The same reason you send out recruit mesages to new nations. You have no idea what or who they are, you just hope you can attract the diamond in the rough and see if they turn into a quality member. I can sit here and tell you i can do this or that and i can help with this or that, but in the end im just looking for an alliance that appeals to me, if i tell them what i am looking for they will just tell me what i want to hear to try and convince me to join alliance A B or C. I want them to make there alliance appealing without me telling them what i am lloking for to make an alliance apealing to me.

Right now everyone is on a level playing field i dont numericaly ranked alliances so soon ebcause i need to keep an open mind to who i want to join.

I have no idea what i am looking for, so im letting the people who actually care about recruiting try to sell them selves and the alliance. One alliance, Zenith, had four people query me and talk to me an hour or so about the alliance and my goals. Which was really helpful in choosing an alliance, because i really have no idea what i am looking for.

Yes 50k raids are hard to come by and ive raided enough in my time and i dot always focus on econ. If they makea good pitch im open If im such an attention whore why respond? Im sorry i have no idea about Athens all i know is there an alliance and where in the last war. To everyone im still considering...

I read it everytime i get the amsg in #TSI, i like them a lot even though i may not comment on them i do read them and i will continue to read them, because no matter how big or small your nation is its always good to read these and see what you can do better.

I agree with you VI. People blur the IC/OOC line so easily. Many people dont know the difference between IC and OOC apparently neither did Slayer. As i said before i play an emo person IC does that mean i am an emp person OOC? No, not at all quite the opposite in fact.

Everyone says they would leave if a reset was to happen. But others argue that the game wouldnt change because the old friendships would still be there. So i ask why would mass people leave when people have built friendships and trust with these people they play on a daily basis. Just because your nation may be smaller and you lost all that work, would you leave and for go the friendships you made? I doubt a mass exodus will happen because of the bonds devolped during the pre-reset era.

I personally have donated every month for almost a year and a half and wouldnt mind seeing a reset. Ive grown fast and passed many people in NS in a fast amount of time. It takes people almost a year to get nukes i got them in half a year of playing with my newest nation. I even did it on yellow spehre No im not a re-roll mad at the world and wants a reset to get even. To everyone who thinks the polotics wont change you are severally wrong, or i believe you are severally wrong. I really think you underestimate people disdain for the higher, more established, "evil" alliances. Alliances that are now in peace mode or forced to quit would be able to come back. And since no one would have any sort of tech infra advantage it would be down to who could get more people on there AA. And people are sympathetic to them and would flock to the AA if a reset were to acure but wouldnt do it now because of there pikels. A reset would mean the downfall of some alliances such as GRE or TOP because of there acceptance policies, unles they were willing to redo there whole acceptance policy they would not be able to catch up in numbers and they wont have any sort of tech infra advantage. Thus loosing there allure of being "untouchable" and nuke count. Alliances like GOONs who recruited from an forum not of CN orgin will rise quickly because they can gain many nations faster. Thus growing at a faster rate then those who would oppose them. On the flip side the alliances like either fark or fok [lol maybe im wrong on both alliances] that recruit from offsite non-cn forums would also grow in numbers. Thus making it a fun show to watch. You have the alliances beat down in wars past and present. They have a grudge no doubt, like \m/, /b/, NAAC, BLEU GATO FAN GOONs and others i dont even care about. I reset would make them on the same playing field again and people who sysmpathized with them would most likely join them because a reset would mean everythign is even and no one has the advantage and thinking they could top the alliances that killed it off. Many displaced memebrs of lost alliances or there because many of there friends from the past alliance are there. Its only a name and basically there is the same group of people under the AA You have the medium sized alliances who are invloved/arent involved in polotics. Where do they fall into play. The reset wont affect them that much as there probably the people who play for fun and dont really bother with getting into a big alliance because it doesnt matter to them. They would be the wildcards, what ever sides that emerge could grab them would get the early edge. Or theyre people that were attacked and wanted to leave the alliance that let them get attacked, and dont care about CN and might quit. Then there is an alliance like Vox who got a lot of support because they appealed to peoples anti-establishment views and or there wanting to bring out the "horrors" of what the "evil" allinces are doing have done or are planning on doing. I bet they would get a lot more support if there was a reset. People on top dont wont to lose there spot on top. People dont want to lose all there hard work, but CN is not like WoW where you can play a couple days straight and be on par with everyone else. Not many people dont want to play for over a year to get on the same level as the top nations. You say you would leave but also say the alliances have great comunities. If there so great why would you leave them? A lot of people may leave yes but it will change how polotics in the game are played and done. Alliances at the top will crumble and old or new alliances will take there place. A reset may come or it may not come, but when it does be preparred for a whole new era of CN to come with it. There may be a short growth period but after that initial stagnate period it will flourish again.
