    It is interesting to see events from Gabriel Carvers perspective.

    I will not argue semantics about tone or nuance that were in messages. Gabriel Carver appears to have made an honest portrayal of events as he sees them that closely align with my recollection.

    I must say this though

    1. Tito15 the member of NSF that started this in the first place is more of an arrogant asshat as opposed to jackass. A jackass does not know any better and he does. He has subsequently fled to the Heroes of Gaming alliance so it is now apparent what a stellar alliance member he was and I am sure will continue to be.

    2. I did not ever claim to hate any nation in any of our correspondence. The strongest term I used was in relation to Tito 15 when I admitted to Gabriel in diplomatic discussions that he was pissing me off. Quite restrained when you consider he was threatening nuclear retaliation from MCXA and his tech partners for daring to try to broker peace.

    3. I have no ill will towards any of the alliances that I have dealt with in this matter, NSF has shown great integrity and responsibility and agreed to pay the 9 million dollars in damage done to my nation by SE (admittedly while acting upon false information). My apologies to the damage I caused to the 3 nations that attacked me without my retaliation. SE has shown itself to be an alliance of great integrity also. I hope civil and even friendly relations will develop from this bad situation.

    I never once threatened to have anyone nuke you. (Thats quite a serious accusation too)

    I was telling you about the military power I would have on my side when you brought up war. I never brought up nukes and in talks like this I felt it was necessary to say who was on my side and my power.

    I never threatened you conscience I only informed you. I went wrong having that attack done the way it was before letting you have a chance.

    What happend (In my perspective)

    It was over a course of a few days. They happened in this order.

    - Tito tech raids two country's that are unaligned. I don't remember what there names were. (Conscience knows)

    - Conscience at the time was running three man alliance. He was trying get them to join him I think or was just acquaintance with them.

    - He sends an msg to Tito saying to stop attacks. He say if they are not there will be retaliation by the Conserved party (Conscience's alliance) on tito.

    - Talks don't work between him and tito. He go's to me. In a message he stats that he is willing to work it out civilly before doing an attack. He says to me what he says to tito about the demands.

    - I reply back. First. I requested more info about it. He showed me the msgs he sent to tito and the ones received. Tito was aggressive in them. I said I was going to demote him but I found out he was just a basic member so I decided I would talk to tito.

    - I started talking to Conscience more. I kept my defense still of tito. The country's raided were not in an alliance so the raid still stood. (I believe my members rights that I gave them. I did limit raids though recently because of this. I was not going to restrict him from is current right with out approval first at the time.)

    I was uncertain about the county's Conscience was guarding. I heard nothing from them personally and Conscience admitted to hating them because they were not joining his alliance.

    My final conclusion was that I came to was that Conscience did not know these countries. I think he picked them from a war list to help so they wold join. he probably made a deal that he would stop the raids and they would join if that was done.

    His last demand was that if he got them to join an alliance the attacks would stop. I felt though that this was not going to happen.

    I did not know Conscience style so I could not risk knowing if he was bluffing or really going to attack someone. I went to a friend in SE for help.

    I talked with MCXA during that time. They agreed to help if I we got attack first. This is were I went really wrong I feel though. I went you guys to see if he could be attack and have a first blow at him. I was not willing to give this time to perhaps end better.

    I feel really bad about this because I was playing the oppressor and not giving him an equal chance. I also did not listen to the MCXA who would have helped.

    What I did was act on fear and only my personal theory and I did not handle this the right way

    I did a bad thing. A really stupid thing. I let my fear take over and I acted out of impulse. I started turning into the kind of leader I hate.

    I hereby resign from my leadership position in the North Star Federation.

    It is. But isn't is the flag of the United Federation of Planets from Star Trek?

    I don't watch it , I just recognised it form a Wiki article I followed.

    Dang I said I wanted the flag to be original when the flag contest was going on. Eh I guess its time to get a new one.

    State of the NSF

    There are many things to say. First off the North Star Federation is now a month old. We have been nice and active these days. We have a protectorate now with the MCXA. We have made small changes to are government. We still have a council but now we also have a president which is currently me. I have also removed some ministries that were not needed for the time being but might be reinstated later.

    Statistically

    There are forty of us with thirty one active. As I said a good number have been active on are boards too. We are at 84,466 NS total and it has been growing. We still lack in nukes though.

    Foreign Affairs

    I have been working to keep foreign affairs to a minimum but we have some allies we communicate with a lot and have NAPs with. So far though internal issues have been are main focus.

    Current Focus

    We have been working heavily on the advancement of the alliance internally. Trying to make are own identity so the alliance has value to it and is not just flag and a charter.

    Final

    I am really proud of everyone in the NSF. Everyone has been working great and using what knowledge they have to make are alliance great while still learning a lot too. I appreciate what are allies have done for us. With out them things would be much harder.

    Well tonight we finished signing a treaty with MCXA that should be posted soon I think or tomorrow.

    We have been doing excellent stat wise but I have been trying to change the mind set in the NSF away from only focusing on that. Right now whats most important is people being active and all of us creating a bond and culture. Stats are important but not as important as an alliance were everyone has a strong identity with each other.

    Leaders and alliance officials can get to focused on stats and soon realize that they mean nothing when things get tough and everyone leaves because they really did not care and were only there for protection and/or money.

    SOUL Protectorate Cancellation

    This happened two days ago but we are making it official. The SOUL protectorate with the NSF is now void. There where particular reason for are cancellation that we will not make public but we feel it had to be done.

    Stick around for another announcement from the MCXA that will be happening any moment.

    Looking for alliance

    Personally, I'm planning to leave for a war alliance once I'm sufficiently built up. I don't intend to pay a single penny for tech in this game.

    The larger alliance can probably build you up nicely. Most are not going to be going to war so soon. With MCXA you would be able to stay on your team color. I think they allow you to tech raid too.

    Like I said its pretty safe now. The only war is the LSF one. There does not seem to be another big war in sight for a while.

    In my experience; alliance recruitment boards tend to be quite dead. Or at the very least, they're not as flooded as the main boards. Here, we'd have more players and thus more varied responses. I'd really like to know what I'm getting into before I make the jump; joining an alliance under massive attack is almost always ill-advised.

    Well thats very true. I remember when I joined the Legion 3 days before the whole spy incident happened. Most alliances are not in war from what I know of right now. Most are really safe.
