ooc: the only evidence you brought up was an accusation and then built your entire argument on that. its not defense its an observation.

ooc: common sense would dictate that since the enemy is so close to you, you would not use countless resources to construct the underground bunker to house the ICBM's when you could simply use mobile surface to surface missile launchers instead.

ooc: I am not even going to read back further because of the simple fact that the missile is pointed up, IT HAS A CONTINENTAL RANGE, and its destination is only final when you enter the coordinates and hit launch. This isn't picking sides its being logical. besides RV is so close you could peg him with a scud.

ooc: could also look into making magnetic shielding. also I remember seeing an experiment where a NASA team launched a probe connected by a tether into the earth's magnetosphere to generate electricity. the experiment was a success because the tether could not withstand the intense amount of energy generated from it.

U.R.P.R. has completed the second batch of 200km cables and is now proceeding with the 3rd. Meanwhile Saborian cargo vessels have retrieved the first 2 and are now being loaded as we speak.

We will of course continue to build cable in order to have a supply ready for replacement and at now charge to the project, but we would like to hang on to the factories and hopefully use them for beneficial purposes for our country.

ooc: depends how fast the object is really. but if you were to upgrade the servos on the railguns to be able to move into position within seconds of detecting the object then yes. but thats the real problem with the railgun. has to be built incredibly strong and rigid in order to handle the forces. IC: when this structure is finished what could we use the carbon nano fiber for?
