1. Oh why not...

Using a modified version of the Valhalla model:

Regent: TrotskysRevenge
Vice Regent: Archon

Minister of War: Kaiser Martens
Minister of IA: Liberal Extinction
Minister of Economics: Roquentin
Minister of Foreign Affairs: ChefJoe
Minister of Recruiting: ChairmanHal

Council of Advisers: Jerdge, Dilber, Van Hoo III, Ardus, Doitzel

You, recruit?

2. Regardless of how nasty PC got, there was always a soft spot in my old ticker for them.

I guess you are both gonna get some fun.

Also waidafug is Twist not allowed in the sandlot no more?

I am so doggone tempted to remake RAD and activate our MDoAP right now you don't even know. Just for old time's sake.

No dont do that, i dont want to have to have to fight at your side to help Stewie. Hes dirty.
3. Depends on a lot of things. Anything less than 3 million or 50 tech is a waste of a slot, so the actual damages might be lower than the reparations. Depending on the situation you might wish to take the hardnosed approach and insist on "reparations or else", or you might get lucky and the other alliance might release the member for military punishment.

If it is the member of an ally, you might even let the guy off easy (maybe it was a newbie). If it is a member of an alliance that is in an antagonistic alliance (or grouping) then again there might be other considerations that will impact your decisions. Depending on the situation you might wish to push hard or let it go (depending on how war hungry the world is)

4. Emperor: Van Hoo III
Regent: Bad Omen
Minister of War: Chairman Hal
Minister of Economics: TailsK
Minister of Foreign Affairs: Werner Hoffman
Minister of Internal Affairs: USMC123
Minister of Recruitment: Mechasheikh
Minister of Education: Mr. Carbohydrate

5. For some reason this saddens me a lot. TORN may not have been an ally or an enemy to me for an extended period of time, but y ou guys were always around, sort of a constant in the field, a holdover from a happier, more interesting era.

MegaAros
King_Srqt
Van Hoo
TwistedRebel

Thanks for the shoutouts to these guys. Speically the one to Hoo, even though you missed the III

KemMo
Gofast2006
King Wally

Yuck. What kind of losers are these that cant even get a lumberjack sodomy play right.
6. It's a decent analysis. Doch has been around the block many times.

But 1-on-1 (or 1+epsilonNSO-on-1) would be ugly for both sides, and things never go down that way anyways.

Yes, Doch = old fart.

No doubt. Both sides would come out bloody for it. It would make for a fun war but would never go down that way.

No war goes down that way.

7. Polar members and gov continue to find no fault in most of their actions, which would be putting at least some blame on the aggrieved parties for making Polar's actions reasonable or correct to them. I'm not saying this is true for NSO with respect to BiPolar, but it is believable that NpO would give a half-assed or backhanded apology given the track record.

What would it take eh? They did say they take responsibility for it. You cant very well want them to ritually disembowel themselves and then bow. You actually want contrition? A heartfelt apology and acts of redemption? Ramirus much?

edit: eh, seems Grub's post here satisfied you. pfft. so much for my mini tirade. carry on.
8. Like I mentioned in a previous post, a grudge only ends when the other alliance is victorious. Until then, the grudge will only grow and grow. Naturally, with the life cycle of politics around here, their goal will eventually be achieved. What we all benefit from when that happens though, is that that chapter is closed and a new one is opened.

Besides, at this stage, every alliance has lost a war, and majority are still kicking. Losing a war really isn't that terrible if you have a solid foundation to fall back on. Often times, it turns out to be a good thing.

But nobody listen to me, I'm just old and a side hopper. :P

No. There is no new chapter, you are doing it wrong. The side nurturing the initial grudge feels vindicated after winning a war against the hated party, then it is the turn of the defeated party (this time round) to take over the reins of the grudge wagon. That is how the world goes round. Dont you be coming in here and trying to queer the pitch for the rest of us.

You know what is more fun than grudges? Blood Feuds. I wonder if we can start having those now. All part of the evolutionary process, then we can move on to other things subsequently.

Oh boy, how much more frustrating does this all have to be knowing that all this time you've been absolutely cuckolded and powerless to do anything about a grudge you're holding onto simply for a revenge you'll never have the power or clout to effect.

Give it a rest, how pathetic. Forget Kaskus, NSO couldn't defeat Legion, now you want to take on Polaris? Please.

psst. Coalition cough Warfare cough. Nothing like feeling vindicated after getting a bunch of deluded/bored/idle/Adventurer types from the nearest tavern to do your heavy lifting for you. Or if NSO is true to form, busting their nut on the way to the wedding at the random chick at the gas station, and then spending the wedding night wiping stains off of trousers.
9. So Polaris is in a bloc? Wow, nice grouping of the world's most despised alliances, this will make it easier than ever to target them. I am unable to justify that comment in any way because those alliances have always been despised and have always been loosely grouped together, so really nothing much has changed at all I guess but I hate all these alliance with a passion and I wish we had the courage and commitment to end them all, despite our best attempts these bastards just keep rebuilding and defying our best attempts to keep them down. I can hardly wait for someone else to get a party together so I can ride in on the back of the crowd to get me some damages. I am unable of course to do anything by myself at this time as I have a few good excuses saved up and to why I won't be leading the charge. I can not wait to get my shot at these guys though so I will bang on loudly to the cheers of my comrades of convenience and we can all celebrate our own greatness and establish the clever nature of our anti-social position whilst remaining the coolest kids on Bob.

So congratulations XX/Polaris/some other random alliance, your goose is cooked, your gerbel is #$%^ and this time will be the last time that we will fight like this. Death or Glory or something other than either.

Parts of this post reminded me of 12 monkeys, a room, a table, bananas and a cold shower.

So... basically it reminded me of Bobian Politics.
