Prime minister Johns
If you wish to have a RP war with me contact me first so that we can work out all the details first, like who actually wins and how they won. This will ensure that all the OOC drama is out of the way before we actually begin and the actual RP can proceed smoothly and without interruption as a summery of what transpired during the OOC planning stages of the war. A OOC thread will be established as part of this process to enable the public to have a chance to comment and make objections as well. But IC data will be discussed in an OOC way during this process and metagaming with this info by third parties will be frowned on. If godmoding occurs in the planning stages and an RP mod or general public sentiment agrees that it is godmoding then the RP will be scrapped and will not be incorporated into my storyline. I do not mind RPing wars, but I find the OOC shenanigans that go along with them to be distasteful so I am taking steps to ensure a smoother more enjoyable RP experience for everyone concerned. Uberstein
Good luck getting people to respect it though. I've tried to be in this mode and people ignore the fact that you only recognize planned wars, then start yelling that you're going to get removed from CNRP if you don't recognize the war. Actually, that's only to the people that abuse it. Example, you ignored all "Nords" when you did yours, so you lost whatever respect you would have had if you had just stated "I prefer planned wars" and the same goes for Junio (granted in a much different way). People will respect it, as long as if you respect them.

Uberstein
Actually, that's only to the people that abuse it. Example, you ignored all "Nords" when you did yours, so you lost whatever respect you would have had if you had just stated "I prefer planned wars" and the same goes for Junio (granted in a much different way). People will respect it, as long as if you respect them. Actually, I was talking about the Molakian war. I even tried to contact him to tell him that all he needed to do to have the war walk have a civil OOC discussion with me for 15 minutes, yet it seemed somebody (not going to name names) on IRC had riled him up to a point where he wouldn't even accept to discuss what we both had OOC so we could RP properly and not accidentally godmod. Unplanned wars just load to arguments, and I find it absurd that people will resort to petty arguments of "You HAVE to recognize it or you're gone" if the defending player is just asking for an OOC discussion before things get silly. It isn't much to ask to just have a discussion like two civilized people OOC. I've even unblocked Martens from my MSN, why? Because while I may disagree with him in many many areas, it is still possible to discuss things in a civil manner. And I stand by my decision to ignore all of the Nordic Socialists up until I stopped ignoring them, it was an effective way to relieve unnecessary stress and nobody was really effected negatively by it. The NordSocs didn't have to hear my OOC and IC arguments against them, I didn't have to deal with the general belligerent and disrespectful actions of the NordSocs, it was a temporary measure to ensure my sanity without completely leaving CNRP. In that case, Molakia should have talked about it to at least know what you both have. Heck, most RP'ers are not so absurd as to not be civilized OOC to discuss what each side has.
