Official Declaration of Existence for the nation of Hokkaido. The people of the island of Hokkaido and southern Karafuto wish to pursue nationhood under full self determination. This is a message from the transitional government, elections for office will procede after plebiscites to determine what type of government will be among other things. Here is a map of the proposed borders brought forth from the plebiscite for independence:

Areas in green are claimed as the territoy of Hokkaido.
