The Global Federation of Sovereign Nations I've never done a DoE before so bear with me, anyway this is our first round in TE and we were founded just about a week ago, our alliance is strong yet small and officially backs raiding. We believe sovereignty is the key to an alliance and we seek to allow every nation to follow it's own course, providing this does not disrupt the alliance. Knossoss Times Upcoming Elections in Knossoss! Concord- The ruling Conservative Unitary Party's approval ratings rose drastically today, to the astonishment of many experts who predicted them to lose their majority in the Federal Council due to frustration with the economy's slow growth and several high-profile corruption scandals. The Conservatives' jump in the polls is attributed mainly to the recent victory in the wars. The nation's economy has also been getting back on track after the drastic decline during the war. The Federalists, largest of the three main opposition parties and founder of Knossoss itself, have long criticized the government's willingness to go to war in defense of allies. The Liberal-Conservative party, second-largest of the opposition parties, have been campaigning to reduce corruption and provide more civil liberties. But Knossoss is already a very liberal nation which has been helping and hurting, and the government has begun an anti-corruption investigation. The Liberal-Conservatives will likely gain many seats this election, however not as much as usual. The left-wing Federalist Social Party, the smallest and most radical of the four significant parties, will likely lose ground as the economy grows. Their socialist ideas are unpopular with the vast majority of voters, and new jobs are hurting the advantage they hoped to find with the previously growing number of unemployed. After the election, pundits are expecting a Democratic Union-Federalist coalition to form, but anything is possible. The small Democratic Union Party will probably lose their only seat, which is part of a long and brutal collapse of the party, which has been happening for the past thirty years.
