All Twelve MiG-29 Fulcrum A Multi Role Fighters scrapped for spare parts and components for the MiG-29S Fulcrum C Multi Role Fighters in service Rio de Janeiro Army 1st Air Assault Brigade redeployed to Parana Province to rest and refit. Two Infantry Brigades pulled out of the front in Rodonia Province to rest and refit Problems of Combat Fatigue have began to plague the Rio de Janeiro Army as many soldiers had now endured multiple campaigns. Accordingly the Argentina and Uruguay Protectorate Force will be formed, with the Two Infantry Brigades have moved into the area, split through both nations accordingly. Humanitarian aid have started to flow into the countries, with the Operation a Humanitarian Operation under the name "Fresh Start". This is not an attempt to expand into these lands, just to provide the security of food, medicine and shelter until Argentina and Uruguay are independent nations once again." The Rio de Janeiro Air Force would establish headquarters at Montevideo International Airport and Buenos Aires International Airport where supplies would be landed. The main efforts would be made here and the aid distributed by road. The populations of both nations would be given support and any threat of what had happened in Brazilian territory would therefore be negated by the generous help being given by this Operation. With the conflict now confined to the West, elsewhere the Rio de Janeiro Army had began to deploy for peacetime, though more soldiers would need to be recruited to protect the soon to be created Federal State of Brazil more effectively. Rio de Janeiro Military Quartermaster Command Reserve Arsenal Two Hundred of Seven Hundred BTR-70M Armoured Personnel Carriers are scrapped for spare parts. All Two Hundred UAZ-469 4x4s are scrapped. Two Hundred of Four Hundred and Twenty BMP-2M Infantry Fighting Vehicles are scrapped for spare parts. All Eight Tu-22M1 Backfire A Strategic Bombers are scrapped for spare parts for the Five Tu-22M2 Backfire B Strategic Bombers in service. Rio de Janeiro Air Force Investigations into the Il-20M Coot-A Surveillance Aircraft crash in Para Province show the Aircraft had suffered structural fatigue and is no longer fit for service. All Twenty Aircraft are to be retired from service with the MQ-1 Predator Unmanned Aerial Vehicle to enter service soon as replacement. VigilantWatcher Posted September 1, 2014 Author Report Share Posted September 1, 2014 (edited) Classified Rio de Janeiro Army Armoured Brigade raised increasing strength from Three to Four Armoured Brigades Infantry Brigade raised increasing strength from Fourteen to Fifteen Infantry Brigades Rio de Janeiro Republican Guard 3rd Rio de Janeiro Republican Guard Brigade "Ocelot" is raised increasing strength from Two to Three Brigades. 1st Republican Guard Brigade Rio de Janeiro renamed 1st Republican Guard Brigade "Brazil" 2nd Republican Guard Brigade Sao Paulo renamed 2nd Republican Guard Brigade "Brasilia" However the renaming of the Organisation to the Brazilian Republican Guard was not yet to happen until the Federal State of Brazil came into being, along with the renaming of the other branches of the Military. Famas Assault Rifle replaced as the Standard Assault Rifle by the M4 Carbine. Four Hundred Thousand of the Nine Hundred Thousand units in service are removed from use into the Rio de Janeiro Military Quartermaster Command Reserve Arsenal. Rio de Janeiro Air Force MQ-1 Predator Unmanned Aerial Vehicle enters service (Two Squadrons of Thirty) ------------------------- Mk 19 40mm Grenade Launcher enters service with Rio de Janeiro Army and Rio de Janeiro Republican Guard. ------------------------- A Top Secret Operation under the codenamed Swift Dagger is enacted. Secretly 21st Special Operations Brigade units are inserted into Uruguay. They would pull out after several hours, eliminating fifty six escaped Militia fighters who had been indicted for crimes against the State.
