There had been many attempts and successes in the past from both democratic and authoritarian leaders but all had fallen over time. The people had once again united to try to bring yet another country into the world, hopefully one that would last centuries. The people had chosen to return to the roots of the area and a descendent of the ancient nobility had been found and chosen to return to rule what would become a more absolutist version of a constitutional monarchy. The curtains across the entrance to the terrace fluttered in the wind before two images were seen emerging, both wore a scimitar on their left side and a Kirpan on their right, in their arms they held M16's, they both moved to the sides of the entrance. A short time later another man stepped between the curtains, behind him walked two other men, as the first man came fully into view the people began to cheer for the man who in mere hours would become the official Emir of Qatar and lead them into the future. The Emir wore a traditional white Thobe under his black Bisht, his head was covered by a white Ghutra, the Emir walked to the railing of the terrace, quickly glancing down to ensure the microphone was still there before drawing in a breath and beginning to speak. 'People of Qatar and Bahrain, we have been both united in a single cause and on opposite sides of a conflict, today we forever become the people of a single country, never again shall we have a wedge driven between us, today we become one whole. You, the people have chosen me to become the leader of this new nation and bring it to a greatness we have never before seen.' The Emir stopped to look at the crowd, it had gone completely silent the moment he reached the railings and even now they looked at him with their complete attention, he began to speak again. 'The people of these lands have shown the world that they are united in a single belief, that these lands are destined to become something greater than they have ever been before and we will never stop working to prove it'. The Emir looked at the crowd before yelling out' LONG LIVE QATAR, LONG LIVE BAHRAIN', as he walked away from the railing and through the entrance the people yelled his words over and over, a massive smile was across his face that lasted through the ceremony that officially made him the Emir of his country, his smile only faded when he finally drifted off to sleep. Qatar-Bahrain had entered the world.
