You are aware the Karma coalition was quite a bit larger than the NPO, right?
He was talking about individual alliances, I believe.
-
I personally disagree with the sheer amount of new alliances flooding AP these days. There are so many alliances already that there is almost nothing your alliance could offer than at least a few others don't already have. It's getting ridiciulous, especially with CN losing players.
-
It will also be historic when they get it back.
It'll be historic if they go back to 22 million NS. Which I don't see happening.
-
Doesn't mean it needs to be.
I beg to differ. This is a historic occasion.

You know, I was considering hand-writing a message and sending it to you earlier. I got distracted by something and never did, and here we are, hailed as the best recruiters you've had yet. Thanks for the compliment (and maybe you oughta go with your instincts and join up ).
Will you let me buy nukes when I'm at 15k if I join?
-
No offense taken. For DM and I it wasn't about the power of being at the top of an alliance, it was creating something based on what we believe in and cultivating a community around it, for ya know, some fun times.
There are many, many alliances. I'm sure you could find a community like that.
-
It seems there are 20 new alliances every week....
Really, I'm not insulting you guys, but if an individual wanted to have power, or see what it was like to be in a small alliance, join one that already exists, and if you're skilled enough, you'll do well and help that alliance grow.

Then why are there even terms? If that is the point of the war..to end NPO..then stop the charade with the ludicrous surrender terms. Either way, you are looking pathetic. @karma
I am not saying they should be held in permanent war. That isn't karma's goals, as many on the hegemony side got off with white peace, or a peace with very lenient terms. I don't necessarily support or apologize for everything Karma does, but NPO needs to be shown that their reign ends here. The NPO is crafty, even in defeat.
-
NPO has not shown during the whole period between GW1 and this period that they deserve lenient terms. NPO has deserved this on many levels.
This is more or less a call to give NPO lenients terms so they can brood. Which will then naturally lead them to try taking revenge later.
-
I see NPO members complaining of treatment that they themselves imposed on other alliances. How dare you complain about the risk of being attacked after surrender terms when you did the exact same thing to FAN? Or about the massive amount of reparations. What about th $900 000 000 you made Legion pay at the end of GW3 which were unprecedented at the time? You all are a bunch of babies with huge and obvious double standards.
-
Yes, all of those members we recruited, and all the hard work we put into IAA is ill-gotten.
Honestly mandy, give it up.
You're playing right into my hands with your posts, mister mathias. Lighten up a bit.
Perhaps ill-gotten gains are not the sort you should be speaking of at this point in time.Quite right. Quite right.
-
I disapprove all your ill-gotten gains, sir.
-
Trolling Chimy is never a good idea, but I'm glad you're apologizing for your actions.
No it's actually quite fun.
-
I'll pay the 15 million myself, that's how much I like you guys.
-
Cool, I'd say a good economic cooperation bloc is better than a military bloc any day.
-
Master-Debator has every right to do this. It says so right in TAB's formation thread, that although TAB is BTA's successor, the BTA was disbanded. This means it was a dead alliance and an unused name until now.
Seeing now that TAB will only be ignoring BTA is the best solution for all. Everyone is happy.
-
Nice to see you back. I was so disappointed when I saw you had to be kicked out of the first one, which later became an Initiative puppet.
-
This is a rather laclustre attempt to copy the success of This Week in Pacifica. Taking a short glance over the post, it looks interesting, but soon after I started reading through it, it became rather apparent that nothing of interest or real humour was said.
-
so what is this, the 5th alliance this week?
-
No.
In fact, I might have to EZI you.
Please commence calling me worse than NPO now.
Um sir, I believe I was next to be EZI'd by IAA. You need to cross-check your lists.

WHOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOSH!
That's the sound of the OP flying over your head.
and the biplane is my post over your head.
Losing a war sucks, doesn't it? Makes you desperate, no? Such a shame you can't sentence me to ZI.
-
Already trying to spin this war into a victory? I'm disappointed.
-
Yes, because when I think of honor, I immediately think of TPF.
Pointless propaganda is pointless.
Ain't that the truth. TPF has shown all thoughout their history that they have no credibility, and used NPO as a shield to mistreat other alliances. TPF is in their rightful place right now.

So would you say the 60% of your alliance in peace mode has contributed as much to effort as those who actually fought and are fighting?
Bandwagoning

Since a lot of treaties are usually for protection and not really about "friendship" and trust" like many would claim, an alliance shouldn't need a treaty to go to war. Unless it is very obvious that an alliance joined just to join a curbstomp and be on the winning side (see: war on peace, GATO-1V war), then I don't believe in the term 'bandwagon'.
Of course, some alliances will complain bitterly in a war about another alliance 'bandwagoning' but what can they do?
