  1. We're at war - give us a breather, a bottle of water, and we'll sprint right by.
  2. I love reading the commentary and trying to guess what alliance the updater is in. Because for some alliance's, it's a little more... shall we say, "slanted" than others Though, I will admit... the more confronting commentary is still amusing to read. On days that the GGA does well, that is.
  3. Or if all of red were controlled by a single... wait.
  4. Cue or queue. Choose Poor IRON, btw. That was a most unexpected drop.
  5. They went to all the trouble to outsource it - one would HOPE that it'd work out.
  6. So that's where all those GPAers went
  7. I'm an astrophysics major, and even I thought that was nerdy.
  8. TC is full of lotz of win. Lots and lots of it.
  9. One alliance falling does not the Green-team's destruction make. The process of the Green teams descent has been a slow and steady one, seen over the past few months by anyone keeping tabs on the Sanction race. The loss of the GGA's sanction was not good, and the GPA's future loss will not be either. Still, is there any alliance on green as well connected as GGA? Or anyone that doubts the uber-amazingness of the Grämlins? Or people that don't hail VE as impressive for coming back from total disbandment? Sanctioning - that's great. But basing the success of an alliance off that was more appropriate a year or two ago when the game was still young. Now that the additional levels of game-play have developed, it's foreign affairs, an OWF presence, and basic skill that make or break an alliance. So in general, I don't mourn the green team at all. She'll do fine on her own, don't you worry.
  10. Yay - GPA's not the biggest loser today Well at least not here. And not loser in the "You're such a loser" capacity.
  11. It is notable that this usually happens because of war. It seems like alliances (with a few exceptions, I know) rarely fall out of grace willy-nilly. There seems to be a reason for it... a conflict or "scare." At least we know that CN players aren't ALWAYS as fickle as they seem
  12. Can we finally change the tag at the end of NATO. It's been there for weeks, and it makes me violent.
  13. Good luck, y'all. They'll definitely put up a fight
  14. We down 13 points since the last update. Also, for those keeping track, we're down 5 million NS and 300 members. Times are good, no?
  15. We dropped like 9 points since the last update.
  16. The commentary (anti-GPA) is expected. Honest, and probably true, but expected.
  17. Much to MCXA for eating all those score-roids.
  18. But despite the Grämlins' loss, the GPA and GGA managed gains. .23 and .11 respectively seem pretty "good" for a day, right?
  19. I want to add that 3 out of 5 of these issues are technical. All but #5 are out of the control of the moderators (well... #3 kind of is, but isn't). They can't do anything to protect the game. It's all on the players to create enough drama to spark interest... without pushing people out of the game. Given the steady state of the OWF, inter-alliance politics, and developments/updates on game play, I'd say we're at a healthy place between both extremes.
