People in all Purple alliances find it amusing, some joke about it more than others. Just because a few vocal members of the community get butthurt over it, doesn't make it any less funny.It is a little bit of fun, try it.

I don't see why people get so mad about it. Unless Stumpy or the "Purple King thing" has ever actually impacted on your Sovereignty roll with it or ignore it.

A few people got butthurt over the Stumpy-Purple thing. Most of the people who supposedly objected to it while we were there just found it lame, and did not participate.

I've never seen anyone from either UPN or Legion, two alliances who have significantly more Purple members than iFOK's 78, bother with it. Either way.
