  1. It is true that the infra reduction is more important when in anarchy than happiness. Happiness effect is half as effective but the infra reduction is always full effect on saving your bills. Thus for military purposes the power plant would be best but I figured the NEO would make you more money as long as you don't get anarchied in the next 30 days. I was saying you change all 4 resources then only focus on getting coal and Marble back, when you are ready to buy infra, never get oil and rubber again. Then the power plant would probably be even closer to the NEO as it is for me, but my numbers are estimates not very accurate as Syzygy
  2. I know recently it was changed so you had to have 20 percent in real soldiers or your people wouldn't be happy. The part that wasn't changed is the pollution from having a high efficiency vs citizens. I would think it should be a high soldier count vs citizen. It is now possible to get that pollution from simply having 20 percent in soldiers with a lot of boosts to soldier efficiency. I bought guerrila camps and I lost half a star because I did so. My only problem is if I buy the pentagon drop the guerrilla camps which I will do anyways and pickup Alum like I was thinking of doing and my barracks and I could be pushed into this pollution with basic 20 percent of my citizens in soldiers that is without the guerrilla camps. I hear it is you are suppose to be able to have up to 59 percent of your citizens in soldiers before that pollution effect starts. Or the bug is due to the soldier efficiency is being added into my population per mile somehow instead of my soldier count. My population per mile shows only 46.63 and I have water so I wouldn't think that is causing the extra pollution but could be. I know for sure I buy guerrilla camps and I am recieving a 1/2 star pollution and I sell them and it goes away. I am just wondering if this is meant to be that way or it is a bug.
  3. I also know it is very hard to drop multiple trades and get other back but to change out one isn't hard. You can have one extra offer trade thus you tell someone with Marble / coal to send you that trade even though you are full of trade and until they do you don't drop anyone you already have. That is why I said you only should worry about the marble/coal and not the others. Once the trade is in place you cancel your money maker for as long as it takes to buy infra accept the new offer buy the infra cancel the offer and resubmit the trade back to your money maker trader.
  4. Example 1 percent cit is 220,000 for me and 2.00 or 1 happiness is 188,000 plus polution for me to clean up with a border wall I still loose 50,000 but this may not be for you then infra bills is 166,000 per 1 percent so sugar makes me 848,000 uranium makes me 465000 due to polution plus reduces 3 % infra so 498,000 and saves on nuke bills I don't know nuke bills with 20 nukes Uranium out performs sugar alot if holding onto nukes now the wonders comparison power plant 5 percent reduction or 880,000 well 890,000 with the minor other effects. Neo gives 660,000 from more people and saves 498,000 for 1,158,000 approx Thus Neo is like 300,000 more but uranium is almost 300,000 more also. Seems almost a tie for me but your higher infra could be that the cost reduction is even more important thus power plant and uranium.
  5. I would require a lot more information to decide that. How much does sugar effect. How much is half your nuke bills as having the uranium trade saves you that much. How much is your infra bill reduced with 5 and 3 percent infra reduction. Basically they are both extremely close.
  6. It is only a 1/2 star pollution so it isn't huge but I wonder if it is a bug as simply having a high efficiency shouldn't cause pollution. If I get all the trades that boost soldiers and have all barracks and pentagon and other things I will have to be polluted just keeping 20 percent of citizens in soldiers which seems wrong. I know they was changing this recently as you didn't even need 20 percent of citizens in soldiers you only need 20 percent in efficiency to keep your people happy.
  7. I know for a fact my environment is affected by buying the guerrila camps as it was perfectly clean and if I sell them it goes away. Guerrila camps don't polute the only thing it does is reduce your income and add more soldier efficiency. With my efficiency higher than my citizen count I am recieving polution. My soldier count is way lower than my citizen count but my efficiency is higher. So does this mean there is a bug?
  8. Noone knows why soldier efficiency causes pollution? Do you think it is suppose to be just if you have a lot of soldiers not if you have a high efficiency thus maybe a bug?
  9. well resources you should get rid of oil rubber and coal and get uranium gems and pigs. Then after stock piling a ton of cash grab your current resources buy a ton of infra then return to the uranium gems and pigs. Also forgot to mention loosing marble for spice. So drop oil rubber coal marble for uranium spice gems and pigs to boost your money making ability a ton. Then when you want to buy infra you can always get those resources but this process does require a lot of work. I would only go for marble coal to regain construction and steel when buying up infra.
  10. The only difference will be if your stockpiling nukes which you are Sayton. Thus the power plant is better. The extra money from Uranium as a money maker 5.50 (7.50 - 1 happiness) and the extra 2 percent reduction in infra upkeep will out do the 3 percent citizen boost. For me on the other hand I am not stockpiling nukes using uranium as a pure money maker plan to buy nukes and launch them as I need them it would be better the other way.
  11. Well first, wheat instead of spice in the first set is much better. Fast food bonus is lost and the spice bonus but wheat gives 8 percent citizen which is more than 4 happiness. Then on the second set forgetting beer and construction get gems and silver or wine loosing alum and marble. This gives you a lot more happiness than the beer 2 happiness. When you are ready to buy infra you then drop the gems/silver or wine and get someone to trade temporarily with you alum and marble and buy your infra thus keeping the benefit of the infra reduction then go back to your original trader of gems / silver or wine. Thus none of the selections you gave are optimal.
  12. SSS is usually best to get first not the stock market but that depends on how much you make. Though you shouldn't be buying any wonder until around 4000 infra and making a good 2 million a day after taxes. Also stock market and great temple are exact same thing but the temple lets you stop worrying about figuring out which religion your people prefer. I would get the great temple before a stock market.
  13. The only effect is a little loss to happiness as stated above but the benefit is usually a lot more taxes as the extra percents usually brings in more money than the happiness that is lost. Other than that they truly aren't angry just unhappy.
  14. Does anyone know why if my soldier efficiency gets up that I am polluted? Does it have anything to do with that rule if your soldiers are strong it makes your citizens weary? I can have 20 percent of my citizens in soldiers and with barracks and guerilla camps add on I get polluted as my efficiency is high with all the bonuses.
  15. I like my way of using option 2. I drop alum and marble and get gems and wine boosting my cash then I drop gems and wine for one day to get alum and marble and buy a ton of infra thus getting the savings on the infra purchasing then going back to gems and wine. The alum does give beer but beer doesn't compete with gems and wine. Marble gives only infra reduction thus only useful if you are buying infra. So option 2 can give you basically 14 trades instead of just 12.
  16. depends on a lot of things like infra level etc. Upkeep on infra is very high at higher levels. Also it would be better to have wheat instead of fast food's spice. 4 happiness for me is way less than 8 percent citizens. But this varies on wonders you own etc. I have a lot of wonders so every citizne matters.
  17. That is why there is a manhattan project. Also no matter what the formula it is going to be almost the same percent at the top. The exception is very low infra nations now couldn't use tanks and soldiers to get up enough to buy a nuke before they drop back down. They really shouldn't be allowed to do that anyways.
  18. Including the above statement and now that SDI can make them even useless 50 ns is about perfect in my opinion. The NS formula is not for determining the power of a part of your military but for the ability to attack different nations. Infra is more important than anything as it provides the army the money which without these you can't do anything thus if anything Infra needs to be raised up in value while everything else can be lowered. I can see tanks and soldiers being lowered though. I would say raise infra to 10 per level cut tanks and soldier value in half or down to 1/4 of what it is and either leave nukes at 50 or put them to 100 but no more.
  19. http://forums.cybernations.net/index.php?showforum=61 post there if you want to find a trade circle
  20. doesn't land make a difference? It adds people.
  21. Infrastructure Purchased 11,749.90 Daily Infrastructure Cost (Per 1 Unit) $706.54 143,575 Working Citizens Avg. Gross Income Per Individual Per Day: $448.59 (469.35 without labor camps. I always drop labor camps when collecting.) resources : fish and cattle connected resources : gems iron lumber pigs spice sugar uranium water wheat wine Improvements: Banks: 5, Barracks: 5, Border Walls: 1, Churches: 5, Clinics: 5, Factories: 5, Foreign Ministries: 1, Harbors: 1, Hospitals: 1, Intelligence Agencies: 5, Labor Camps: 5, Missile Defense: 5, Police Headquarters: 5, Schools: 5, Stadiums: 5, Universities: 2, National Wonders: Disaster Relief Agency, Foreign Airforce Base, Great Monument, Great University, Great Temple, Internet, Interstate System, National Research Lab, National War Memorial, Social Security System, Stock Market, happiness : 83.66 (88.66 when dropping labor camps) tech : 2355
  22. It doesn't help with GR any more so you may want to double check your nation.
  23. There is a wonder that eliminates the effects against enviroment. Of course you need 13000 infra I think it is. Lumber isn't a must have as you grow but it is very good on bills and infra purchase savings. People doing tech deals should have lumber iron alum marble and 5 factories. Then after 4000 infra to maybe 6000 or 7000 infra could even be as high as 8000 infra then you don't need it but if you plan to keep growing in infra it is still helpful. The only thing that comes close to making as much money as lumber saves me in bills is fish and wheat. I am 11750 infra though. I wonder what others make after bills. I am at 11.64 and I still lack 2 + 3 happiness and the new ones. Not including the new ones once I buy the old 2 then I profit about 12.65 million after bills. Anyone near me want to share how much they make after bills? of course I will buy the new wonder next for 11000 infra which will put me to that same point basically.
  24. I am larger 11750 infra and have those wonders and 1 border wall helps so I am sure at least 1 will help.
