At no point do we condone the takeover of another members account for ones own gain. I sincerely doubt any member of any alliance would be seen as doing well if they left their alliance in relatively bad faith and two weeks later logged into an account using a password obtained through a nation they babysat months ago, and used that information for their gain. The intent could not possibly have been any good after this step. Regardless of personal feelings of the matter, the act of espionage was committed. Had Emily been forthcoming about the incident (Which was not the case, as earlier logs indicate, stating that she was receiving these threads from a mysterious person, and a tidbit about how an alliance we personally hit a rough patch with had these screenshots too..) I don't believe the punishment would've been zi. However, that wasn't the case and since then all sorts of accusations have been blown about. I dare say this is less about the MHA or Emily now in the thread and more about people arguing. Emily, I don't think you're a bad person, just that you seriously lack judgment. And no one here hates you, just think you really messed up.

She left in bad faith, then two weeks later...compromised another member who trusted her to babysit her nation a few months back by logging into their account (Using their password). She then denied specifically to government members and brought up the threads by saying someone had given her screenshots, not "being forthcoming" about any part of the situation. Which doesn't matter in the least. By the first two points alone, there's nothing GOOD that could've come from her doing what she did. OOC: Hopefully they don't have a paypal.

What exactly is the concern here? That ZI is not a justifieable punishment for spying? I don't see how our alliances word doesn't amount to the word of someone who has admitted spying, and went through the means of accessing another members account without their permission to do so. That claim has yet to been proven. The only reason given for how she had access to our forums is through permission to babysit another members nation, a few months ago. That does not allow her to violate their trust and use their private information, and/or passwords, to access our boards. All evidence points to her accessing the boards through this account, and not informing us. Her "source" has not been revealed, and we were never privy to it. I don't know how we could act on information we don't have. We acted on the information we had, that she was in talks with another government over files on our board when the only evidence we had was matching forum accounts :/ I don't think there's a question if she spied or not. The thread that she had concern for was determined to not be of an excessively demeaning or hateful nature, and thus, was kept open, in our own private forum. It was a member expressing their opinion. We don't censor here.

What's there to prove? You left MHA with problems that you said you have with government. You accesed information you were NOT supposed to, went around claiming that there was serious wrongdoings in the MHA, and that you were sent them from a spy, when IN FACT, you WERE the spy. THEN your defense is that a few months ago you let MHA government know you were babysitting a nation. BABYSITTING A NATION DOESN'T INCLUDE FORUM ACCOUNTS. She was talking about a specific thread and later admitted to another government member of having access. I immediately was concerned and we checked and indeed found a Multi. Emily was NOT a member and had left with some private wrinkles of her own with government of the MHA, and thus her intentions were questionable. This is a reminder to everyone. By no means do we permit non-members to view our internal alliance interworkings. Also, I understand many could see this as being harsh. We would've handled this differently if we felt there was naturally good-willed intent, but there was an abscence of it. So naturally we treated this spy no differently than any other. She was trying to get the MHA to take down and move around private internal matters that should not be discussed on the OWF. Contrary to her stance of not wanting such information to cause pain, in doing so she brings up the very thread she didn't want discussed. It's ironic really.

No one knew about it. You used the information you procured to stir up some **** and only THEN when you knew you were probably in trouble did you make an effort to contact anyone. You even had the gall to attempt to blackmail MHA government. What part about informing someone after you shoot them makes it okay?
