Zarfef Posted June 17, 2009 Report Share Posted June 17, 2009 As war had broken out in the GNR, the Aether Empire decided to take the opportunity to launch its first offensive... in product capitalism. A Tensor Industry ship rolled up and contstruction vehicles and crew rolled out amidst the chaos where-ever battle lines were drawn and began to build, putting together small burger joints around Europe at a speed that would only be put to shame by Arizona Land-Developers creating cookie cutter houses (who could put together entire blocks of houses within a single week before the housing crash they helped baloon). Quickly a sign was raised and the smell of grease sweet grease poured out over the battlefields bringing beauty to over-shadow the ugly smell of corpses. Zuk Burger was OPEN FOR BUSINESS! With hamburger value meals starting at the sensationally good price of $4.50 (not seen since the 90s!) and Von Zuk's secret burger recipe was truly something to die for, it would surely be a great hit with the squad after a long day in the trenches! On one side of the building was risen the flags of the GNR, on the other, the massive agglomeration of nations who declared WAR on the GNR and in the middle sat the Aether Empire flag. Grunts, techs and officers from both sides were welcome and could eat food at these battlefield locations at a low price and taste that beat out MREs any day! The only stipulation is that they had to leave their guns and weapons on their battlefield side of the door before entering. Inside metal bulwarks blocked out radio transmissions so they could eat, drink and be merry together as regular citizens while chatting and discussing their lives for a little break from hating each other before returning to combat. It was a malice free zone, a singular paradise within the battlefield! And hopefully it would make some cash too... So come on by and purchase a burger and fries or substitute a taco salad for those on a lighter diet! At Zuk Burger! OOC: And you thought I was joking.... And yes, if you want to RP what would happen if Nord and anti-Nord alliance forces came together at a restaurants and held a discussion without actually killing each other (violence is not allowed in Zuk Burger beyond comic teasing) this would be the place to do it. It also gives those who want to RP out the more human side of their soldiers to come in and discuss matters with the other side without interfering with the philosophies of the higher ups that order them around to kill each other. There are barbecues outside too if you want to grill up some other type of meat (like lama) other then hamburger! So stop by and grab a bite to eat (because you know that fresh food on the battlefield is a rare commodity ) But remember, no violence allowed, all restaurants are run by New York cab drivers, who don't take any shenanigans.
