The Emperor, who is unable to attend, wishes to send the best of wishes to the soon to be married couple. Though he would like to offer a gift, he fears that the Confederacy has nothing more to offer than a bunch of pet penguins (which may be trained to carry out commando strikes).

As someone who has a knowledge of complex psychology and who has read the bible, The god of the old testament is defiantly a different entity than the god in the new testament. Old god is bipolar, slightly helpful and gets in peoples way. New god is passive, bored, and knocks up young women

OOC: BTW, on that map, which direction would one travel from your current claims to get to Australia? I am not talking about North or any other Cardinal direction, as your proximity to the South Pole would make that useless. I am talking about Up, Down, Left, and Right.

[Announcing the Formation and Finalization of the Solar Confederate Government]
1750, Residential Building #10, Central Sector, New Hansong:
Fleet Admiral Min Young stepped up to a podium in the converted dining hall of Residential Building #10. As only the essentials were brought, this building would have to serve as the temporary seat of the new government. All the seats of the small dining hall were filled. Some of those seated were military officers who had come down to the Antarctic with the Admiral, some were common men and women, some were representatives from other nations, and even fewer were from the press (the settlement was still small enough to not require any).
"Ladies and Gentlemen, I thank you for your patience. I apologize to any foreign representatives for our...spartan...buildings and settlement as a whole. I hope that you understand that survival is our current priority and once we have that down pact, we can work on amenities. For now, I believe you will have to make do with penguins outside that you can take pictures with to send home to your families."
There were a few chuckles in the crowd.
"As we can all see through the projection the wall," Min Young continued while pointing at the slightly blurred image projecting on the left wall, "The Confederacy has decided on a multi-branch government. The head of the government will be the Emperor who will be assisted by the Confederate Premier--the effective second in command of the government. Below both of them will be the Parliament which will consist of the Council of Lords and the Senate. The Emperor will select whomever he sees fit to the Council whereas the people will vote on the Senators. All laws that wish to be passed must be voted on in the Parliament and pass with a majority--defined as 60% plus one. Both the Emperor and the Premier can veto laws as they see fit. The Emperor may also allow laws to bypass the voting process and overturn a Premier's veto. Furthermore, the Premier may overturn a veto or veto the Emperor with a super majority in Parliament--defined as 75% plus one."
Copies of the Solar Charter were passed out to those seated. Those seated all began to whisper to one another wondering as to how the new government would look.
"Without further ado, I have the great honor of presenting to you the Emperor of the Confederacy. Ladies and Gentlemen, this man is familiar to us all and many of us served with and for him for years. Hail to the Emperor, Emperor Kim Kee Hyuk!"
A loud roar of applause exploded from those seated--especially from the officers and other ex-Shillans. The Emperor, clothed in simple clothing, stepped out from what was the kitchen of the dining hall and up to the podium. There he embraced the Admiral and spoke a few silent words before turning to those gathered.
"I thank you for such a warm return. Though I cannot go into detail as to how I am still alive after an attack on my life some months ago, I can tell you that I am overjoyed to have returned. Now, I'm sure about the rest of the government, so I shall announce them to you."
"First Premier of the Confederacy: Yoo Young Eun. First Council of the Confederacy: Lord Roh Tae Woo, Baron Baek Chang Oh, Count Kim Min Gi, Viscount Choi Dae Jung, Marchioness Takahashi Makino, and Countess the Admiral Bergfalk Chelsea. The Senate shall be voted on within the next week."

The Confederacy finds this development to be..interesting. Having once upon a time been an ally of both Slavorussia and Ubersteinia, the Provisional Confederate Government has declared that it will "sit on the ice berg and drink" as they watch the situation.

OOC: you would be correct in that. I couldve sworn I remember Triyuns post going along the lines of "while we still maintain friendship and we part ways with no bad blood, Vietnam may no longer participate in the FNB (because he left the orders)". I could be wrong

So, you'd need to import all the fuel for the generators for the food, import the food that you need for when the plants are still growing, import every type of natural resource imaginable, etc. etc. all until you dig down through miles of ice, where you will then only be able to access things that would be able to picked up by a drill over four miles long.
Keep drilling.
Plus, I didn't really want any of the other open spaces on the map.
How did you get to those resources in places other than Antarctica?Again, keep drilling.

Not anymore than he already well to get started. Eventually you can start growing crops in greenhouses that are kept warm with generators, and Antarctica has plenty of natural resources.
You can also fish (plenty of fish and other sea critters that can be eaten) for food as well. For water? You can either distill the sea water or start melting the ice and drink that. Plenty of options.

From the Desk...rather...Converted Crate of the Foreign Minister/Converted Closet:
To the Nations of the World who wish to apply for embassies in the Confederacy, we are now accepting applications. However, we are currently only able to accommodate a maximum of two persons per nation and provide only a 10 foot by 10 foot living space (which will also have to be used as an office). Food will be provided but we suggest that nations send an ambassador who has a liking for seafood, prepackaged vegetables, rice, and tea (or alcohol. We have lots of alcohol). One of the few amenities that our humble settlement can offer though, is landing space for planes (largest we can handle at B-17 Flying Fortresses but we suggest against bringing one of those).
