Chairman Cao
Trivial one here but worth reporting anyway. I got an event recently that decreases total land area by 5%, and while the land area is shown as it should be, the resulting population is not affected at all even though it should be lowered by a very small amount. My total population is currently 28548 which by my calculations is exactly correct for the UNmodified land area (which would be 320.309), whereas it should be 28544 for the modified land area. I'm basing this not just on the difference in population, but on the full calculation for population based on environment, infra, land, soldier count, improvements and resources which I've used in the past and has been exactly correct. So basically the event land mod is affecting land area as it should but not subsequently affecting the population count. Edit: I should point out that by population I am meaning citizen count here, sorry if it was misleading. raskull
I recently reported this same bug here and thedestro pointed out that it was reported even earlier here (in relation to the battle system). It also doesn't affect the 1:2 land:infra ratio environment bonus. In short, it seems to have just about no negative effect on on your nation aside from lowering your displayed land area. (I guess we really shouldn't be complaining though.)
Chairman Cao
Fair point, it does make the event a little pointless though.
