As the men land in the water, two of the F-22 fighters headed out opposite the other. Once at a distance a 90 degree nose dive the air planes did a nose dive toward the estimated landing area of the men.

They ignore the message from the Ft. Adm. and speed up going faster and faster and eventually crash into each other as they are estimated 50 feet above the men in the water. It is unknown if the men were in the range of debris.

Ft. Adm. [i]'Everyone, back to base as fast as you can. Do not engage or let the enemy or Irish find of your identity at all costs.' [/i]

The men watched as the two planed headed right for them. There was no escape from this foolish act by pilots. They exploded not far above them, killing them instantly. It seems King Johns closest friend had paid the ultimate price for service to the King.

Imperial Command had already kept an eye on developtments around Espana, when a fight just outside of Irish airspace appeared on the screens the decision was made to hail Irish authorities.

Meanwhile in Tiministan, they recieved the message of what had happened. The King was notified immediately. He and General Mitchell were the closest of friends. Having lived next to each other as childeren, they were in the same class all the way through school. They went to university together, and joined the airforce together after graduating. They were wingmen, and were widely known as the best pilots ever in Tiministan.

This was tragic news indeed for the King. He could not bear to think about what would happen if his closest friend did not survive. The last few months of Anger Managment classes would surely become redundant. He could already feel the twitch returning to his eye. He would not be able to control himself should the worst come true.

He replied to the message.

"Thank you for informing us of the situation, we shall send several C-5 Galaxies along with several squadrons of fighters as an escort once all the remains are recovered, to return them to Tiministan. Thank you also for the help you are giving us at this time. Should you find out exactly what heppened, or the status of General Mitchell and Dr. Brown, please reply directly to me. Thank you once again."

He got up, barely able to walk he moved slowly towards the drinks cabinet. He would need comforting in this drastic situation.

Irish aircraft, all two squadrons of them, began to pull within missile range of the fleeing bogies - once in range, the Irish aircraft would launch their missiles.

He then switches to the base channel.

Base; 'Copy Ft. Adm., rescue is being sent.'[/i]

The men set to auto pilot and eject and the coast guard is shipping out. The planes crash. Helicopters of both Military and Coast Guard were deployed and small boats were being prepared to leave at 2100 hours, arrival time was 2145.

Our radar has been activated as well. Can you give coordinates as to where the bogies currently are, so that we may track them as well?

For now, they would need luck in order to track them; but as soon as they were notified of the proper location they would change course. The fighters would never actually fly into Irish airspace without permission, however.

Yes we are. We are planing to track the bogies ourselves, and if they are headed in our direction and are seen as a possible threat to our nation, we will not hesitate to shoot them down. We believe that terrorists may be piloting the aircraft, although we cannot be sure. We do not expect them to pose any danger to us, but then again I am sure no one expected a diplomatic aircraft to be shot down either. Thank you for the coordinates, our fighters will interfere with yours as little as possible.

Chronicle left behind two ships while the others have moved on to the scene of incident number two. Irish fighters reported downing multiple bogies, shoots were seen to have deployed though the pilots were unsure of the enemy's survival. The H.M.S. Gurtha and H.M.S. Wildfire have reported that no one survived the original incident, I repeat, no one has survived the original incident. Wreckage has been identified by Naval divers as that of your SR-71, additional wreckage has revealed what appears to be Espana insignias and markings on two other planes. The Chronicle's battle group is nearing the site of incident number two, and when they arrive, divers will try to identify the markings on the other planes.
