Promised Land and Aiginor have been talking about a potential land exchange to open up some non-Great Barrier Reef blocked waters for Aiginor. We have come to an agreement. In exchange for the World's Largest Cookie and 197,814.38 Hanseatic Marks, Promised Land has agreed to cede this land to Aiginor:

With my landslide victory over former President Bevan, I had secured the power. The power I did not want. So, I repealed ever Power Act and restored the rights of the people. I ordered Homeland Defence to arrest Gabriel Bevan on the charges of Treason and Crimes Against Humanity. He was given a fair trial, and given the very rare sentence of death. Today, I watched his execution. I then disbanded Homeland Defence and renamed them "Aigin Marines". They were just as elite as before, but now they were not used as a secret police force. Aiginor was, once again, a Republic.

Dranagg need not worry, Aiginor will now back the Hanseatic Mark. Our economy is as strong, if not stronger, than the Hanseatic Commonweath's was. The value of the Hanseatic Mark will not change. The headquarters of the HEU will also be moved to Agrona if there are no objections.

Aiginor is almost a dictatorship, for now.

Much had happened since Gabriel Bevan became President. Numerous acts had ben passed that gave the President large amounts of power. Aiginor was just a step away from becoming a Dictatorship rather than a Republic. The people had let their Tintagylian ideals go away. All but one man. Robert Collier. He had been a low level aide during the Lucas Admisitration, but he had since been promoted to Undersecretary of State under President Bevan. He had used his power to slow the passage of the "Power Acts" as they had come to be known. He was loyal to the last, but the last was now here, and his time had come. He had been in contact with a few intellectuals that knew what was going on, and of Gabriel Bevan's desires for absolute control and power. He had also been in contact with a small band of Resistance fighters that operated outside Queenton. Oddly enough, they were the remnants of the Order of Reason, the group that had killed President Lucas and placed President Bevan into power. Robert knew he had one last chance to convince the people to vote somebody else into office. There was one clause left in the Aigin Constitution that allowed for Emergency elections to be called by the Secretary of State. Unfortunately, this clause was going to be eliminated in the next Power Act, which was slated to go up before the Assembly in two weeks. He had to act before then. Also unfortunate was that fact that he was Undersecretary, not Secretary. But should the Secretary of State die, he had no doubt he would be promoted. So a plan was put into action... ----------------------------- *3 days later* "Is everything in place?" ask Robert. "Yes sir." said an unknown rebel. "I wish you people would stop calling me 'sir'. I don't have any rank within the Resistance." "We know, but you're still the Undersecretary of State." "If this works, I won't be for much longer." ----------------------------- *An hour later* Secretary of State Lara Smith walked out of her house toward her car. The moment she stepped out into the open, three shots rang out from 200 meters away. the first two missed completely (The shooter wasn't a trained sniper), but the third hit her square in the forehead. She was dead instantly. The police arrived within five minutes, and the investigation was rapidly taken over by Homeland Defence, who had become the President's "secret police" of sorts.The results of the investigation were inconclusive, other than them finding the location of the shooter. ----------------------------- *One week later* "... It is with great joy that I announce our new Secretary of State, Robert Collier!" were the words of President Bevan as he announced myself as the new Secretary of State yesterday. I was ready and I knew the annuncement would come, butg I had no idea how deep the people were into his propoganda. I hoped with all my heart that it was just out of their fear of Homeland Defence that they cheered, otherwise the plan would be a complete failure. I had announced the emergency elections yesterday, and President Bevan knew he had placed a Tintagylian Rebel (OOC: oxymoron) in a place of power. Now the elections were underway, and polls showed favour for myself over President Bevan. Yes, I had taken up position as the opposition in the election, but I did so reluctantly. At any rate, it was now up to the people (OOC: You guys) to decide.

Complaining about it in here does you no good. Personally, I have nothing against you OOC. I just need some way to destroy Aiginor very quickly, and your claim came up.

I believe whoever it is in Texas has been long inactive. I think it's safe for him to be wiped because I don't even remember who it was that RPed there. No, his nation isn't locked, I checked.

Altea fell long ago. Perhaps you are confusing them with Aiginor, which is an insult. Your time has been lessened to 24 hours to halve your claim in Antartica, or action will be taken to reduce it.

A145 will give the government agencies, as well as Homeland Defence, the powers they need to hunt down the Order of Reason and the one responcible for killing the President. Specifically, A145 will allow us, us being Homeland Defence, to track suspected terrorists by any means possible until we can capture them. Once captured, they will be throughly interogated, and then imprisoned for life. To acomplish this goal, new facilities are being built all around Aiginor to accomadate the captured terrorists. The largest of these facilities, named the Vittel Facility, or Camp Vittel, will house most of these terrorists. In addition, cameras with face-recognition software will be installed everywhere in Aiginor. These cameras will help track down terrorists and criminals. I assure you, if you are not a terrorist or a criminal, you need not be worried. All of these are just a few of the things in A145 that will provide for a secure Aiginor. Thank You." *Wild Applause*

Today, at 0300, the Secretary of Homeland Defence informed me that a special operatives team had captured the leader of the Order of Reason. Her name is Emily Callum. Her trial, while it will e fair and just, will be fast and deadly for her. The evidence is overwhelmingly against her. If and when she is convicted, the Order of Reason is expected to collapse, and peace will return to Aiginor.To all of Bob, I say this: The appearence of the Order of Reason may be seen as instability in Aiginor. I assure you, they were only a small and very radical group operating at the fringes of Aigin territory. They have not, and will not, ever operate outside Aiginor. In fact, I can assure you that they will not operate again! *Massive Applause* Among the crowd, one person shouted "Kyle Lucas, you should have heeded the suthsayer!" At that moment, he pressed a detonator, detonating the several pounds of C4 hidden in the podium. Kyle Lucas, the President of Aiginor, was dead, as were 200 other people.
