Well, just suggestions. Your government is a bit fat.
There are 7 non-gov congress members (going off your charter), which means you vote for 15 people. Finding 15 highly skilled people with nonslip shoes in even a large alliance is a tricky task.
You also have too much 'churn', that is, turnaround of staff. Congress votes every month? Ministers every two months? What? When a week is taken up by the electoral process?
No more than three terms for your effective leader? The old Legion had a similar churn and the complaints we got were that other alliance leaders never got to have a long term relationship because the faces kept changing.
I know from bitter experience that elections for so many people become avatar judging competitions all too often.
All this is meant in a friendly spirit, I hope your replies share that same spirit.
Hymenbreach speaks the truth. The systems in place most likely intended to protect the people's freedom have more of an effect of disabling the alliance in various ways. This isn't the real world, and ways that mimic it aren't necessarily effective in this sort of reality.

For one thing, we wouldn't have the legal multis that many of the old timers still hang on to.
I don't see that as being much of an issue any more. Most of the players who took advantage of that are gone or lost one or more of their nations in the mean time, and there are only 106 nations in the entire game left now created before one nation per player was an enforced rule.

Funny you should come here and say I am arguing for the sake of arguing when Umbrae has already admitted he did indeed make the posts I referenced (read above, he said he made them but I supposedly "dramatized" their contents). This leads me to the conclusion that most of the people I argued with before had no idea and did not even bother to ask him whether he made the said posts or not, and just straight went to denying it.
You said that those of us who are in the NPO could search for these posts around that time and find them. I searched, because I was interested in whether it was true or not. I found nothing of the sort, as I stated earlier, and I found a lot of posts by him. I did not explicitly deny it (I don't feel it's my place to make statements like that on behalf of another individual unless they've asked me to do so), although my recollection about what you were referring to was more about how to keep the NPO fighting in case of another major war, and not about an alleged threat from FAN.
I will tell you though that if FAN was seen as a target to be re-engaged, it wouldn't have been posted anywhere you could see it. We make an actual effort to prevent leaks of information.
So...your argument holds no substance. This leads me to the conclusion that you have no idea and just went straight to stirring up trouble over nothing.

No fair. I have three mid-level positions and don't get to know that stuff.
In any case, I made a search for these alleged posts. I couldn't find anything around that time that was anything like what West of Eden suggests, although I found many posts by Umbrae, many of which were fairly positive in nature. Even my recollection over what he is referring to was not anywhere near as drastic as what is being stated here. I'm sorry, but if this is your argument, it fails badly.

I have something to confess to the world right now. The New Pacific Order has been secretly plotting to attack the New Polar Order in an amazing strike over the night of June 31, for two reasons:
They do not support our genocide.
They're becoming too independent. The NpO is a Blue colony intended to displace the NAAC, and not a sovereign alliance and soon they will learn this.
Also, for the OP who was not paying attention, it was not MCXA and GGA who recently were sanctioned. It was CDS and ICP.
