Yes, we have climbed out from our little hole that we have been living in for the past year or so to give you guys a brief update concerning our government and IRC channel. However first and foremost, we would like to address an issue that has been giving us a bad reputation- our inactivity.
We realize how important it is for an alliance to communicate with the outside world, we recognize that we have failed as an alliance to carry out our duties in that field. We sincerely apologize for those who have not been able to contact us for the past while. We promise that in the future that ARES will not be isolated from the rest of Cybernations, as it was until now. We assure you that no matter how secluded we may have appeared to be, we have still been keeping an eye on what is happening on Planet Bob. Now without further adieu-
We have realized that recently, our IRC channel has been acting strangely, and by acting strangely we mean kicking anyone, including our own members from the channel as soon as they try to join. In response, Cuckoo- one of our members, has set up a new channel that all of you can use if you wish to speak with us. Feel free to visit us at #ARESCN.
Next, we have had a few changes concerning the government in ARES. Jtkode has stepped down from his position as Super Commander (We have yet to change that name) of ARES, and Partymaster has taken the lead. Our current Ministers are:
Foreign Affairs: Redisforever
War: Belkan Federation
Internal Affairs: Currently being elected- GeneralDolan has stepped down.
Lastly, we would like to debunk any rumors that have been passed around of our disbandment- we are happy to delight (or disappoint) you and confirm that we have no intentions of disbanding our alliance. We would like to thank both our enemies and allies, who have made the game interesting and enjoyable, for without them, we really would have disbanded by now, after all, we play the community, not the game.
