    Who said months? This all happened within days. Green Pieces was the one who posted the screen shots that started this whole mess.

    NPO Foreign Affairs Statement

    Preamble

    Reaffirming their desire to live in peace with all peoples and all governments, and desiring to strengthen the fabric of peace between their respective alliances,

    Desiring further to strengthen their efforts for collective information sharing and mutual aid for the preservation of peace and security throughout the world,

    Upon the signing of this treaty, The Mafia will become a protectorate of the New Pacific Order (NPO).

    ARTICLE I

    The High Contracting Parties obligate themselves to desist from any act of violence, any aggressive action, and any attack on each other either individually or jointly with other powers. The High Contracting Parties declare their intent to resolve any issues between the parties through regular diplomatic discourse.

    ARTICLE II

    The New Pacific Order affirms its intent to provide The Mafia with economic and military support, including the assignment of military and economic advisors, access to proprietary NPO produced information and documents, and financial aid in the form of direct funding, technology, and troops.

    ARTICLE III

    Each High Contracting Party recognizes that an armed attack on either of the Parties in territories now under their respective administrative control, or hereafter recognized by one of the Parties as lawfully brought under the administrative control of the other, would be dangerous to its own peace and safety and declares that it would act to meet the common danger in accordance with its constitutional processes.

    ARTICLE IV

    The Mafia shall not enter into any other diplomatic agreements of any kind with any other alliance or collective security organization without the prior consent of the New Pacific Order.

    ARTICLE V

    The present treaty is concluded in perpetuity, with the proviso that both parties will become unbound from the terms of this treaty seven (7) days after notice of its termination by the canceling party is given in the form of a public pronouncement from a duly elected or appointed leader of the withdrawing High Contracting Party, to be posted on the main RP board of the Cybernations Forums and the respective forums of the High Contracting Parties.

    ARTICLE VI

    This Treaty shall be ratified by the New Pacific Order and The Mafia in accordance with their respective constitutional processes and will come into force when announcements of ratification have been made via public announcement on their respective forums and the Cybernations Forums.

    I wondered who would be the first to move to Black now GOONS aren't really able to enforce their will over it any more. A rolling back of the colour-restriction policies on Black, Red and Green would be a very good thing, so I wish you luck in pioneering the way and I will continue to dream about the NPO opening up Red ;).

    How did he magically get admin, change things, and no one notice for months? This seems a bit circumspect.

    This isnt funny Ivan, Dilber, Vlad, and Trosky have not changed and maybe the admin was right in saying how these threads will mean nothing...

    I believe you get a spy report if it does happen, regardless of whether you know who it is.

    The bug is that the religion changed during two straight updates. which means it can't be changed.

    I've never had it happen, and I've been here since Jan 2006 ;)

    I'm not sure if this is a bug or not, but I've never had this before. The update before the current update last night, my religion had changed to mixed. So I changed it.

    The next update, my religion changed again, and I can't change it, lowering my happiness.

    National Religion:

    Mixed (Next Available Change 10/5/2007)

    Your people approve of this national religion but the majority of your people would prefer something else. They do not believe in a single God but instead believe in oneness and freedom from personal desires.

    National Religion:

    You may change your National Religion once every 3 days. Mixed - You recently changed your national religion and must wait until 10/5/2007 before changing your religion again.

    I'm not sure if teh timing issue is a bug.

    There was a joke thread a week before GWIII to DoW GATO that got the necessary secondings and quickly gathered 20 votes (Normally, votes had a total of 50-60 votes of the 100 nations so only ten to actually official DoW)

    Now this was turned down and vetoed by GM, but we did have a joke thread on something very serious. I think we have posted suggestions that got support to dow pretty much everyone we know in CN. Not to talk about internal wars within TOP. We actually have aired the full scale war for the 8th "Immotals" heroic effort to save General di Tuti from the prison of the evil 9th "Hamster on Wheels". It even got bandwagoning from other chapters on both sides, it was epic :D

    If we start to talk about IRC I have personally suggested to DoW GPA, NPO, NpO, GGA, MHA, The Grämlins, NoR, "Ze Commies", Genesis (Or at least sent enough nukes and flaming the evil Squeak to be considered) in various official channels. But you know, people normally just laughs and play with me.

    I have even been accused for active recriuting by Genesis in the UNION channel and that will result in immediate DoW by Genesis :P

    No, I truly don't believe that NPO will dow us if they had knowlegde of a post or two somebody suggesting to attack them, not to mention it would be taken completely out of context to be valid as there won't be any true "The takedown of NPO" thread. It would make an excellent spam thread though. Maybe I will make that later today. :blush:

    Well, ODN originated from Nation States only in the loosest sense of the word. The way I understand it Orange Defense Network was founded by Pope Hope who came from the Nation States alliance Atlantic Defense Network. However, the only direct connection between the founding of ODN and NS is by Pope Hope, Hrmmm, Dulcinea and Pingu.

    So if you count 4 people meeting at NS then founding an alliance an invasion then yes we are an invasion alliance. However, we are nothing like the FOK and GOON invasion.

    This is a bit wrong. Pump invited the ADN over to join the NPO, and they stated they would never join the NPO in any game. The reason the NPO has the room #nsa was because it stood for Nation States Alliance.

    There were a LOT more NSers in the ODN. Ironically, ODN had most of the invaders as well.
