Thomasj_tx
As it stands now, you can buy two Universities after buying 3 Schools. So it takes 3 Schools to support the purchase of Universities. And it takes 2 Clinics to support the purchase of Hospitals. However, if you buy 5 Schools and/or 5 Clinics and own a University/Hospital, you can not decommission any of the Schools/Clinics, even those over the minimum number required to support the purchase of Universities/Hospitals, unless you first dump the Universities/Hospitals. If it only requires 3 Schools to purchase Universities, why are we required to maintain all 5? In other words, you should be able to decommission your #4 and #5 Schools and your #3, #4 and #5 Clinics without first decommissioning the Universities/Hospitals. What do yall think? Son of Taeper
It's the rules and that be how they work. Might not look fair but I think it be a lot fairer than the donation system that allows guys to buy the game, Jolly Roger, or whatever.
I am aware of how it currently works as you can see from my post. I was suggesting a change and that is why I posted here. Son of Taeper
Please excuse my previous pirate talk. It was auto generated and I had hoped it would revert at some stage but that is clearly not the case. Must admit I had missed the fact that you posted in the correct area but pirate day sort of swamped a lot of us. To your post...... I agree it is hard work but would maintain we all work to game rules and confines. Adopting a different personal strategy might help get around any nation build problems but the game takes a lot into account and we need to see that. More I cannot say. lonewolfe2015
It's this way in SE too, unlikely to change. Also, Taeper, you can't buy a flag. Donations don't promise a win, many have won without them.

At round end it is possible to buy the flag with timing and help. Nations that have won without donations, ? Many would infer more than one but I would settle for one example. Schad
Last round no one from Pork Shrimp donated.
Same held the previous time we ran and won...I'm of the opinion that when you have copious numbers of rogues running around, donating is actually often counterproductive in a flag-run, as those of us who spend an inordinate amount of time poring over the stats can find the telltale signs of a donation, and adjust our intentions accordingly. Nice flag BTW,
