Lynneth
Onto the podium walked the representatives of the to-be republic, Otto Molina and Roxana Baldetti, chosen due to their state being the most populous and richest. Molina began to speak. Declaration of the formation of the United States of Central America "Ladies and Gentlemen, for a long time have we toiled and worked in the protectorate of Mexico, our dear, but sadly dissolved friend. We, the states of Yucatan, Belize, Guatemala, Hondura, El Salvador, Nicaragua, Costa Rica and Panama have thus gathered together in an amazingly small timespan to discuss the repercussions of this. Together, we have decided that the best course of action would be to create one state, to protect ourselves and our peoples. Our deepest thanks go to the Hudson Bay Federation for its quick intervention in the region to secure the peace. And we thank them for granting us the right to govern ourselves, not bound to anyone under a protectorate. It is thus that I declare our intention to formally create a confederation of allied and united states in this our region, Central America. I hereby proclaim the formation of the United States of Central America, Ladies and Gentlemen. Thank you" With both bowing, smiling into the cameras, the audience began giving them a standing ovation - all of them being representatives of the various states of the new confederation, greatly approving of the declaration. All throughout the states, a holiday and 3 days of celebration were proclaimed, millions going into the streets to celebrate their independence. Tanis777
Announcement from Hudson Bay Ministry of Foreign Affairs "Our swift work in Latin America to ensure the well-being of the region's people has bore it's first fruit today. Our dealings with local leaders in Central America beyond Mexico proper has quickly blossomed into an official declaration of existence and sovereignty. The Welks administration has agreed the best course of action with Latin America was for the Latin Americans to decide themselves, and today, we congratulate this group of people on their road to prosperity and liberty! Until the official formation of armed services, Joint Latin American Operation forces will remain in country to provide token security arrangements until the time approaches for departure. We urge our fellow nations of the world community on simple recognition of sovereignty for USCA. Thank you everyone and good night."
