American Election Coverage!
As some of you know, the Pacific News Network's Tabloid Tribune has a long and glorious history of covering the American Federal Election. We stepped into the absurdity of the 2004 election and are holding our nose to bring the world the American Election Coverage it truly deserves. The Tabloid Tribune provides in-depth coverage of the issues, candidates, positions, all culminating in live election coverage on the first Tuesday after the first Monday in November in years divisible by four.
This year, the Tabloid Tribune will be hitting the hard issues ignored by the Mainstream Media:
A learned religious debate about whether Barak Obama is the Messiah, the Anti-Christ, or just a crypto-Muslim. When John McCain says “My Friends,” is he really talking about us or about his Vietnamese comrades who brain-washed him? Why Joe Biden supports a McCain presidency. Potential career options for Sarah Palin after she loses the election.
Our team of correspondents will also be covering the balance of power in the United States Congress as the Democrat Party continues their march to a filibuster-proof sixty senate votes so they can finally give every American the three A’s that George McGovern was unable to provide: Amnesty, Abortion and Acid. Not to mention free* healthcare, free* retirement, free* prescription drugs, free* housing assistance, free* mass transit, and a free* pony.
(*these things may actually cost someone money)
The Republicans will be running hard on their triple G ticket: Guns, God and Greed, reminding you that homosexuals want to devalue your marriage and force your children to read Harry Potter, His Dark Materials, and Heather Has Two Mommies.
We’ll also be following important propositions in the western states (eastern states tend not to believe in democracy and hence, no ballot propositions) such as the California Constitutional Amendment to over-turn the California Supreme Court’s over-turning of the proposition to define marriage as a contract between a man and a woman.
As always, in order to ensure that we can bring you completely unbiased, fair and balanced news free of influence with the highest moral integrity, we will be soliciting sponsorships for PNN’s coverage of the American Federal Election.
Due to the fast pace of November 4, PNN will not be showing videos and will be covering the event either through the use of text or audio. Your message will be incorporated into our coverage in which every format we use, and if you wish to prepare a video of any length, PNN will be happy to link to it several times during our coverage.
All bidding must be done in units of technology. Bidder must have a minimum of five nations willing and able to send said technology in a reasonable timeframe (minimum five deliveries once every 15 days, preferably once every 10 days) or bidder and bidder’s associates will be turned over to an aggressive collections agency. Winning bid will be the one who meets the above qualifications and is the highest bid posted in this thread by Tuesday’s update (October 14, 2008 10:00 PM, Pacific Daylight Savings Time).
