We came to Yuktobania because we hear do the unrest and thought that it would be a prefect place to pick up some extra funds and firepower and I am certain that my superiors would be very willing to pay for any weaponary or equipment you could sell us" replied Gregory as he lowered his arms.

The team leader stopped as soon as the men raised their weapons and called out to him, he understood and spoke english well coming from that area of Europe and he smiled as he responded. "Hello there my name is Gregory Jones of the Principality. I don't mean you any harm I just want to talk thats all" Gregory said keeping his hands raised and well away from his weapon.

"Think he saw us?" said the youngest of the team who was also the team's rookie as they trio hugged the ground as tight as they could. "No of course not, not at this distance anyway however, I am going to see if I can't meet with them" replied the team leader as he stood up from his prone position and started to walk towards the Reisse members with his hands raised in the air to show he had no ideas of using his weapon. The other two team members cursed their over eager team leader and moved into cover positions where they could cover their leader in case things went wrong. Still if that did happen it was unlikely that the team leader would make it out alive but they weren't about to let him just walk in unprotected regardless.

Im not tech savvy guy but a lot of the technology in there is theory based so far and suggest that there may be side effects we don't know about but if you could explain the system then maybe people might let you use it or maybe they would let you use it without explanation. You never know . Though id like a mini explanation if thats okay cause solar power in a gun system hads me kind of confused on its effectivness.

Most of the scouting teams had run into nothing of important just empty streets and buildings or discarded materials and belongings which must have been thrown away in a hurry of some sorts however, one team did manage to spot a group of people moving towards some destination somewhere. What made this people interesting however, was that they were armed. The team leader decided it was worth reporting in and retrieved a small radio set from his backpack slipping the headphones over his head he contacted the hideout back at the docks. "This is Rabbit to Mother Hen have sighted unidentified armed people roughly two clicks north of us heading in a southern direction. Possibly came from the other area of the docks. How should we proceed? Over." "Mother Hen here. You are to follow the group but remain out of sight. Recon their movements and equipment. If detected retreat without engaging. Over. "Roger Mother Hen following unknowns now. Over. With that the team leader quickly had the team follow the others they had sighted though they remained out of sight and were able to just keep the unknowns within their line of sight. They travelled for some time and each team member kept an extra eye out for identifable landmarks they could use as waypoints. Eventually the others came to a stop and seemed to set up a hideout in a building which the team members recorded with a simple mobile phone. Shortly after this the unknowns sent a unarmed man towards another building which the team found confusing but they couldn't advance any further ahead so they just stayed where they were and kept watching.

"Did you see that explosion! What the hell is happening out there!!" shouted the watchman ,his protective overcoat soaked from the sea waves, from his post on the top deck of the bridge of the Cargo Ship that the Principality were using to transport themselves to Yukobania. "How the hell am I suppossed to know!!" shouted back his counterpart down on the main deck who was busy shaking his head. Whatever had caused that explosion had given the terrorists of the Principality a cause for alarm and the captain of the ship quickly had their course altered so that the cargo ship headed towards a section of the port that was looking as if it was unoccupied which was perfect for what they intended to do. The ship silently slid into place against the dockside and a number of the terrorists descended on ropes and cargo nets and swiftly had the boat fastened in place which allowed the rest of the terrorists to unload their cargo. The process took a few minutes but eventually they had one hundred armed men on the dockside along with three technicals. The first call of business was to obtain some where more permament as a hideout and looking around they had plenty of warehouses to choose from. Orders were given and teams of terrorists headed out to investigate each nearby warehouse. Most of them were either full of boxes or too small to work as a hideout but then they struck lucky and found a decently sized warehouse which could fit all three technicals and that became their hideout. Whilst the technicals and supplies were moved into the new hideout small teams of three terrorists were sent out into the port area to recon and collect information on the layout and conditions of the area as well as seeing what groups were active in the region. As well as this a small group was dispatched to check out the sight of the explosion seen on entering the port area.

With the hostile situation at home sorted the Council has decided to open communication with its neighbour Acca Dacca. The reasoning was that the nation could never stand alone in the world and it was better for relations to start closer to home than half way around the globe. Therefore a message was sent out to the government of Acca Dacca asking for them to come to diplomatic talks in the Nova Sol Terra capital. They eagerly awaited the Acca Dacca response.

Todays News Production of the BFG-69 rifle to begin. Production has begun on the BFG-69 rifle aka 'the Organ Grinder'. This weapon will become standard equipment for both the military and civilian police forces due to the changes in policing policy to come shortly. The weapon had been described by many as "lethal", "wicked" and "inhumane". The first batch is expected soon. The BFG-69.

Todays News Civil War brought to a swift end In a suprise and swift move Council special forces destroyed key Communist and Democratic targets last night crippling both groups ability to wage war, these attacks were followed by armoured strikes by surviving council tanks supported by infantry and soon had both sides crushed before their might. We thank our brave men and women who risked their lives to gain peace and we mourn those that did die. Communist Leader Ilyvia Harley escapes The raid on the Communist headquarters met little resistance and it turns out that only a small force of soldiers was left behind to destroy what they could though they were easily defeated by our brave soldiers they did make our forces lose enough time for Ilyvia Harley to escape by helicopter. Last reports state that she vowed to gain revenge. The hunt for her continues. Democrat leader to be executed The Democratic leader John Shepard is to be executed by a firing squad later tonight for crimes against the nation including murder and treason. The execution will be broadcasted live at 6:00pm. Don't forget to bring the whole family to watch.

The war needed to end the Council knew this but current fighting styles and plans would mean that the war would drag on for a very long time and increase the chance of them loosing and so they called their greatest military minds together to work out what was needed. Eventually what they came to was the plans for a small highly trained and well equipped force to sneak behind enemy lines and destroy high priority targets. These special forces should force the opposing forces into defeat. So the call went out to the Council military forces for the best soldiers to report back to the capital city where they would be given the best equipment avaliable and from where they would be formed into one force ready for deployment at any time.

My nation is in a three way civil war plenty of oppurtunity for them to set up there.

Second Battle Communists Vs Council The war had now heated up with all sides throwing armour into the mix. These tanks were very improtant to all sides and they couldn't be easily replaced and thus they had to be carefully used and preserved. However, this second battle between the Council and the Communists was actually the very first armour against armour battle in the war and would end with both sides being low on tanks giving the Democrats a small advantage. The battle began when twenty old russian made T-34's of the Communists advanced towards what was expected to be a Council refueling point however, it was in fact a meeting ground for Council armour. The Council having aquired the plans for old german Panzer IV's and had started rushing them into production and currently they had twenty five of them at this meeting point. When the lead Russian tankers sighted the meeting point and realised that it was not a fueling depot as they thought but instead held Council tanks they rushed forwards to engage. The crews however, were inexperienced and most of their opening salvo missed throwing up heaps of dirt or bouncing off the front armour of the Panzers. The return fire from the Council was just as equally ineffective as they had the same inexperience though this would be the first battle of the infamous "Armoured Devil". Within minutes both sides had closed the distance and now their shots were hitting true and one after another a tank on either side would either suddenly halt or explode in a fiery fashion. Seeing that this couldn't continue a small group of Council tanks swung around behind the Communists and managed to fire into their weaker rear armour disabling or destroying quite a few before the survivors fled the area loosing another tank on the retreat. At the end of that battle thirteen T-34's lay destroyed or disabled whilst only eight of the Council's Panzer IV's had suffered the same fate. The survivors of this battle had gained good experience from this and would soon be passing it on so that others could be just as effective. Council Vs Democrat Skirmish Whilst the most aggressive party had been the Communists party so far the Council had decided that the Democrats couldn't be left alone to their own devices and so they despatched a small strike team into Democrat territory to the south with the intention of causing as much damage and harm as possible for this purpose most of the soldiers sent were armed with flame throwers for use in burning down any homes or buildings. The soldiers managed to infiltrate a small democrat supporting village and when the villagers came to see what the disturbance was the Council soldiers opened fire on them with semi-automatic weapons and flame throwers killing and maiming many and scattering the rest. Then whilst the flame thrower soldiers set the houses and other building aflame the other soldiers hunted through the streets murdering anyone they met. It didn't take long for most of the villagers to flee but some of them remained behind to try and fight off the soldiers with what weapons they could find. These brave souls were mostly useless either gunned down before they could reach anyone or killed whilst searching for a weapon though they did manage to kill one or two Council soldiers. The Democratic Freedom Fighters themselves were unable to send any assistance at the time of the attack but this attempt to weaken the resolve of the group only harden it as the tale was spread of the Council barbaric acts with the story getting worse and worse as it was spread so that by the time the Council soldiers had returned to base with their dead almost the whole of the South of the nation was firmly against them and supportive of the Democrats.

Location: The Republic of Nova Sol Terra Commanders: Council Forces: General Sergai June Communist Freedom Fighters: Ilyvia Harley Democratic Freedom Fighters: John Shepard First Battle: Communists Vs Council As with all wars whether they are large or small they all usually begin the same way. With one small conflict. The war that was to come to the Republic of Nova Sol Terra started the same way. When Council military soldiers opened fired on Communist supports in the North of the nation it sparked a wildfire of anger and hatred that quickly grew into a rebellious movement. Determined to eradicate the Council and place the nation under the ideals of Communism the Communist Freedom Fighters sent out a small force to recon the northern Council positions, meanwhile the Council had also sent out a force to recon the Communist positions and these two forces quickly ran into one another and the first battle of the civil war began. The intial contact came when Council forces inside their trucks were moving along highway I41 which in truth was nothing more than a dirt road that had been reinforced with more dirt. As the convoy of three trucks and one jeep rounded a bend passing a nearby thicket of trees they were spotted by the advancing Communist scouts and seeing that they had a perfect oppurtunity they launched an ambush with their automatic weapons. The first hail of gunfire punched into the leading jeep and the front cabin of the first truck, killing the driver of the truck and everyone inside the jeep. The Council solders immediatly responded by leaping out of the soft skinned trucks and taking up firing positions around the vehicles firing short controlled burts at any muzzle flashes or signs of movement. Their fire was mostly ineffective but it did keep the Communists heads down. The amount of incoming fire soon out weighed what the under armed Communists could put out and the leader made the decision to pull back bring their wounded and one dead with them. They managed this quite easily using the trees to hide their movements and the fact that the Council soldiers didn't dare enter the jungle also helped. Eventually both sides withdrew from the area with the Communists retreating to their headquarters in the jungle reporting on the encounter whilst the Council soldiers withdrew after checking the damaged vehicles over and setting the jeep aflame after it was found that its engine was ruined. So ended the first battle of the Civil War but it would not be the last battle, not for a long while.

Update Protests break out into violence, Council forces called in In a sudden move that many on the Council had expected the protests that had been occuring all day suddenly broke out into violence when the two groups of masses realised that their message was falling on deaf ears. Protesters turned rioters fell upon the calm and collected police officers who were simply trying to do their jobs and keep the peace. Current reports state that so far at least four people have been killed and many wounded. Ideas that the police forces opened fire first are to be ignored and forgotten. Meanwhile at both protests The news reports couldn't have been more wrong. Under orders by the Council the police officers fired upon the crowds with tear gas and water cannons injuring many people who had not expected to be met with such brutality. Seeing many of their fellows injured the crowds turned violent and stormed the police officers and it was then that the news crews started their cameras rolling and whilst reports leaked to the media made it sound like everything was under control it was actually looking bad for the police as they were forced to retreat from the far more numerous protesters.

Todays News Protests occur in the North and South Today for the first time in this nation's short life protests against council rule occured in both the north and south though the two protests are not expected to be linked. To the north supporters of communism took to the streets wielding banners and flags demanding that a change be made in favour of communism whilst in the south supporters of democracy took to the streets again asking for change but in the favour of democracy this time. Council response consisted of assigning police forces to both areas of protest where they are currently watching the protest without taking any action.

Todays News Primitive Natives strike construction crews As many Nova Sol Terran's know there are a large number of indigenous people in our nation who have refused citzenship under the leadership of the council instead continuing to follow their primitive beliefs under the leadership of their tribal leaders. They have however, been nothing more than a slight embarrassment to us, until today when a small group of natives attacked a construction crew with bows and arrows as they were trying to lay a new roadway. Yes ladies and gentlemen you heard right these natives have been using bows and arrows and whilst most would find that funny the construction workers did not as at least one man was killed by an arrow to the heart and others wounded. Also in the attack at least two construction vehicles were damaged when their tyres and windows were punctured by heavy bolts believed to have come from some crossbow device. The damage is minimal however, and the equipment still works though it has currently been left unattended until security can be provided for the work crews. In regards to security General Daiz Malon of the army has promised that a small security force of armed soldiers will be stationed at the construction site to ensure that the workers can work in safety. When asked about any plans to remove the natives from the area the general declined to comment.

The diplomat and his team were a bit taken back by the speed of the greeting and then the journey to the embassy, as they travelled to the embassy the team looked out and admired the city around them enjoying the view as best as they could. Once they arrived at the embassy the diplomatic team followed the Blue Heaven diplomat before listening to him as he introduced himself. "My name is Mr John Banks and with me is my assistant Laura Hans and my two guards whose names need not be mentioned. I must say it is nice to meet you Mr Seek and thank you for your greeting is was quite warmly and open considering how little you would know about us" replied Mr Banks.

Todays News Harbour Construction Complete Thanks to the hard work from the employees of Nova Construction Ltd the harbour consturction project has been completed well ahead of schedule. These men and women worked through rain and wind to complete the project and their hard work has really paid off as the harbour has opened for business and plans are underway to work out trade agreements with other nations for the transport of our nations resources. When asked what the future held for the harbour a council spokesman said they hoped to see investments and trade vessels from other nations. Speculations about formation of a military navy force have gone unaswered at this time.

A small twin engine propeller aircraft made its way towards the airport, the craft shaking slightly at the stress of the journey. The aircraft itself was meant for small distance flights not over sea ones but it was the most advanced aircraft in the Nova Sol Terra nation and the council had decided to send it to how they were sending their best to meet with the Blue Heaven people. The pilot swiftly was given permission and he brought the plane down in a gentle decline before landing at the airport, where as soon as the plane had come to halt everyone onboard gave a sigh of relief. Disembarkation didn't take long as the diplomats had very little luggage, just enough for a three day stay in fact, and they were all glad to be off of the airplane. The council had sent a team across which included the diplomat, his personal assistant and two unarmed security guards. The team made their way into the terminal for depatures. collected their luggage and then with one guard in front and one behind made their way outside upon where they looked around for their counterparts from Blue Heaven.

The Republic of Nova Sol Terra News Agency is the only new network functioning within the nation as no other company recieves any funding from the government and even the RNSTNA only recieves a very small amount of funding anyway, they only have one major broadcasting station and so they can only reach at current about 30% of the nation with their broadcasts though work is expected to increase their range so that they can reach all of the nation. Todays News Two day blackouts over Recently the whole nation was on the recieving end of a nasty electrical storm which for two days hovered above most of the nation, where constant electrical strikes shorted out the power in many homes and buildings and when the main hydro electric dam was hit the entire nation was plunged into darkness. Many citizens had to resort to candles and torches for the past two days. Worries about criminal elements taking the darkness for granted were swiftly halted when the police force went on over time to patrol the streets through the rain and cold. This thankfully meant crime rates rose my only a tiny fraction and many long term minor criminals were arrested and judged with many being sent to prison. However, with the electrical storm having now moved away from our nation, the council has issued the engineers of the nation with as much equipment as they require to get the hydro electric dam repaired and going again and it is expected to be running again at full capacity tomorrow. Delegation sent to Blue Heaven The council were surprised this morning to find that a message had been recieved from the nation named Blue Heaven asking for a diplomatic meeting. Whilst this nation is located in North America they are the first people to activly contact us since we announced our exsistance and a diplomatic team should be arriving just now at their international airport. Thank you". -Spokesman for the Republic Council. Government: The Republic of Nova Sol Terra is run by a council of ten men or women who are elected from various areas of the nation and careers. The people are run by the people as it is said and those who wish to gain a place on the council must work hard to show the citizens that they have their interests in mind. Once the ten most highly voted for citizens are worked out they become the council and from that point onwards run the nation as they and the people see fit. When disagreements occur a majority vote is undertaken until one side gains the majority after which the disagreement is passed or failed. Civil Rights: The citizens of the Republic of Nova Sol Terra are granted many rights, such as the choice to marry who they choose as long as they are above the legal age of 18, 16 with parents and child's consent, the right to non destructive entertainment and recreation as well as many others which they expect from the council such as the right to privacy and fair trial as well as protection and security. Economy: The economy of The Republic of Nova Sol Terra is small and under developed due to the lack of resources and funds. The main resources avaliable to the Republic is Aluminmum and Uranium from which they have created a larg number of minor goods with the Aluminmum whilst engineers and scientists look for a way to use the Uranium as a means of power. The infrastructre of the nation mostly consists of dirt roads with one or two paved roads in the major cities. Military The Military of he Republic of Nova Sol Terra is small, under trained and under equipped. The small amount of funds left over from economy and infrastructure means that the nations military force of five hundred and fifty soldiers are equipped with semi-automatic rifles and a few machine pistols whilst they have no means of transport other than a few weather beaten trucks. Future Goals The future goal of the Republic of Nova Sol Terra is to increase its population and income so that better technology may be researched and improvements made to the land. The long term goal that many citizens hope for is to go into space one day and see the world from up there.
