Nagato the Great
From: Gena Korsunsky,Premier of Communist Diadochoi To: Dragon Bloc Dear Dragon Bloc Representative, The Communist State of Diadochoi sends this message in the hopes of joining the Dragon Bloc. We have only recently come out of a six year rebellion and overcome an oppressive government, and we wish to create new relations with other nations. We are not in a state of war nor do we plan to be in the near future. We will answer any questions put to us by the Dragon Bloc. Maelstrom Vortex
"First thing we would like to know is your location? We do not have any registry of your government on our world maps currently. What land have you claimed?"
Nagato the Great
we are waiting for the map to be updated. we control the land between Yuktobania and the United Kingdom of Buryatia
Maelstrom Vortex
"I see, I will get this vote before the membership of the bloc and have them directed here to pose their questions. Tell us about your state in the meantime. What type of government are you? What is your nation's current primary goals for development? What is your current foreign policy towards your neighbors?" Nagato the Great
We are currently a Communist state. Currently we are working at improving our military, which was more infantry based, into one more dependant on armoured divisions. We currently are pursuing relations with our neighbors, as our government is young and we haven't had enough interaction with our neighbours to have a foreign policy of them. Maelstrom Vortex
"In terms of your military, what is your policy on the use of military force to settle disputes?"
Nagato the Great
With other nations, we would prefer to settle the dispute civilly without resorting to violence. However, if things begin to get out of hand, or if they resort to violence, we will not hesitate to use military force as well. The same goes for civil disputes. Sargun II
Not only have you not come out of a six year rebellion but you join the Dragon Bloc on your first day of existence? This is particularly troubling.
Nagato the Great
ooc: this isn't the first day of existence...if you mean playing CN, well over a month. if you mean roleplaying, about a week. We need allies, I am sorry if it seems i am being too hasty.

They will respond here as they recieve the notifications. Given you are young, expect many questions. Additionally, have you read the Dragon Bloc charter?" ooc: If you haven't, a link to it is in my sig next to merger rules. Maelstrom Vortex
Question, what are the benefits to the Dragon Bloc? "There are many benefits. Mutual defense, mutual economic partnership, joint training among the military, the might of the Dragon Empire fully backs the actions of the Dragon Bloc, regional stability, regional prosperity, and a good forum to settle disputes diplomatically without an air of hostility among fellow members." "At this point we have two votes in favor of Diadochoi joining the block. The vote has begun. If within 24 hours there are no protests or no votes by block members to Diadochoi's membership and the vote remains in the yes columns, then Diadochoi's signature will be requested for the treaty."
