I've found that I get the best collections at around 23.5% of my total population. I'm trying to pin it down now, but its kind of hard witht the global radiation level changing daily....

Why does my civilian population go down when I buy soldiers? I've been trying to figure this out for a while now and am stumped. I've done a brief three day experiment, buying 10 soldiers a day. Here are my results: [b]Day 1[/b] Soldiers: 31,500 Civilian Population: 104,276 Total Population: 135,776 [b]Day 2[/b] Soldiers: 31,510 Civilian Population: 104,250 (-26) Total Population: 135,760 (-26) [b]Day 3[/b] Soldiers: 31,520 Civilian Population: 104,227 (-23) Total Population: 135,747 (-23) Why is this happening? Have my soldiers reverted to cannibalism? Are they chasing away the innocent women and children? Also, anybody know the ideal soldier percentage? i have a pretty good idea, but I haven't been able to verify it yet....

Really? I have 5 right now, three from the last four days. One good one and four bad.

This is ridiculous. I've had 5 events since they came back up. I've only collected taxes twice and I've started paying bills every other day. So far I'm in the hole -8 happiness, -$2, -5% land, and no access to Affluent Population. I've got to deal with this for a month????

Sign me up. Marble+Cattle. Let me know when were going to start this so I can give my current partners notice.
