Sparta joined an offensive campaign that they almost certainly were involved in plotting. KoRT has no need to 'defend' them from the consequences of their aggression. It's perfectly honorable to support your ally who was attacked over the one who did the attacking.

* Edit - you should probably tell the rest of your AA that you just declared war, judging by the amount of nations in D5 right now I doubt that you have. You can even use the announcements feature in game, super simple!
