Mr Cameron today made official the independance of England and with it "Red Ed" Milliband announced his plans to push forward the general elections in an apparent move to usurp the present Government and replace a Tory regime with a Labour regime. Mr Cameron had little to say on the matter during his speach, but is expected to meet with Tory leadership later this month to discuss holding an election. Meanwhile, Red Ed, is going to be pushing for an election through Parliament, aswell as gaining support in local constituancies to make a Labour victory concrete.

In other news, the former Finnish Navy, which was set loose by Finland and commanded by Admiral Aleksi "Thor" Joona, has been brought into the employment of his Magesties Armed Services to make up the Royal Navy and BAE systems has begun rolling out mass orders of fighter aircraft, strike aircraft and strategic level bombers aswell as assorted ground support aircraft and helicopters in a constract estimated to be worth £12Bn Pounds. More news from the ministry of defence details that the English army is to be at its full capacity of 540,000 men by the end of the year. Surges in nationalism and patriotism during the American occupation have made the younger generation of England want to sign up and defend their country against foreign aggressors.

The BBC is also pleased to announce the Crown Jewels are safe and sound after many believed them to be destroyed in attacks against the Tower of London by the Finnish Navy to prevent them being looted. They were discovered by the a Household Cavalry officer whilst he was doing his rounds in the ruins of the Tower. Apparently locked in the safe room deep beaneth the building, the Jewels escaped destruction due to replicas being on display instad of the real items. King Alfred and Queen Elizabeth II are apparently overjoyed at the news that the main symbol of English history has survived.

In other news, Admiral Joona of the Royal Navy, former commander of the Finnish taskforce has come forward and claimed responsibility for the massacre in the North Sea, in which 37,000 soldiers and sailors from the Kingdom of Burgundaholmr perished. The Kingdom of Burgundaholmr's taskforce was destroyed after it began launching V2 missiles on an apparent attack trajectory against the carrier, HMS Ark Royal. Believing that his ship was under attack, he ordered a counter attack against the ships, which resulted in such casualties. Anti missile systems across the fleet began tracking and engaging the V2 missiles as the flew overhead on an apparent course to London. Luckily, once Finnish forces had done what they could, the Irish took over missile defence and prevented an attack on London.

Joona defends his actions against the Kingdom of Burgundaholmr, as by extention as does David Cameron, who believed Joona acted with the professionalism expected of an Admiral by doing everything in his power to prevent the loss of innocent life.

Up to 15,000 new jobs are to be created in England ovr the next 6 months as BAE systems is opening seven new factories, steel works and military testing installations across the Nation. Countys such as Lancashire, Mersyside, Chester, Yorkshire and Essex are too host the facilities due to a new Government incentive to bring work to areas of large regions of unemployment. Mr Cameron signed a special contract with BAE systems which means almost 60% of all the militaries hardware comes from their factories. The contract, worth billions, will hopefully guarantee that the armed forces stay well supplied and ready for action, be it at war or in humanitarian action.

In other news, Parliament is meeting next week to discuss the failed attack on London from the Kingdom of Burgundaholmr. The Kingdom launched twenty V-2 rockets, weapons which terrorised the city the last years of World War Two, were intercepted by the Royal Navy and Irish missile defence units. Edward Milliband, leader of the Labour party is alleged to have written a speach calling the Conservative Party to act against such an attack and treat it as an act of war. However, Mr Cameron, Prime Minister, has said to BBC news tonight when asked about the rumour that:
"It is not in Englands best interests at this time to go to war over an attack on our sovereignty, before we were independant as a Nation, Furthermore, I believe it would harm Englands relationship with the European community if we began a conflict for that precise reason."
Defence ministers are calling for the Kingdom of Burgundaholmr to publicly apologise for the attacks and explain themselves as to why they launched the rockets.

A response still has not been recieved.

Plans have been announced to completly close the English borders this week after several protests across the country by groups such as the English Defence Leage, English Nationalist Alliance. Both organisations have a growing support base in the North of Enland, with estimated numbers of up to 10,000 members in each group. The EDL and ENA are regarded as far right facist groups by the general population, however all their protests have been violence free, and in the rare case trouble has reared its head, both organisations have taken responsibility and also found the people responsible in their own ranks and presented them to the police.

Ontop of ENA and EDL protests in the north in regards to immigration, the Bank of England released a quota today which in short spelled out financial distaster for the Government is they dont get rid of the benefits system as a whole instead of a shakedown. A bank spokes person said "To continue with the benefits system, the borders must be closed to stop foreigners coming in, claiming asylum and then claiming the dole. Or, to prevent financial ruin, we stop the dole totally, which would be biting out nose to spite our face, especially concerning Englands lower classes."

Mrs Jackie Smith, Home Secretary had this to say in an official statement from the Home Office.
"Over the next few months, the borders will be shut and entrance to England will only be given with special VISA's and Government funded airliners such as British Airways. The Channel Tunnel will be re-opened, but all passengers will be checked for the new travel VISA. If no VISA is found, the person(s) will be held in a holding area for twenty four hours, before being returned to the train and sent back the way they came.

This law does not apply for the Kingdom of Ireland, or French citizens, who England considers close friends on an international level. Whilst they must still go through customs checks et cetera, as far as England is concerned, we operate an open border policy for French and Irish citizens.

Moreover, the benefits system is to undergo a complete overhaul to prevent people wrongfully collecting benefits money. A series of new incentives to stop fraud will be launched next month. Some reforms suggest would be extensive jail time for repeat offenders of benefit theft/fraud aswell as being forced to pay back the money stolen."

Now many are calling Englands new policies extreme, aswell as giving into right wing groups demands but are they? The Government can cut its defecit almost 15% simply by making it that much harder for illegal immigration into England. A lower defecit means lower taxes and more money for public spending in parks, impoverished areas such as the Stoop district of Burnley, areas of Birmingham and Dudley and Mosside.

Edward Milliband, leader of the Labour party has said that if he wins the next General Election, these border reforms shall be lifted and a return to the previous system shall occur, however when asked about the Benefit system reforms, he applauded Mr Camerons action and said "It is excellent to see the Conservative party going out of its way to combat benefit fraud".

Several leading pro-immigration experts in the Empire have noted that it seems improbable that 15% of England's "deficit" could be caused by immigration fraud. Indeed, given that England has been spending an extreme amount on military expenses, one would imagine that England must be spending hundreds of billions on immigrants, and this is indicative of poor policy by the English. The Empire's immigration policy, which encourages immigration (there are far more immigrants in the Empire than the entire population of England several times over), has seen very little fraud due to smart policies and a population willing to integrate. On top of that, lower taxes means less public money by definition, so unless the vast majority of the English government is corrupt then one must assume that all immigrants in England are illegal and are taking in millions at a time.

On the news that England has overreacted to their immigration situation, several thousand immigrants and their descendants from the British Isles rallied in support for a more liberal policy.

OOC: I assume that there is immigration in this world, so unless you want to go and say "lol nobody leaves england :v: " there shouldn't be a problem.

Last week England declared war against the Kingdon of Burgundaholmr over a plot was revealed to the Government which implicated the Burgundian Government attempting to arrange nuclear strikes against cities across England. It was already being spoken about in Parliament in regards to going to war with the Burgundaholmr over their failed missile attack on London using conventonal weaponry, but a decision hadn't been made in the matter. However when information came to light regarding the new threat, Mr Cameron didnt fail to act, and with full support from Parliament, with only a few minor back benchers from the Liberal Democrats opposing the decision to take immediate action and remove the threat entirely.

Our attaché with the Royal Navy send back a brief distpatch this morning reading:
HMS Ark Royal and HMS Swan have begun launching strike aircraft on missions to destroy any Burgundian targets.
Para regiments 1,2,3 and four have begun their combat drop.

Rumours amungst the soldiers of SAS involvement although unconfirmed.
First wave of strike aircraft reached Bornsholm with the parachute regiments, report success.
No casualties reported.

PRIME MINISTER MAKES ANNOUNCMENT ON THE WAR

"That is the message which I have been instructed to deliver to the English Nation. I have only two or three sentences to add. They will convey to the House my deep gratitude to this House of Commons, which has proved itself the strongest foundation for waging war that has ever been seen in the whole of our history. We have all of us made our mistakes, but the strength of the Parliamentary institution has been shown to enable it at the same moment to preserve all the title-deeds of democracy while waging war in the most stern and protracted form. I wish to give my hearty thanks to men of all Parties, to everyone in every part of the House where they sit, for the way in which the liveliness of Parliamentary institutions has been maintained under the fire of the enemy, and for the way in which we have been able to persevere-and we could have persevered much longer if need had been-till all the objectives which we set before us for the procuring of the unlimited and unconditional surrender of the enemy had been achieved.
That this House do now attend at the Church of St. Margaret, Westminster, to give humble and reverent thanks to Almighty God for our deliverance from the threat of Burgundian terrorism.
This morning at 8:41 a.m. at English Headquarters a representative of the German High Command, signed the act of unconditional surrender of all Burgundian Forces on the Island of Bornholm. It is with great thanks towards the Germanic Union that this comes. After the suicide and death of the Burgundian Republics two leaders, their army decided to take it on themselves to declare themselves part of the Germanic Union.

Using this to their advantage the Germans commanded the Burgundians surrender to our forces immediately.

England emerges victorious once more, but at a cost.
I have been informed just this morning that eighty eight members of the SAS regiment and the Para regiment were killed in action in the early hours of this morning. Their families will be notified of their sacrifice in the name of King and Country."

In a shocking turn around, Parliament has overturned David Camerons wishes to have the 11,000 prisoners of war stand trial. Ed Miliband and Nick Clegg, chiefs of the Labour and Liberal Democrat parties put forward the request, aswell as a complete overhaul of P.O.W regulations after images were leaked of Paratroopers executing the Burgundian high command and civilian leadership. Tensions between England and Legion have been rising over the matter, with Dellion of Legion placing a 30 million bounty on David Camerons head until the situation is resolved.
Statement from the Ministry of Defence
The 11,000 prisoners will be freed and returned to the Germanic Union after Parliament overturned the Prime Ministers decision in a veto.
However, with the vote now passed in the prisoners favour, allowing them to return home without hindrance, The Government is expressing hopes that Legions harsh stance against England will drop and a more positive stance is taken, although political analysts believe nothing will change until the General Election.

This recent turn of events between Legion and David Camerons Government is expected to bring about a change in Government for the election as public opinion polls indicate Mr Camerons popularity has dropped 60%.

After mounting pressure from Parliament, including Conservative backbenchers, David Cameron has released the date of the General Elections. After the war against Bornsholm Island and its terrorist regime, the following tensions between David Camerons England and Legion reached a high point when Legion actually declared a thirty million dong bounty on his head, which many would see as an act of war.

However, the Conservative Government made clear it would not allow another war to break out, but it seemed content to allow trobule to brew between Africa and England by not releasing the Prisoners. However the Labour and Libdem parties levvied a veto against the decision, over ruling the decision, aswell as a full parden for all 11,000 prisoners of war.

A statement from Legion from Dellion himself states:
Legion Government Announcement
Upon confirmation that all of the prisoners have physically been transported and returned to their homeland we shall drop the bounty and begin phasing down our hostile stance against England. We ask that a third party make this confirmation as we are obviously a bit suspicious of the English and a bit put off by the German's unwillingness to fight for their own people. Another European nation seems more appropriate for this task.

As a gesture of good faith, English ships and planes needing to make emergency stops within Legion may now do so for a period of twenty four hours, failure to depart after that twenty four hours will result in a scale of fines that increase by the hour. Fines payable in cash of course, not English pounds either, but good hard dongs.

- Dellion
The Hanseatic Commonwealth has offered itself as a third party, however the Government has yet to comment or accept their offer it is still unknown wether David Cameron has responded, no statement from Number ten has been issued. However, the first shipments of prisoners arrived in Amsterdam this morning and it is expected to take another week or two until all 11,000 are moved.

As a result of the mounting pressure from all parties domestic and internationally, the General Election will take place on the First of November, and with the way the Conservatives have handled England in the brief time of Independance, its predicted the Labour Party will take control.

Elections are to take place after almost ten years of Parliamentary rule by the Peoples Working Party. His Majesty, King Alfred, in line with his wish that the UK return to a fully democratic constituional Monarchy has announced the date of a general election for the Parliamentary Goverment to be on the 30th of April.

The main parties, the Conservatives, the Labour party and the PWP will all be running for the top seats this year in an effort to secure their place of power when the Government moves into the final stages of transition.

Snippets from party campaign promises

Labour Party
-Increase defence spending.
-Develop Britains own nuclear deterrant.
-Develop a strategic missile defence system.
-Re-introduce the benefits system.
-Scrap the back to work schemes.
-Increased taxes.
-Free Higher education.

Conservative Party
-Decrease defence spending.
-Develop Britains own nuclear deterrant.
-Develop a strategic missile defence system.
-Increase spending in the NHS.
-Increase taxes.
-Tuition Fee increases.

Peoples Working Party
-Increase defence spending.
-Develop Britains own nuclear deterrant.
-Develop a strategic missile defence system.
-Increase NHS spending.
-Free higher education for families earning under 35,000 pounds a year.
-Introducing more back to work schemes.

As you can see, nuclear deterrant and defence plays a constant role across all three parties agendas, however a top MoD officer told the BBC that before Maines nuclear attacks on major cities and even the British Isles, the UK was considering halting its nuclear weapons program. That however, has changed in the last week he said. "With the British Isles once more hit by nuclear weapons it is of the umost national security to gain the nuclear ability aswell as the ability to shoot them down and prevent such attacks happening against British soil. Let us hope these elections can speed up the process".

Irish Insurgency Continues

British forces have continued their aggressive attacks against insurgents in Ireland this week after six soldiers were killed and two injured in a carbomb attack inside Londonderry. The insurgents, taking thier namesake from an old paramilitary group of Ireland, the IRA. The attack took place on the eve of the Bloody Sunday attacks of 1972. Four men believed to be aged between twent four and forty have been arrested by security forces following footage taken from UAV's operating in the area.

Spokesman for British Operations in Ireland, General Sir Mike Jackson issued a statement.
"These murderers claiming to be the IRA have killed six British servicement of the Irish Guards of the 7th Mechanised Regiment and wounded two more of the same formation. It is my intention to eliminate this insurgency through diplomacy or force of arms. I am not a politician, I am a military man and I will bring peace to Ireland. I offer these men and women calling themselves the IRA, one chance to lay down their arms. They will be granted a full pardon for their attacks. Moreover, if stability remains in Ireland, then it allows me to lesson the social impact of British forces. We are not an occupation force and I, along with the Irish Parliament will work to support any bid for Independance that holds the promise of a safe, secure and stable Ireland"

His statement comes soon after a confirmation from the Windsor Parliament that elections will be taking place across the United Kingdom which includes the regional Governments of the dependancies such as Ireland, Svalbard and Franz Josef Land.

As of today, there are roughly 132,500 British personel in Ireland, and sadly, as of today there are thirty seven confirmed deaths and thirteen critical injuries as a result from insurgent action.

In response to President O'Reilly's speech in regards to a "situation with England" King Alfred has released a response.
"Fellow Islanders, I speak to you tonight because of the recent public outcry against the United Kingdom for taking control of Ireland. I do not support that action just as you all do not. I do not like the English being on Irish soil, neither do you. However there is something we both need to agree on and understand. The United Kingdom is our neighbor - and as far as I know, the island of Great Britain isn't going anywhere any time soon... England has done wrong in invading Irish soil. I do not know how to react this. Should I ask congress for a declaration of war? Should I make sanctions? Should I throw them a pizza party and invite the King for coffee?
The Irish and the English have a long history - some of it good and some of it bad. I have asked congress for permission and they have approved to let me conduct a national poll on what should be done. The exact question and answers have not been formulated yet but it will be a poll of everyone in the nation, including those in the Western Isles.

I want you all to remember that it is better to be friends then enemies, peace is better than war, and negotiation is better than aggression.
Thank you for listening,
God Bless the United States of The Islands."
"The United Kingdom has not invaded Ireland and we have commited no wrong. The first British forces on the ground in Wales, Scotland and Ireland all found horrific levels of deglect in the public sectors, poor healthcare and high unemployment. All this whilst the Irish Royalty lived in luxery in their palaces. Dinsmore was a war mongering bully, a despot who stole France from our ally the Athenian Federation, who invaded and occupied Scotland after the first Scottish Government fell only to install a puppet Goverment and they had abandoned large tracts of southern Wales, including the Welsh capital of Cardiff after they dropped their own nuclear ordinance on their own territory and settlements.

Great Britain has been a stabilising force in the abandoned regions and in Scotland and Wales, British forces have been met with nothing but thanks and praise, the same can be said for Ireland with the exception of the RIRA organisation. The IRA disarmed and moved into politics to establish a democratic and bloodless means for Independance, but hardcore nationalists in the RIRA, a number that MI5 places at no more than one hundred and fifty members continue their terrorist attacks.

The Winsdor doctrine guarantees Independance for Ireland, and any other of our dependancies if the regional Government wishes it to be. At the moment, they do not wish to be independant. Ireland is not subjected to home rule and is a self Government part of this United Kingdom. The United States of the Island can huff and puff all it wants and it can do poll after poll after poll, but we will not abandon Ireland, and we will not secede Ireland, or any part of it to the USI as they previously approached us about.

The UK has been lenient with the USI, and we will continue to do so. Bills in Parliament to completlely open the Irish Sea to the USI and British shipping is underway. We also allow free travel to Ireland for USI citizens because of apparent family relations living in Ireland. We invited them to Zurich to better relations and become allies. But no. The USI has snubbed these offers of friendship. Whilst our borders are open to the USI, theirs remain closed to British citizens. They left Zurich as an observer after deciding that the perfectly normal debates that happen in a multi-national alliance meant it was not in their best interests to be a part of the greater European community.

The Islanders of the USI have made their feelings quite clear. They do not like Ireland being part of the United Kingdom. A poll is not needed. But if the USI Government uses this poll as an excuse to attempt sanctions on the United Kingdom or worse, use it as an excuse to declare a state of war, then the UK will be obliged to defend herself and her people. I did not spent almost ten years under the shadow of Ireland and her puppet Scotland, living with the fear that England could be at war with Ireland at anytime, with the knowledge that they can and will use nuclear weaponry against English cities, to have the USI, a nation we have shown nothing but kindness, issue statements like these, statements which contain subtle threats, statements which we have seen repeated time and time again from the court of Richard Dinsmore.

I will make this clear so President O'Reilly understands the British position. We will not be bullied or coerced into leaving Ireland, we will not secede any control of Ireland to your own Nation. Moreover we will not be the ones to initiate hostilities in these British Isles, but we will defend ourselves if you abandon diplomacy and make war on the United Kingdom. We have purposely demilitarised the Irish sea of British warships and jets to emphasise our resolute attitude on the matter.

If Ireland wants Independance, they have but to ask and it will be granted. They are not being occupied, and more than 95% of the Irish population is happy under the Union Flag as a sovereign region in the United Kingdom as opposed to a protectorate region. We urge the USI to cease their campaign of slander and anti UK sentiments because frankly, the region your diplomats asked to be passed into USI control, had the highest vote margin during a referendum, to remain as part of the United Kingdom. The region where apparently the USI has alot of family links. Well I'm sorry but it would seem they are perectly happy with how things are at the minute and they seem to be enjoying the full benefits of being a British citizen."

The Boeing Corporation is announcing that it is filing a law suit in both UFE and British Court for breach of intellectual property committed by the British Ministry of Defense with its blatant copying of a Boeing plane, namely the E-18 Growler.

The parent company Chongqing Heavy Industry's CEO Mr. Lao said in a statement:
This is simply outrageous. The good people of Boeing invested millions in building the E-18 and its Super Hornet base design. That the British would simply build it without consultation is highly insulting. We Chinese would never steal fighter designs from other countries and call them our own. We believe that they should have to reimburse Boeing 20 billion bancors in damages and injury.
While we are deeply disappointed by the British mercantalist tendency, upon consultation with the United Federation of the East Government, we're hereby announcing that we will file a law suit with Athens acting as a intermediary. As Athens has a long established fair court systems and major ties with both nations, we feel they can be considered a fair intermediary. - Spokesman for Boeing
