I am surprised that R.O.C.K. has not been mentioned in this thread.

I don't think GOLD was that bad an alliance. Sure it went down-hill towards the end but I remember there were some very good leaders at the helm of GOLD. I thought the time under Machiabelly was good. If my memory serves me right, many of AO founding members were from GOLD. R.O.C.K. merged into GOLD for a period of time too. As for a reply to the OP, I think we don't need GOLD v2, but we sure need another Yellow alliance to fill the void left by GOLD.

Welcome to the Yellow sphere and all the best in flourishing here. We need more people here to fill the space that the Golden Horde has left. You can approach one of the Yellow alliances, it makes sense to me that they would be more eager to protect a fellow teammate.
