Dillon1102 Posted August 12, 2014 Author Report Share Posted August 12, 2014 The Capital of Eugene has officially been merged with neighboring city of Springfield making Cascadias capital, Springfield. With the merger of the twin cities a census was taken revealing the combined population to just be peaking over a million at 1,003,526 residents. VI and VII have been merged into the Cascadian 3rd army and have been ordered to move into Alaska's old territory as a protectorate has been declared. The 3rd army has been given three primary objectives, First to return all communication towers from Vancouver-Anchorage to working standards, Quell all riots and illegal activity, and lastly discover the cause of the fall. Aggressivenutmeg Posted August 13, 2014 Report Share Posted August 13, 2014 Several weeks ago, King Judas I Horn had been killed in a suicide bombing by a militant atheist and member of the terrorist organisation Atheists Against Religious Rule. The bomber struck as the King was leading a religious procession through the streets to mark Saint Herman's Day. Witnesses say that the terrorist shouted "FOR SCIENCE!" before detonating his improvised explosive device. The death of the King led to much internal fighting within the Clerical and Government hierarchies over who would succeed him. Unfortunately, this infighting led to open violence and civil strife. Upon receiving, opening, and reading the news he fell into his chair. Another king... Murdered... by the type of people he supported, Atheists. It was time for change, and recognition. Dillon1102 Posted August 15, 2014 Author Report Share Posted August 15, 2014 (edited) After multiple years of designing, building, and testing Stahlrim Weapons, Naval Division has launched its new class of cutters. The new class of cutters named the Defender class, are based off the US Legend Class. The class was chosen as the basis of the design because of it's ability to conduct operations anywhere, and that ability has given it the number one spot on protecting Cascadia from piracy, drug smugglers, and anything else that is dangerous to her people. Launching alongside the seven cutters are 150 Long Range Interceptor Craft. Two MH-60 Jayhawk Helicopters will be outfitted on each Defender Class Cutter, alongside two of the aforementioned Long Range Interceptor. Defender Class Cutter sailing to its home port of Victoria, Vancouver Island. CCGS Defender CCGS Bonher CCGS Oliver CCGS Horo CCGS Seahawk CCGS JED CCGS Triyun The 150 Long Range Interceptor Craft will be disseminated to coastal cities all over Cascadia. Although she has just passed away the position of Minister of Health has been transferred to Ms. Ann Perkins. It is expected she will be a great Minister of Health. Dillon1102 Posted October 8, 2014 Author Report Share Posted October 8, 2014 With the winds of war brewing on the other side of the atlantic in Europe the Cascadian military leadership decided it was time to reorganize the navy. The first order of business was to pump in more monetary funds as well as resources to complete the ongoing warship project within the month. This was probably the most crucial part of the navy as currently it only consisted of four corvettes and a frigate. With new ships comes new personal, a boost in recruiting has been occurring for the last two weeks and has managed to recruit an additional 10,547 personal, bringing the total to 25, 678. The Frigates CNS Tacoma and CNS Boise along with a new corvette the CNS Klammath, have all floated out of drydock and are being outfitted with weaponry.
