  1. You miss the point, however. Why would anyone waste their time saying WTF was wrong in accepting CT while ignoring and never commenting a thing about DBDC's actions?

It doesn't matter which alliance took him in.  CT is going to be unwelcome everywhere for the betrayal he pulled.  Will alliances that align against DBDC take him in, probably.  Should they expect it will end well, lol, no.  Ultimately it's WTF's problem until he's cast off.

  2. I am pleased to hear there is conversation at least.  I'm also glad to hear WTF wants to win.  I don't think the odds are in their favor unless a large number of DBDC haters join up with them.

The cupcake propaganda is very strong.  Apparently they didn't enjoy my comment that it resembled my war screen.  That might have derailed the conversation a bit.  I'm sure they'll bring it here though.

  3. I must say, I'm quite confused about how WTF accepting CT changed *ANYTHING*.DBDC declared war on WTF.CT declared war on DBDC and joined WTF.There's been a mix of SPATR involved here and there, but honestly, certain SPATR nations seem to regularly get involved with DBDC's shenanigans without the target alliance doing anything to warrant it beyond existing.

You seem to have conveniently forgotten 2-3 threads in the meantime. It's not even close to that simple. What you're describing is Ron Paul, who will get peace as soon as his wars end.

To Spindoctor, let me just answer your terribly ironic post with a quote from Grub that I find strangely relevant:

Hopefully by this time next year your alliance will have realized that you have no entitlement to post your rubbish here without constant observation of your worth.  If you want to be above the politics of this world, you should also do everyone the courtesy of staying out of the public eye.  I am curious as to why people who are too scared to take a part in what makes Bob tick think anyone besides them cares about what they are doing.  Surely you could confine all future notices to your own realm where people who consider you worth more than a pinch of poop might choose to visit you for their own edification.

    Filthy neutrals.

  4. Accepting a nation at war with a different alliance when you are already besieged is foolish as hell, and will ultimately prove to be WTFs downfall in all of this. It's not just any nation, either. They'd have been far better off not tarnishing their fight with such a traitorous entity but they want to win no matter the cost (and they'll tell you as much on the embassy if you can get through the whining).

  5.

Wasn't talking to you, but thanks for thinking of me.

It just seems that so many on your side of the web have a problem understanding the difference between a legitimate criticism and the usual 'my side, right or wrong' nonsense. I don't engage in the latter. Never have, never will. Starfox should know better, at least as far as I'm concerned.

And of course you didn't surrender. Why, no less an authority than Tywin said so. And we all know he's Polaris' moral compass. (Well, he'd like to think he is, anyway.)

afaik Starfox is not longer affiliated with NpO.

  6. I mean, I think the criticism is that you made the agreement in the first place. Following through with it can also be frowned upon, but it's the fact that it was ever agreed to that I see people taking issue.

As far as this DBDC issue, I personally have had spats with alliances over accepting people, though in those cases it's because they caused harm to my alliance(s) or an ally. If there was past issue I can see it being more agreeable, though the reason of "because we want to" is understandable on how it could chafe people. It sets an uncomfortable precedent, and reminds me of issues people had with alliances such as GOONS in the past. Is it bad or wrong? I guess that's up to the style of the individual.

I'm ok with this assessment, even if it comes from Argent ;)

The irony is that the person with the most objection to RP's acceptance was province of troy.  It seems like the deal itself has been fulfilled exactly as worded, but it's still a deal and it was made with the assumption he wouldn't lie to Dulra and then come after us.

To anyone observing, just flip the situation with your own alliance.  If someone applied to your AA, and you got PMs from other AA's saying they wanted a piece of him before they'll let him go, would you not at least respond to that?  If it was an alliance you didn't want to tangle with, would you not make a concession to at least stave off a direct conflict?

The deal really makes plenty of sense if you consider WHY it was done, but if you just take it like CT does and say "HEY LOOK OBR IS DECLARING WAR ON WTF" and don't take anything else of context with you, yeah it's easy to make a straw argument.

  7. DBDC haven't done anything particularly wrong here. RP joined an alliance they are at war with and they attacked him. Normal practice we'd all do.

Hime and OBR on the other hand have absolutely demolished all the credibility they had spent years building and now are proving to be a bit of a laughing stock of hypocrisy.

I feel sad for the honorable members of OBR.

Hell must indeed frozen over!  All kidding aside, even the intervention by Dulra is a fulfillment of a promise and not an OBR vs WTF debate or declaration.  I think it's pretty shortsighted to try to make this into something it very clearly isn't.

  8.

He left OBR to hit DBDC, so you should be hitting him, not OBR.  And your "objection" to him joining their AA was only that you wanted to hit him. Which in my book, and most people around here's book too, is not a legit reason to not accept a member.

Yes, now instead of you, enter Dulra, who gave me the exact same oath.

  9.

    Yep

Dulra could easily pull out of this. He has good moral ground too.

HAHA this is exactly true bro hahaha. Mate you should have seen the screenshots i saw of him running around crying and beging for help when i attacked him lmfao. Cuba is scared todeath of a real fight and DBDC membership must be seeing this now. This is cubas way of trying to drag OBR into his fight with WTF.

I see you don't have answers for my question.  Very well.  I would say it's disappointing, but we all know you a little too well.

  10.

Save for the fact that once he joined OBR, he was no longer unaligned. Once he's on an AA, you've got nothing on him. Nada, zilch, zero, nothing.  If you didn't manage to hit him when he was unaligned, then you have to wait your turn for him to be unaligned again like every other raider on Bob.  That OBR would be so cowardly as to let you dictate to them what they could do to accept a new member, and what they would be OBLIGATED to you to do to him when he left, is staggering.

Negative.  If he's still applying to the AA and they ask if we have any objections he's not "on the AA".  Either way, you're still arguing semantics.  What his status was at the time is irrelevant.  He left OBR to come hit attack DBDC.  Good for him.

  11.

Yes Cuba i was aware that you was running around sweating and crying asking for people to attack me. Hime notified me that you asked him to attack me and he refused, DBDC members also notified me that you asked them, and also SPATR nations.

So yes i messaged them and asked them to let me fight you 1v1! Absolutely i did that. You have a real problem with a fair fight dont u.

    Answer the questions then.

  12. I think I understand the agreement that was made, but it's sad that OBR would have to offer DBDC anything just to accept a member.

It's a rare form of due diligence.  It's just not common to see.  Most AA's would tell DBDC to just go fuck ourselves, and DBDC would probably just attack anyway, but we both took a diplomatic approach to it, and it was fine until 24 hours ago.

  13. Dude!! You're a coward! Just give the guy an honorable fight and deal with it. Don't be whinning to others to help you out so you don't loose your tech. I can't see how DBDC members and others see you as a leader. You're a complete $@*!% coward

I mean if you consider declaring war at 11:57 and subsequently deleting all soldiers an "honorable" fight.  I suppose you think kamikaze for the sole purpose of dropping a nuke is an honorable tactic.  Ayayay, that's a stretch, even for you CT.

  14.

Oh, I did. You were not at war with RonPaul when he joined OBR, you just wanted to be. You had zero rights to him at that point, just desires.  That's all well and good, you would of course be well within your rights to hit RonPaul if he were to then leave OBR.  What you shouldn't do, what they shouldn't have let you do, is extract a promise from OBR that they themselves would hit a former member if he left their AA in good standing.  That sir does not fly, does not compute, and is utter garbage. You can cry to the heavens about how you don't care how things have been done around Bob in the past, and it will STILL be utter garbage.

We wanted to attack an unaligned nation, yes.  Hard to believe that occurs anywhere in the Cyberverse isn't it?

  15.

So let me get this straight, you essentially told OBR that the only way they could accept RonPaul onto their AA, a guy you were not at war with at that time, was if they promised to declare on him themselves if he subsequently departed OBR? Have I got that right?

I get that you guys have essentialy said that community standards around here can frak right off, but that is some grade A one hundred percent grain fed free range bull@#$ right there.

No.  We wanted to hit Ron Paul when he was applying to OBR, and so we voiced objection to OBR allowing him in.  As a sign of good faith, Hime promised that if Ron Paul ever did come at us from OBR, then it would be handled.  Please at least read the part of my post where I said when happened.

So this attack on RP is not only a declaration of war on WTF it is also a violation of OBR's charter. Hmmmm very honourable Hime

It's neither, but color me shocked you can't figure that out.

I have a question:  How many PMs did you send to DBDC members asking them NOT to attack you?  And how many times have you offered peace to nations you are currently warring?  And finally, did you or did you not ask TBRaiders NOT to nuke you?

Also color me shocked you have no public answer for this, Christian Trojans.  Would you like me to answer my own questions for you (with screenshots) ?

  16.

I am fighting vs DBDC the most feared and the most powerful AA CN has ever seen. Seriously DBDC skills at war really are 2nd to none. A vicious, well coordinated, tight team who smash any AA they come into contact with. And RP and I are attacking them

And now the hypocrisy is complete.  You proclaimed for days/weeks how you are attacking "Cuba" not DBDC, then when it becomes convenient to you, you switch to "I am a martyr, come join me".

This is why personal grudges lead to horrible decisions.  I have a question:  How many PMs did you send to DBDC members asking them NOT to attack you?  And how many times have you offered peace to nations you are currently warring?  And finally, did you or did you not ask TBRaiders NOT to nuke you?

I can at least get behind what Ron Paul is doing, though declaring on me specifically seems to reek of CT's involvement, otherwise there are plenty more viable targets to hit that won't cause ZI and a loss of 12k tech.

For clarity, and I'm only going to state this once, Hime is hitting Ron Paul because DBDC wanted him dead ages ago when he left WTF to go join OBR many months ago, thinking that at some point, he would be a liability to us.  Hime assured me that it wouldn't happen and said if it did, she would nuke him herself.  Oddly enough, CT was the one who wanted Ron Paul dead, and so I voiced our dissent to OBR when he left WTF to join there.

Here we arrive to today where the prophecy has sadly fulfilled itself, and the two align themselves together against DBDC.  Unfortunately only one did it without betraying all of his friends and burning all of his bridges.

  17. i dont see why the Big Birds cant be nice. There are plenty of worms in the pond to go around. I dont see why we all just hug and luv eah other for ever and ever and all we do is build and never fite it is taboo. Hay un gato que va a guerra por la paz. Estoy muy frustrada con gente de planeta B.o.B. No tiempo por tu putas.

Well that is some terrible spanish!  I have always considered myself a nice person, though I don't have to act like it.  Seems I'm not expected to act nice, anyway!

    Peace is a lie.
