Myalam Posted October 10, 2007 Report Share Posted October 10, 2007 I have Aluminum, Cattle, Pigs, Coal, Iron, Lumber, Marble, Oil (default), Rubber (default), Wheat, Spices and Wine.Bonuses are: Construction, Asphalt, Automobiles and Steel. It gives me a nice overall mix I find, population increase, infra reduction, happiness/income increase. However Spices and Wine are just fillers, till I can find a fish and water trade. Shingen Posted October 12, 2007 Report Share Posted October 12, 2007 you should only have oil and rubber if you plan on getting asphalt and autos , otherwise drop them for pop boosters, or something else that gives good happiness boost combos. I actually reworked my trades and now I only have three bonus resources, however, my economy is considerably better. Generally, when you attempt to achieve the most bonus resources, you must sacrifice the population bonus multipliers (cattle, pigs, fish and wheat). Sorry, but I'll take the added population any day. However my trades are holding up well at the moment and one of my trades has lasted like 3 months .I'll stick with this because trades are unreliable. I have exactly one and I make more money with this trade setup then any amount of bonus resources could give me. The "mass bonus goods" trade combos all totally and utterly suck.
