  1. Well, congratulations on finally coming through. Though, it certainly sounds suspicious that none of the others told you NPO contacted them, and if they did, that you didn't contact NPO.
  2. Termination of the Moldavi doctrine. Change policy to disallow any current and future EZI/PZI sentences. Cease fire with FAN and Vox. Now, those are terms worth getting. Reps, 20% soldiers, etc. are just a minor hindrance. Edit: There's an r in future? I say! Who knew?
  3. AE was created by a merger of my second alliance and my reformed first alliance. Nothing can ever replace the alliance who was my first, second and third. While I'm saddened that it couldn't make it, I'm also grateful that it can now rest in peace. Let's rejoice in the memories, and may the bitterness some old members feel for each other be buried. I miss you all a great deal! Long live the memory of the Byzantine Empire, The Atlantic League and the Atlantic Empire!
  4. Lies, we type them easily in Norway too. Proof: äëÿüïö
  5. In my humble opinion, basing it on score would make sense, as it scales members/NS and the 'not in top 200'-definition is extremely hard to define, since the view 200 alliance only lists alliances of more than 20 members. I'm thinking something along the lines of: Micro: 0-2 Small: 2-5 Medium: 5-10 Large: 10-15 Huge: 15->
  6. Would you kindly direct me to the place where alliances may buy spheres?
  7. Congratulations Prussia, and welcome to the world stage. I'm sorry your topic devolved into an argument about classiness.
  8. I'm proud of what LOUD has become, and I'm glad to see you're still going strong and moving forward. Enjoy your retirement TCO, you've deserved it!
  9. Congratulations JS! I'm glad to see you're doing better and better.
  10. Wow. Well, congratulations Oda, it's been far too long!
  11. Dear Bama. While answering people you started with Jason's post, thus forgetting mine. It's an honest mistake, and normally I wouldn't care. However, you continue to claim that Brookbank said Finster had made a death threat. Reading the public address once more, I am still unable to find this part of it, and so is ctrl+f. If he does claim so, would you please direct me to it, and excuse my sloppiness? If what you meant is the section where that Brookbank claims that Finster wishes him dead in RL, please stop using the term death threat. A threat and a wish are vastly different in nature, and the discussion is meaningless if the terms are wrong.
  12. No he didn't. Edit: Added Bama-quote
  13. Well Bama, you're being over dramatic as well. As far as I remember, Brookbank never said Finster made a occ death threat, only that Finster wished him dead in RL. While I agree with you that Finster most likely didn't mean it in that way, I do see that such a claim is viable given that Finster said: Since this was in the context of an EZI sentence, and not Brookbank's character, it's clear that the first two statements should be interpreted as OOC. Because I personally could never get so involved in a game, I have a hard time believing that the third one was OOC, but I don't think it's too far a stretch to assume it. At the very least, IC and OOC was mixed in one sentence, which was bound to be confusing or exploited.
  14. I agree. Having a godess as senator pretty much makes up for having a heathen as vice-president.
  15. I do not see why people complain this change makes an army less worth, or nukes that much harder to obtain. Before, having a large army wasn't really an advantage, as it raised your NS so much larger nations could declare on you. Now however, the NS increase you receive should not make that much of a difference in who can attack you, thus having a full military is a meaningful way of protecting you from the first strikes. As for the top 5 being harder to reach, thats exaggerated. Like previously mentioned, the nations who have 20 nukes has an economically disadvantage, so outgrowing them is a possibility. Also, since the system is made so that each nukes gets worth more NS strength wise, the first nuke is still worth only 50 NS. That means that nations reaching top 5% days before you won't get a large NS advantage that unfairly keeps them in top 5%. To sum it up, great change Admin
  16. I'd like to promote United Federation of Armatus. They're a small, young and relatively weak alliance, but they're extremely organized. AE protects them, so I'd know. If you're looking to build something that'll last, UFA is a solid choice. If you'd rather join a bit more established alliance, there's plenty of decent ones. Names like Bushido, =LOST=, =Western Empire= and Ragnarok pops into my mind. If you want to join a true powerblock, any of the Continuum alliances will do. And of course, the entire aqua sphere is awesome. You can't go wrong if you pick an aqua alliance!
  17. Our baby alliance is full of win! DISCLAIMER: Joining will make your stockpile of awesome skyrocket.
  18. My friend told me to post this for him as he can't get onto the forums anymore: He has attempted to log on several times. Nation ruler: Sigma nation: Epsilon Republic
  19. You should at least wait until the 31st to maximize what the donation will give you!
  20. Theoretically speaking, could a color sphere, if they managed to agree, get a team color flag uploaded? And if so, how big of of a majority would be required? The background for asking this question is that discussion for aqua unity is undergoing, and a treaty may be on its way, therefore I started meddling with creating a flag for aqua... It isn't that that big of a deal or anything, but I, for one, would love to fly my team color as my nation flag
  21. Yes. I for one need to make sure I'm swapping for more than 3 days or it would be uneconomical to destroy the labor camps down in order to collect. This effect comes when you reach the point were you can buy the labor camps without destroying any other improvements. While you still have to destroy 5 improvements to build a labor camp the effect is often much larger. For example, if you have to destroy 5 police headquarters the effect is -15 hapiness instead of -5!
  22. I'd get a great temple. It'd be awesome to have my cyberdudes worship me
