*Private* King Mercury, in his lounge, was reading the Catahatan Herald when it came on the TV about Lübeck being invaded. He thought to himself "!@#$" and went on to sound the alarms. ... Military fully mobilised, moved to DEFCON 2. 90% of forces moved to the borders with 40% heavily fortified within the border defences. *Classified to HRE and Lübeck* We shall be sending food and medical supplies to the front to assist you in the war, however we will stand by our MDP with the HRE, should they be declared upon. *Public* We condemn the actions of the Dutch and strongly advise they withdraw immediately and appreciate the absence of consequences mercifully offered by the opponent. We shall refrain from involvement at this time, but let it be known that we shall honour our MDP with the HRE, should they at any point be declared upon.

The two leaders arrived at the castle and got comfortable. "I could talk for hours about how beautiful this country and this castle alone is, but I'd prefer we cut straight to the more imminent matters at hand." Mercury shuffled forward in his seat, positioning himself in a more sincere manner. I have already established a fantastic bond with the King of the now Holy Roman Empire based on this issue, and as such I feel this should prove a good starting point for our relations. What are your thoughts regarding such matters?"

In Wembley King Mercury picked up his telephone and dialed the number of Lubeck leader Vega. The phone rang, and he picked up. "Hello?" "Good evening, sorry to bother you Mister Vega, this is King Mercury of Catahata here. I was wondering if you would be interested in meeting up to discuss diplomatic relations. Do you happen to have a suitable location in mind...?"

"We recognise this name change and will stand by our allies should any nation wish to react in the same manner as last time."

"So from this I can assume two things. Firstly you support anarchy, as you clearly underestimate the 'gravity' of anarchy. Secondly, I can presume that you must have spies in Austria and/or Norway, otherwise you would not be aware if they attempted communications with Scotland or not, unless of course you are just making a blind and unjustified assumption, but that really doesn't score you any brownie points either."
