Here is the list of parties that will be running in the federal level: Democratic Party of Disparu (DPD) Ideology: Social democracy Fiscal position: Leftist Social position: Centrist Leader: Spencer Fowl The DPD advocates social democracy, liberalism and a mixed economy. It currently forms the Disparuean Government. Empire Party of Disparu (EPD) Ideology: Conservative liberalism Fiscal position: Rightist Social position: Leftist Leader: Cynthia Celeste The EPD advocates conservatism and free markets. The EPD currently holds the Chancellorship. Green Party of Disparu (GPD) Ideology: Eco-socialism Fiscal position: Leftist Social position: Rightist Leader: Erika Gardenia The GPD advocates the development of greener and more efficient technologies, more Government control for industries, and a cleaner Disparu in general. Parti Français du Disparu (PFD) French Party of Disparu Ideology: Left-wing nationalism Fiscal position: Leftist Social position: Leftist Leader: Gilles Duceppe The PFD advocates higher emphasis on French culture and rights in Disparu. Communist Party of Disparu (CPD) Ideology: Communism, Marxism-Leninism Fiscal position: Far-left Social position: Rightist Leader: Francis Roy ------------ The leaders will be able to answer any questions. Fowl: We see GLS as a potential ally to the Disparuean people, and as such, when elected we shall try our best to help our neighbour's Government financially and militarily to ensure stability and order in the region. Celeste: Basically the same thing Fowl said, though we'd focus more on defeating TUO once and for all, as well as helping GLS citizens and businesses to get back on track. Gardenia: No comment. Duceppe: How would I deal with it? Simple, increase border security and lock down the border with GLS. Disparu's internal affairs, especially French affairs, are more important to us compared to other issues. Roy: We'd send in the Disparuean Forces to establish a temporary government until the pre-war government can stand on it's own. Meanwhile, we'll be increasing the security in the Disparu-GLS Border. Also, what treaties have your support?" Fowl: Hmm...foreign affairs. We'd usually side with our fellow American nations on most issues. We're open to treaties and trades with any nation in the world, though we prefer treaties with American countries and those with the same ideals as us. Celeste: Disparu is quite detached to foreign affairs, so we don't really think about it that much. We prefer signing free trade agreements with other nations, especially if both sides would greatly benefit from an agreement like that. On an unrelated note, we've been toying with the idea of completely cutting relations with Caucasia, due to...er...certain reasons. Gardenia: We support nations that use or develop green technologies, and we would prefer signing technological agreements with those nations. Duceppe: If elected, Disparu will improve it's relations with Francophone nations all over the world, and advocate French language and culture. Roy: When we form the Government, we'll reach out to communist and socialist nations and start diplomatic relations with them. "Do any of you plan on sending aid to Texas?" Fowl: If you mean the democratically-elected Commonwealth of Texas, then yes, considering that our New Englander friends also has your support. But I heard that the war has turned into a Cold War, so... *shrugs* Celeste: We support the Texan Imperial Family, so, yeah we might help them if they really need more help. Gardenia: No comment. Duceppe: You don't have a single trace of French culture, so...no. Roy: Yes! If elected, we shall help the Commonwealth of Texas stand against imperialist oppression! Anyways, I don't blame them, but I agree with Fowl that they should be nicer. Duceppe: *looks surprised* What news channel? Roy: Caucasia has extremely liberal laws on media, which resulted in this situation. If my party is elected, that will never happen. We'll put tight checks on all media. IC: Fowl: We'll maintain the status quo; the military will continue to be lower down the priority scale, while the rest of the budget goes to infrastructure, development, health care, et cetera. As for the economy, we're planning on expanding the tertiary and quaternary sector of the economy, and possibly finding trade agreements with nations that have what we don't to boost our secondary sector of the economy. Celeste: *motions toward Fowl* What he said, though we'll probably also try to expand the primary sector of the economy. Gardenia: The military will continue to be on the lower end of the priority scale. As for the economy, we plan on having more environmental controls on the secondary sector of the economy. While this may hurt Disparuean industries for the time being, this will encourage companies to find more efficient and greener methods of producing their products, which is good. Duceppe: No comment. Roy: The Disparuean Forces is currently one of the weakest armies in North America. When elected, the military will be higher on the priority scale and we would increase Disparu's military strength. Fowl: Europe has been the source of almost all of Disparu's English-French culture, so it is held with high regard by most Disparueans. Austria's a nice country, though I didn't really hear anything about an Austrian Civil War. Celeste: *glares at Fowl* Do you know how to read minds? Gardenia: Europe's a good enough continent. As for Austria, well, I've heard that an environmental office there had proposed quite a lot of things to improve the Austrian environment, and that makes me happy to be an environmentalist and a politician. Duceppe: Europe is the source of French culture, so that's good enough. Though it seems to be extremely unstable politically and territorially, in my opinion. Fowl: Hmm...that's a difficult question. If I lost the election, I would probably support Gilles Duceppe, since our ideologies are quite similar. Celeste: *evil glint in her eyes* We won't lose. Trust me. Gardenia: Good question. If we didn't exist, the Democratic Party would probably have the greenest political platform, so I'll go with them. Duceppe: Even though I may disagree in some of their policies, I'd vote for the Empire Party. They would be a good choice for government if we didn't win. Roy: I'd vote for the Green Party, considering that they're the closest party to us in terms of political positions and ideologies. A close contender would be the Democratic Party.
