance and failed", but didn't rule out Fakir al-Zahir - a former Prime Minister, who is considered a political moderate - similar to Younas Makanin. Fakir al-Zahir lost his left eye during the JPDC attack on Palayce Royle. He is 54 years old.

The Fianna-Makanin Ultimatum
United Fianna Movement and For The Sovereign Party have put forward the following ultimatum:
- Complete Omnitretus Government reinstatement.
- Limited Omnitretus military reinstatement. Atleast 50% reinstated. Complete reinstatement by June 15, 2008.
- Withdrawal of atleast 50% of Neo Japan, Ishiopian peacekeepers. Complete withdrawal by June 15, 2008.
- Imperial Governor will advise the UFM on what course of action to take. He will not be in total control. He will remain as an advisor until June 15, 2007.
- Neo Japan and Ishiopia will recognize Omnitretus as an independent nation. Runa Fianna and Younas Makanin are currently working on a Constitution. Effective June 15, 2008.
- Benjamin Kanno and Gali Henne will face the Omnitretus Military Tribunal and will pay for crimes. Effective June 15, 2008.
- Ban JPDC and its 0.8% support from elections for the next 24 months or 8 terms. Effective June 15, 2008.
- Ban on nuclear, biological and chemical weapons, to ensure the people's safety. Effective June 15, 2008.

A. Valkrens: Good Evening, Omnitretus. Tonight we'll be interviewing the Troika District 2 candidates Rebecca Sforza and Mariska Aker. First, we go to Jack Azarta with the headlines. Jack?
J. Azarta: Hello Andrew and Good Evening, Omnitretus.
J. Azarta: Sovereign Younas Makanin condemns Neo Japan's sudden disbandment of the Omnitretus government. He claims "we had an intelligence breakdown that resulted in mass casualties. I have asked the intelligence department of the Itassis Royal Guard to investigate the head of the Omnitretus general intelligence, who is FTSP member and fomrer JPDC spokesperson. That person has been arrested and will be deported to the mainland. We regret any all deaths caused by these JPDC remainants.
J. Azarta: Runa Fianna said today that she will dedicate her campaign to Michael Itoshiki, saying "his legacy will guarantee a safer future for Omnitretus." She later denounced Neo Japan's disbandment of the government, calling it "a risky, unpopular move which could cause ripples in the UFM's plans to govern."
J. Azarta: FTSP Chairman Ryan Makanin condemned Neo Japan and has promised harsh consequences should his party win the election, which they expect to secure a good portion of votes to be viable.
J. Azarta: Rebecca Sforza commented "if Neo Japan is concerned about us, then take an advisory role -- not a commanding role in our development" and asked that they take such a role. The UFM, FTSP have officially condemned Neo Japan's actions.
J. Azarta: Back to you, Andrew.

R. Sforza: Not in the least, the people know quality when they see it.

M. Aker: Thanks Mr.Azarta.
J. Azarta: You have been running an effective "For The Children of Omnitretus" campaign. You are the strongest domestic candidate, right?
M. Aker: My resume speaks for itself, I would classify myself as the strongest public servant in this election. I have done so much good for our children, moreso than my opponent Rebecca Sforza, who killed a child while she was driving under the influence. How is she still not indicted, I don't know.
J. Azarta: It's worth noting the child she killed, was the son of JPDC Founder Benjamin Kanno. He was 4 when he was killed.
M. Aker: Do you really want a murderer of the innocent in a Troika seat? Thought so.
J. Azarta: Mrs.Aker, you rejected the FTSP endorsement, why?
M. Aker: Political parties are useless when the people leading them are liars, traitors and murderers. All politicans are corrupt. This is my first run for politics, otherwise, I have served in corrupt Government cabinets and corrupted Government schools. It's sad to think that corruption rules Omnitretus.
J. Azarta: Have you accepted any money from special interest groups?
M. Aker: Absolutely not. I only have $7,000 to spend for my campaign. Compared to Sforza and her UFM's $34,000. The odds aren't in my favor, but the people will make the right choice.
J. Azarta: Thank you for the time today.
M. Aker: Thanks for the oppurtunity. Hopefully the future of Omnitretus will be brighter.

Chairman Nenkras acknowledges Ishiopian contact, but decides its a fight to the death.
Raizen Nenkras, after receiving word from Ishiopian forces, gave the order to execute Michael Itoshiki. The execution was aired on Omnitretus live television, after supposed breachs of security at the News Network.
It showed 3 men, Nenkras, another man and Itoshiki sitting infront of a camera. Nenkras declared to the people "this is revenge for our leaders against the traitors." The other man, identified as Zahir Habib, proceeded to decapitate Michael Itoshiki, who was crying and begging for his life. 5 minutes later, Michael Itoshiki was dead -- his head slammed on the desk in front of the camera, as it zoomed it. "Now begins the cleansing!" exclaimed Nenkras. The camera turned towards the 39 hostages as each and everyone one of them is shot dead, execution style. The JPDC terrorists, approximately 110 of the 120, turn the guns on themselves and commit suicide, "IN THE NAME OF KANNO!"
Raizen Nenkras, Zahir Habib and 8 others were seen cutting off their own hands, proudly exclaiming "WE PLEDGE OUR BLOOD LOYALTY TO OUR BELOVED SOVEREIGN AND KANNO." At that point, the room had exploded and all are now presumed dead. Itassis Royal Guard and Ishiopian forces will confirm the explosion in the command center of the fortress and will look for the bodies of Nenkras, Habib and Itoshiki.
The government of Omnitretus has since remained silent.

JPDC members regroup, attack and takeover fortress Grenta II.
JPDC Chairman Raizen Nenkras and 120 others attacked the military fortress Grenta II today. They have taken 40 hostages, including the commanding officer, Michael Itoshiki, a traitor to the JPDC. Grenta II is known for bilogical, nuclear weapon development. Nenkras has said he'll use the biological, chemical warfare on Omnitretus population. They are demanding the release of their founder, Benjamin Kanno and subordinate, Gali Henne.
As a show of force, they have fired a barrage of missiles upon the Grenta I military fortress, completely destroying it. Current death tolls are around 200 dead, with 400 missing or injured. Grenta I is now considered officially destroyed. Nenkras has said he'll attack Grenta III, the last of the 3 fortresses, next. After that, he's promised to attack other high-ranking targets in the capital.
"This will be the JPDC's final stand," exclaimed Nenkras.
Younas Makanin, Seymour Fianna and Chandler Gerbera are meeting with the troika and Omnitretus military to discuss ways to end this standoff. "All options are on the table," commented Troika Member Chikaru Kawada.

R. Fianna: Thanks for having me.
A. Valkrens: We've recieved numerous questions regarding the coup'de'tat, who do you feel should be held accountable?
R. Fianna: Without a doubt Matthew Winner and Benjamin Kanno. I can't blame Gali Henne, she was just following orders.
A. Valkrens: I see. Next question comes from another viewer who asks "Why did you resign as Sovereign?"
R. Fianna: I resigned as Sovereign to better serve my people where it truly counts. Sovereign is just a figurehead position. The Troika makes all the governing decisions. I want to decide what's best for my people.
A. Valkrens: If elected, what is the UFM's agenda for the 3-month term?
R. Fianna: We are working on a Declaration of Independence from the Russian Empire, that will be the main focus of our 1st term in office.
A. Valkrens: And once that is completed?
R. Fianna: I plan military caps, like we can only have so many troops and so many tanks, you know like rationing of somesort. I'd like to open embassies for neighboring countries and military bases for those countries as well.
A. Valkrens: Are there any plans to abolish the Sovereignty during your term?
R. Fianna: I can't say for certain.
A. Valkrens: During your term as President a few weeks back, isn't it true you had an illegal love affair with your Foreign Minister, Fakir al-Zahir whilst still married to Daniel Fianna?
R. Fianna: I decline to answer that question.
A. Valkrens: Ben Kanno killed your husband, why didn't you take action then? Our reports indicate you didn't attend his funeral. Are you and Mr.Fakir al-Zahir still seeing each other?

J. Azarta: Omnitretus Election Commission says roughly 80% of those registered to the JPDC party have switched party affliation to the FTSP. FTSP now has 40% of all registered voters in Omnitretus, with JPDC still habing less than 3%. UFM remains at a solid 53% voter registration and 7% are independents/no party affiliation.
J. Azarta: Troika Frontrunner Runa Fianna told the Sovereign last evening that if given the oppurtunity, she would abolish the Sovereign position if he authorized another coup'de'tat. The Sovereign has not responded to these threats and maintains he'll work towards getting along with Fianna and her party, for "the best of Omnitretus".
J. Azarta: Independent Michael Itoshiki makes surprising endorsements - Runa Fianna, Mariska Aker and Chikaru Kawada. He claims "all 3 bring something to the table, they all worked to make our children's futures much brighter -- and because of these 3, Omnitretus' has gone from a 33% literacy rate to an 84% literacy rate. Mariska Aker and Chikaru Kawada have helped us immensely, we should repay them.
J. Azarta: Rebecca Sforza misspeaks and calls Ryan Makanin "Benjamin Kanno v2.0", which by our records and looking at his past history, he's no Ben Kanno -- she later apologized. Troika Candidate Vincent Kanno, who is Ben Kanno's older brother, said Sforza and the UFM are "playing dirty, smear politics on the FTSP."
J. Azarta: Back to you, Andrew!

V. Kanno: Yes, please do go on.
A. Valkrens: Who do you truly feel should be held responsible for the coup'de'tat?
S. Henne: Without a doubt, I'd blame Seymour Fianna - the current Itassis Royal Guard Secy-Gen.
A. Valkrens: Why him?
S. Henne: Before becoming the IRG Secy-Gen, he was in-charge of the intel division of the IRG -- he saw this coming, the chatter was there. He chose to ignore it. My mother, Gali Henne, was told to contact Seymour Fianna to not come into work that day.
A. Valkrens: That's interesting. You are saying Seymour Fianna, Runa Fianna's father, is the mastermind?
S. Henne: Probably.
A. Valkrens: How about you, Mr.Kanno?
V. Kanno: I feel its the Sovereign's fault. There are only 3 people in the Omnitretus society that can call a coup'de'tat -- Younas Makanin, Runa Fianna and Seymour Fianna. Take your pick, I'm going with Younas Makanin.
A. Valkrens: I see.
V. Kanno: My brother, Ben, met with Younas Makanin about 3 hours before the coup'de'tat. Not to mention, earlier that day Seymour Fianna had also met with Younas Makanin. Mind you, Younas Makanin wasn't the Sovereign during or before the coup'de'tat -- it was Runa Fianna. don't you find it strange 2 high-level military generals meet with a private citizen?
A. Valkrens: Very interesting.
A. Valkrens: What do you think of Runa Fianna?
V. Kanno: She gives off the sweet, trusting vibes but deep down, when you first meet her, you see a demonic presence about her.
S. Henne: My meeting with her, she seemed nice but she likes to demean people and her aids, no wonder nobody likes her.
A. Valkrens: A latest polls shows both of you losing to Runa Fianna because of the names you bare, what do you think?
S. Henne: Don't judge me by my name, judge me by my characteristics.
V. Kanno: A name is just a name, but what really counts if what kind of policies I can bring to this country.
A. Valkrens: If elected, what will you do in your first term?
S. Henne: I'll move to free my mother, Gali. Then restore all powers to the Sovereign. He's the only one capable of running the country.
V. Kanno: I'll do the exact opposite and force the current Sovereign out, let him take the fall for the coup'de'tat and then plead with the Russian Empire to allow my brother to go free in exchange. Punish the leader, not the minions. It would be a waste of time and tax dollars to do such on Ben Kanno.

The JPDC will have no power in the current government. They are a benign cancerous growth, but they were originally created to maintain order not disrupt it. Matthew Winner, Benjamin Kanno and his cronies twisted and defiled the party's name. I am hopeful, that in time, we all can forgive the party of JPDC and focus our anger, frustration and hate towards Benjamin Kanno and Gali Henne. I would support a 3-term(9 months) ban on all JPDC members from participating as candidates, but shall still be able to vote. All people have the right to vote, no matter the affiliation. They just won't be given the power to vote 1 of their own into office.
To clarify, the Sovereign is not voted in by the people. Under the recent Act III of the Sovereign Independence Act, which was passed 2-1 in the Troika. The people choose the Troika and the Troika chooses the Sovereign. Runa Fianna was the first to undergo this vote, she was passed with 3-0, including Mr.Kanno. I was chosen 3-0 as well. Under the Act II of the Sovereign Independence Act, the Sovereign has limited power - the Sovereign can only dismiss the Troika or dismiss his innercircle. Otherwise, he or she is a powerless figurehead -- but a beloved figurehead. If the people don't love that Sovereign, most of them time the Sovereign at that time will resign.
Also, as another note, I will be reinstating my former party, which was banned by Benjamin Kanno in the previous coup'de'tat against me and Runa Fianna -- the "For The Sovereign Party"(FTSP). I have asked my son, Ryan S. Makanin, to lead the party and to support my ideals. I am hopeful you can support this action as we prepare the democratic process we are gearing up for in July.

Runa Fianna announces resignation, effective immediately.
Sovereign Runa Fianna, with her predecessor Younas Makanin beside her, announced this evening that she will resign as Sovereign effective immediately. She told her inner-circle that she came to this decision after "it was clear that she wasn't the correct person to become Sovereign" and "she made a grave error by accepting the job."
Runa Fianna announced that Younas Makanin will become the Sovereign once more. He gladly accepted the job, effectively immediately. "Walking into the office, I had no idea what to expect -- I'm young and inexperienced, I think its best to hand it back to Younas Makanin," said Fianna. "I'm sorry I disappointed you, my beloved people," Fianna said lastly.
Younas Makanin has announced that Runa Fianna will replace him on the Goverment Troika Council. Fakir al-Zahir and Michael Itoshiki will likely be replaced by loyalists to Makanin.

BREAKING: Matthew Winner commits suicide.
Shortly after the release of the audiotape, Mr.Winner was seen running outside towards his car with his wife and kid. Luckily his wife, Rachel Winner, was able to escape with their 5-month old daughter after distracting him. They ran to the local police station to inform the authorities of her husband's guilt. As they were running out the gate, they heard a gunshot. Rachel, curious, invesitgated to find Matthew Winner dead, suicide it has been ruled.
Runa Fianna has appointed Chikaru Kawada (Independent) as the replacement for Matthew Winner (Independent). Chikaru Kawada is Michael Itoshiki's ex-girlfriend and a well-known architect and strategist of Runa Fianna's rise to power. She was named "Sexiest Woman of the Month for March 2008". Chikaru Kawada was Matthew Winner's chief of staff for 2 months, but resigned after his sexist and racists remarks about women. At age 25, she becomes the youngest member of the Troika.
Runa Fianna commented "We'll call elections on July 15, 2008 -- the people need to rest now, it's been a tough battle for us all."

My fellow citizens, it has come to my attention that there are now 2 vacancies on the Omnitretus Troika. As Sovereign, it is my responsibility to appoint 2 new members of my choosing. It comes with a delight that I can now announce the following 2 replacements and they are:

"It's clear who's going to run this government and that's Younas Makanin -- again," commented one pundit. Another one suggested that Makanin was getting "in the Sovereign's head". Several military generals who defected to Michael Itoshiki confirmed Matthew Winner, Younas' "lapdog", called all the shots in the coup'de'tat and released the following audiotape:
