I don't see that anywhere in the posted writ of surrender.
Well, there you go folks.
NPO got hidden terms, as well. That should officially satisfy everyone.
-
TORN was a treatied ally of MK prior to the war...
And as for who does and does not pay reparations, that's not something for one man alone to decide. There are more variables to consider than just the motivation for TPF to fight this war, namely their past history as well as their time they spent in this conflict. I have my own opinion, and I'll see what can be done, as mhawk knows, but your public *****ing won't really accomplish a damn thing.
Not even give him any attention?
Come now, Archon, at least be honest with yourself in admitting you only are giving the attention seeker his sustenance.

Counter my points with reasoning or don't quote my posts. Thanks.
Hardly not using logic.
Rather I was pointing out the only logical reason you could have said what you did.
That requires critical thinking, the basis of logic.
-
The issue that TPF put friends before infra and defending their ally until the end? As opposed to you know, the issue of an alliance starting a war then bailing on all their allies, because that alliance is definitely worthy of being your ally (talking about TORN, obviously)
You have no credibility.
Someone once said "Quit saying things for shock value"
He was wise.
Also, Chron, how the heck do I both disagree and agree with you at the same time. I agree that NPO should get a clean slate in terms of foreign relations. However, they do not deserve a blank check of confidence. Also, Ivan kindly admitted recently that he started it, so tongue.gifGrr....Foiled again by WAE.
That being said, there's a difference between a clean slate and common sense. And while Im hoping folks have the sense to differentiate, Im...Frankly not gonna hold my breath.
-
GATO history proves that
To be fair, GATO started it.
And is an excellent case study for why folks should be forgiven for their sins after one beatdown.
-
I meant the alliance as a whole.
You know, the alliance he leads. Too bad you cowards didn't follow his example.
Nice save?
/busts out laughing

Justice is subjective.
It certainly is.
But to be fair, when talking about "guilt" one kind of needs to use logic in assigning that.
-
You make them pay the harshest reps in history and don't forgive their passed actions?
What do they have to do?
I believe someone said "disband and never reform again".
To which I can only respond:
"lawl. Quit wishing the NPO was as weak as your alliance was."
Fact of the matter is, some people are gonna hold grudges for the most illogical reasons.
-
They are hardly "Draconian". Draconian would be secret terms, banning leadership, viceroys, indefinite loss of nukes, etc. All things the NPO has no problem with. This isn't even close to harsh.
This, a thousand times this.
They arent !@#$%^&* terms. They are equivalent to the crime.
Chron is satisfied.

Congratulations to Pacifica for Peace.
Now it's TPF's turn.
-
Damn, I miss ol' King Justin.
[ooc]Almost forgot how much satisfaction he took in taking advantage of the grandfather exception to multis from back then[/ooc]
-
wait, ur job is listed as Marauder of Peace? does this mean you are a lie?
It certainly does.

Anyone else wanna impugn our credibility?

This is correct. Our government was set up so that KasMage and Zocane could call all the shots. Technically, I still answer to them, but neither of them are around to issue instructions. I'm not cut out for real leadership, and Phetion's coup sorta worked; I lost about 4 members to his efforts. I'm just gonna try and hold it together a few more weeks in hopes that Kas's (OOC: ability to access the internet regularly) improves.
If your alliance is crippled by one person's inactivity, no matter who it is, there is something inherently wrong there.
If you were in the NSO, frankly, you wouldnt have that problem.
-
I just did!
Some ally, hiding behind semantics to mask your intentions.
Wait...we're the Sith...
/facepalms
Got mixed up there. Sorry Jedi, it happens.

If anyone can bring back the CIS, it's you Gen Beagle. Keep at it until there's nothing left, and keep your head up.
I think the issue at hand is that they may very well be at that point.
-
*snaps his fingers*
Damn, so close!
Well, they say that internal drama is a surefire way to spark interest. So good luck there.
-
I would have spied on the NPO back in 06/07.
What about being rude and taking advantage of the NSO's inherent generosity?
-
Yo Ender, thanks for the shoutout.
I was looking forward to butting heads with you and others more often in the future, but I guess that may not be a possibility now if you all keep leaving. But a word of advice for you;
If you are leaving because you can't take the political crap (and I was ran out of this game over it), give it a few weeks, months, even a year. But you'll miss the community, and the folks who you considered friends will probably remember you.
So when you come back, it'll feel as if you never left.
And I'll be waiting to mess you up, and make up for lost time. With interest.

Not let my younger brother destroy my second PC. Therefore allowing me to join Vox and NSO back when it first formed...*sigh* I really would have loved to be a part of Vox during that period.
Actually...PC, Car, my 360...My younger brother breaks a lot of my !@#$.
Hrrm.
Edit: Probably shouldn't have allowed myself to be ran out to begin with. I had a standing offer to join Polar from before that went down, but Im sure Sponge would have taken me just to spite Dilber and Moo. Shoulda taken advantage of that, instead of becoming addicted to WoW and thus causing my PC's CPU to melt from overheating, thus making it a moot point.
Aw well. Polar has always struck me as good people, too.

Hate to say I told you so, but...Yeah I did.
/insincere condolences
As far as what you folks can do now, I can only echo Dark Lord Dopp's sentiments.
-
Well that was a secret. Ever heard of OpSec? Hmm?
Hahahahahahahahahaha.
No.
-
Hmm, I wonder what it was that STA has been doing the past two and a half years then.
Oh, come now, Tyga, you know better than anyone that youve simply been playing Lapcat to Ivan for years.
Hes the real ruler of STA.
-
I really, really hope my alliance's membership isnt so misinformed about realities that they honestly think our Dark Lord was a major player in the Hegemony's downfall.
Im sure they were just being sarcastic, though. If they werent, then god help them, then.

Hail The Rebel Virginia. He possesses great wisdom in seeking to rid our planet of this ugly duckling menace. Mere sycophantic peace terms are clearly not enough of an act of penance.
Hail.

Everyone likes to feel important.
Even the irrelevant. Sileath is living proof of this fact.
Perhaps Xiphosis was simply trying to rally support in some ill-conceived bid for dominance? Clearly he failed if this surrender agreement was reached.
