In marched a contingent of Shillan penguins. Well trained in direction, ability to follow orders, languages, arms, combat, and cuteness, some fifty penguins were the Emperor's gift to Mannelig. One of them bore a note wishing the new couple the best of luck and apologized for not being able to be present.

It's less of a claim and more of a "Please tell us you're here and don't touch the scientific equipment" zone. You don't need a passport and at most there are maybe 5 Ubersteinian troops and 10 scientists.

Also, as per Lavo and I's RP in this thread, he has given me ownership of Turkemenistan (which I have renamed Kaya). The Solar Confederacy has changed its name to the New Shillan Empire and I've edited the map to reflect these changes.
Map edit might be a bit off though. ^^;;

Though the Confederacy is still small at the moment, some very smart economists in the old Shillan government managed to move all of Shilla's governmental wealth--including the Imperial coffers--off shore to safe locations across the planet. Since we really don't have much else to spend it on, we will be doing much development in Turkmenistan. I would like to ask though, do you know of any reliable construction companies that would not mind taking on a very large and rapid construction project?"

The man chuckled before speaking. "Heh, when you still got youth on your side, it isn't hard to keep it. Besides that, I blame our gyms for keeping me in good health." He smirks for a second and then continues. "I dare say though, you are in even better shape then I am, despite having been supposedly assassinated. Then again, assassination attempts keep you in good shape, knowing from experience. It is an honour to be working with you Emperor Hyuk."
Kee Hyuk chuckled a bit. Indeed, youth was an amazing thing. "Ah those pesky rebels, terrorist, dissenters, and the like. They won't ever give up on trying to kill people they don't like. The honor of working with you is mine. I suppose that Prime Minister Lavo has passed down the proposal I put forth?"

OOC: Just as a reference guys, all the land around Lake Baikal and the cities nearby should still be radioactive. Tahoe and I crushed Bashkan (who used to rule that land) with a bunch of nukes.

The Emperor stepped forth to greet Shimon Shalam. He had met the Emperor's cousin on a few occasions before and had always thought well of him. "It is a pleasure to be able to be here, Mr. Shalam. I see you look just as healthy as you did the last time we met."

The three flanking Hwanin-III Knightmares peeled off and headed back to the SIS Hwarang which lay not too far off the the Persian coast. Kee Hyuk could feel the shuttle begin to descend. Within minutes, the tires hit the asphalt and slowed to a stop. The Emperor and his small entourage stepped out of the shuttle and were greeted by ceremonious guard. Taking in a breath of the fresh Yerushalaim air, the Emperor walked forth to begin what could be the most important meeting in the history of the Confederacy.

OOC: because hezzbollah and Hamas use fairly comparable weaponry thats only out of date by a decade, 3 decades at most. LVN is at least a century ahead of Sumeragi
OOC: AK47's are pretty modern man...
LVN's technology levels put him at ~2022 to Sumeragi's ~1973. Gap is small enough for Sumeragi to detect both and defend/dodge one. Sumeragi's sub probably can't survive the second torpedo.
