Maelstrom Vortex
ooc: Yay typos (imperial). ic: A group of 10 Imperial Dragon Cultists arrived to set up shop in the capitol of Sarnunga after finding out there was no oppression of religious rights. They sought out good land in the capitol districts where they could build there temple and raise the local land values with their aesthetic, holy, and relaxing grounds; at least that's what they'd use to sell the idea to the local politicians and peoples. Then they'd begin to invite people to attend.. the whole go to Church on Sunday sort of thing where they'd teach them about the Dreamers and how you must be saved by a Dreamer to see true salvation. They of course, would encourage accepting the Emperor Dragon as their personal Dreamer. The prophecy of the coming fire of the Emperor Dragon was also spread, about its imminent coming.. giving a specific time frame.. within four years. Sargun II
A building un-destroyed by the nuclear attacks on Carthage years ago had a pale, almost blue glow to it. The building was known as the Vagrant Row, and had long been used for news reports as the stark difference between the rather pleasing looking building and the filthy inhabitants usually gave a good shock. The drug deals in the building had long since moved on and the only thing inside were a bunch of kids living on the street.
Maelstrom Vortex
The cultists saw the glow as a sign and looked actively to acquire this building, not caring of the potential side effects of residing there. Their intent was to clean it up and make it properly usable again by a dedicated staff of personnel. All the same, they weren't totally insane. They did check for excessive radiation and would take care to clean it up if any were indicated simply because they liked the spot.
Sargun II
The glowing was unfortunately not a side-effect of radiation, and the poor men would not die a slow death. The cultists were supported by a neighborhood full of people wishing to see the building put to good use, and the news coverage of their efforts was quite positive.
