Thorr
depends on a lot of things like infra level etc. Upkeep on infra is very high at higher levels. Also it would be better to have wheat instead of fast food's spice. 4 happiness for me is way less than 8 percent citizens. But this varies on wonders you own etc. I have a lot of wonders so every citizne matters.
Mirreille
If you are talking about which set just makes the most $$, clearly the first set seems better at that. $41 of extra money base vs. $25.5? Even with 3% pop less, you should make lots more $$ with the first set. If you are talking about which is best overall, that is probably a different story. Not having lumber in the first set is a big $ number I would imagine when you look at infra upkeep costs. Kaiser
Fast Food, Constuction and Beer.
General Witz
Fast Food, Constuction and Beer. FF, Const and Beer is the best long term set, especially while still buying infra, but I think the Affluent, FJ and Fast Food set gives the highest raw income. Do the math with your nation's current income and expenses to work it out. Edited April 5, 2008 by Ivegottheskill

Syzygy
strange. FF+FJ+AP+Steel would be: Iron+Coal+Gold+Gems+Silver+Fish+Furs+Wine+Cattle+Pigs+Sugar+Spices = 12 resources. You want to tell me that a setup without wheat is #1 in collection? Never. His nation makes with the Constr+Beer+FF setup: $2,702,386.30 profit per day and he could buy 55infra daily for that profit. His nations makes with the FF+FJ+AP+Steel setup: $2,932,524.61 profit per day and he could buy 47infra daily for that profit. There are better setups, even if he wants only to collect tax: One he would make: $2,955,751.21 proft per day and could buy 51infra daily. Or one he would make: $3,008,251.63 profit per day and could buy 49infra daily. Or one he would make: $3,023,389.16 profit per day and could buy 49infra daily. LeVentNoir
Please, tell us what the combo for the 3rd one is?
Thorr
Well first, wheat instead of spice in the first set is much better. Fast food bonus is lost and the spice bonus but wheat gives 8 percent citizen which is more than 4 happiness. Then on the second set forgetting beer and construction get gems and silver or wine loosing alum and marble. This gives you a lot more happiness than the beer 2 happiness. When you are ready to buy infra you then drop the gems/silver or wine and get someone to trade temporarily with you alum and marble and buy your infra thus keeping the benefit of the infra reduction then go back to your original trader of gems / silver or wine. Thus none of the selections you gave are optimal. Edited April 13, 2008 by Thorr
