draov Posted March 27, 2009 Report Share Posted March 27, 2009 The bans that were handed down have nothing to do with this occurrence, but with the continual disrespect and BS passed around our channel by a few people, you break our rules you will be banned end of story, and if you try and get your friends to remove the ban for you they get banned to its not like its different anywhere else in CN, fact is that only you and a few of your friends ever manage to be Banned from #ARES where as the rest of the players seem to have no problem acting civil. here is a fact for you: No one ever talks in #ARES but me and the people who have been banned. While you may dissagree, the rest of the government of ARES and those that are in my channel lagitamatly tend to agree, from what I hear, that your bans were justified. Barix9 Posted March 27, 2009 Report Share Posted March 27, 2009 Alright if you want to play the log game, I can go dig up the logs from the night before which is why you were banned, These logs, are those from this morning, where you unbanned yourself using the /CS Unban #ARES command before I removed your hops, also taking it upon yourself to add you and others to the Except list of a channel that was not yours to avoid being able to be banned. Willaim Kreiger Posted March 27, 2009 Report Share Posted March 27, 2009 In the end ARES is completely justified in banning whoever they want from their channel. It is their channel. You lost all rights to be in #ARES when you left ARES. It is now a privelage to be in there, as a representative of another alliance. You should remember that before getting into a very public argument. If you truly wanted back into #ARES, and didn't want to just make a huge drama scene, you should have gone about this a different way. If that hadn't worked you cut your losses and find another place to hang out, it's not that hard. Being in an alliance's channel is not a right, it's a privelage. You lost all rights to be in #ARES when you left ARES. It is now a privelage to be in there, as a representative of another alliance. You should remember that before getting into a very public argument.If you truly wanted back into #ARES, and didn't want to just make a huge drama scene, you should have gone about this a different way. If that hadn't worked you cut your losses and find another place to hang out, it's not that hard. Being in an alliance's channel is not a right, it's a privelage. Lets start this again.
