  1. From The Sovereign's Desk:

The Sovereign applaudes the new coalition agreement between FTSP/UPI/TRU

Following negotiations, United Party of Independents (UPI) Leader Ryakarok Zahir chose to ally himself and his party with the current ruling party, For The Sovereign Party and not with the current frontrunner party, United Democratic Movement. Talks broke down between UDM Leader Kallen Bazaldar and UPI Leader Ryakarok Zahir. In an interview, Mr.Zahir said "You can't fix something that's not broken, our government isn't broken." UDM Leader Kallen Bazaldar refused to comment on Mr.Zahir's comments.

In another development, The Red Union (TRU) Leader Bernard Nader chose to ally himself and his party with the current ruling party, For The Sovereign Party(FTSP). It comes as no surprise to anyone, since TRU has been allied with FTSP for several leaders, under Bernard Nader's leadership.

Following both developments for his party, the incumbent Prime Minister Chandler Gerbera of the For The Sovereign Party(FTSP) celebrated it as a day of great victory for The Sovereign and his reign. Chandler Gerbera has been Prime Minister since February 1992. He is the longest serving Prime Minister in our nation's history. He has led the FTSP into 12 victorious elections.

Following the latest news from the political realm, the public opinion has changed drastically.

    United Democratic Movement - 49%

For The Sovereign Party - 32%

The United Party of Independents - 17%

    The Red Union - 2%

As public opinion stands, it's 51-49 in favor of Chandler Gerbera's Government.

    Long Live The Sovereign.

  2. The Sovereign will not interfere in the March 5 elections.

The Sovereign of Omnitretus, Maligore, says he will not postpone the March 5, 2008 parliamentary elections despite violence and the assassination of numerous MPs. Only 4 parties are participating in the elections, the United Democratic Movement(UDM), For The Sovereign Party(FTSP), The Red Union (TRU) and the United Party of Independents(UPI).

Kallen Bazaldar, Leader of the United Democratic Movement(UDM), has said she will continue to support the Sovereign under the condition that she be elected Prime Minister. The Sovereign has now accepted these terms. Latest polls indicate Ms.Bazaldar's party is most likely going to win the March 5 elections.

I will now give you the latest poll that was recently released by OTV, Omnitretus Television.

    United Democratic Movement - 45%

For The Sovereign Party - 32%

The United Party of Independents - 19%

    The Red Union - 5%

As you may not have known, 240 seats in the Parliament are up for grabs. A party must win 125 seats to have a operational majority. Kallen Bazaldar is currently looking at a possible coalition government with The United Party of Independents. The leader of UPI, Ryakarok Zahir, has declined to comment.

The Sovereign turns 71 years old this Thursday, he has been in power since 1968. This week is hereby a week of celebration, in his honor. Long live the Sovereign.
