tl;dr The Basketball Ninjas invoke the oA portion of the Better Late Than Never Treaty with SC, and declare war on UBD.

  2. I guess I just don't get why.

Please, admin, I know you've said for a long time you don't want to disrupt years of fundamental gameplay, but removing this does just that.

People on the losing end of a war have few options available to them already, this takes one of their biggest guns out of their holster and makes curbstomps more profitable, turtling more prevalent, and less strategic warfare overall.

  3. So in rounds gone by, when you attacked with certain low odds, you would be abel to 'lose' a battle but still do your opponent half the damage you would do in a ground battle victory.

This appears to no longer work, after hundreds of low odds battle reports from this round, no-one has reported any doing the 'half damage' in a loss that used to be possible.

The reason I'm classifying this as a 'bug', is because this is a large fundamental change to gameplay which hasn't been documented in the game update log.

It is a large change to fundamental gameplay because it robs the player who is losing a war the ability to do a little damage to their dominator.

Where in the past, they could go hard and occasionally do some damage while getting losing, now they can't, the rich get richer, the poor get poorer and are better off just turtling.

I don't think this is best for TE, and hope the change hasn't been made in SE... So I am just wondering if this was intentionally removed.

Lol yikes, I just got declared on by someone with 700 more infra than me. He is now sitting at 300% my infra level. This how Pork Shrimp fights? :P
Um... yeah... hypocrite much? you attacked Strykewolf of RD at 2400NS when your NS was 4200+

I'm already at war with two nuclear targets, both who had more infra & more nukes than me when I declared on them and Ive eaten nukes from them... I needed a troop dump, you were it, sucks for you, but sucks for Strykewolf too and I don't think you considered his feelings before down declaring.

  5. Yep see what happened was I bought my Mine on the 26th and put it ontop of the Base, both on the hotspot.

Now on Sep 1st I can't move the Mine as its been moved in the past 7 days, but I also can't move the Base (whcih hasn't been moved in the past 7 days) as it is stuck under the Mine and I can't move it off it to get to the mine etc.

Thanks jerdge for info on how to get the Value param, I might try it, though if I don't have to pay bills before moving them I can just wait until my 7 days are up and move the Mine first and then the Base over, I just wasn't looking forward to having to pay bills with my Base at 50% if I couldn't move it right now, as I would be over the 2 day bill limit by the time I can move the Mine off the top.

  6. Am just wondering;

#1. Can you move your wonders when you have 2+ days of bills owing or do you have to pay bills first?
#2. If you have your wonders stacked on top of each other, and on the hotspot for 100% efficiency, and the wonder 'on top' is unable to be moved for a few days, is there any way to move the one on the bottom?

I suspect #2 is just tough luck, I was tempted to try and fiddle with some URL manipulation to take a stab at it but thought I'd ask here.

     Pork shrimp Announcement

    Greetings one and all.

I'm here to both celebrate the winning of our round 12 flag chase, and to pass on the torch for round 13.

In round 12, we set a goal to win, if you had different goals or ideas on what TE is about, thats great for you, but this was our goal, we set out to achieve it and with discipline, planning and precision we came home with the flag.

Flag running is hideously stressful though, and now, I need a break ;) so, after 11 rounds at the helm of this proud alliance, with two flags won, I am giving some new blood a chance to lead, allowing me to step back and enjoy TE as just another player.

This was a great high note to finish my leadership reign on, in round 12 we finished with 4 of the top 5 nations, 7 of the top 11, and a top 10 filled exclusively with PS and our good friends at TPC... I couldn't have asked for much more.

As I step back, I just want to again thank the guys who made this possible, honestly, I may have drawn up the plans but plans are nothing without guys to carry them through, and everyone in round 12 right up and down the line did their bit no matter how big or small and were a valued piece of the puzzle. It truly was a total team effort and from that came some pretty special results.

To the allies we have had over the rounds, thank you to TPC and the Warriors for being an honourable group of friends, for many rounds now, and I am sure we will remain good friends moving forward.

So, onto the torch passing, In round 13, PS will be led by RocDogg, bcortell and White Chocolate, so please feel free to contact them with any PS government enquiries, as I slip back into the shadows, like the Basketball Ninja I am ;)

Funny coming from NB I am fighting Nordic turtles right now!
Next time maybe declare up instead of declaring down on people 60% of your NS then, but thanks for wasting your offensive slots on guys who were small and largely inactive.

  9. Pork Shrimp has different goals every round.

Last round we had a civil war, and they anarchied every nation in Catharsis within 24hours of them blitzing us.
The round before that we rolled MI and had a great fun war with LE.
The round before that we tried for the flag and won it.

Do we flag run every round?

    No.

Do we flag run some rounds?

    Sure.

Is flag running something that is "killing TE"?

    Laughable.

Sonic Boom, I like your post, you recognise how hard it is to do, The fox, you're absolutely delusional. TE is full of great builders and great strategists, if you think it is easy to beat them all and win a flag and its a simple matter of firing a couple of nukes then I can't even begin to tell you how naive you are.

If you saw how much time and planning I had put into this round it would make your head spin. Do you know how much easier it would have been for me to just plan a couple of alliance wars this round and be done with it? My god, that would be like finger painting compared to calculus.

In fact, I am 100% certain I put far too much time into this round, and it is another reason PS does not chase the flag every round. I leave no stone unturned in my planning, the amount of time I put into our round 9 win, I needed some rounds off from flag running to recharge the batteries before even considering another go at it.

And no-one can do it alone, you need a good plan, you need luck, you need friends, and you need a strong, smart and dedicated team, and I am very, very lucky to have that and then some behind me. If we don't win, so be it, but I can't say enough about my guys and the effort they put into this round. My guys are incredibly skilled, disciplined and dedicated... These guys walk across water, and they are far from the one trick ponies you think they are, they excel at all aspects of TE, whether that is rolling an alliance that is 3 times our size (round 10), sending every nation in an alliance that blitzes us into anarchy within 24hours (round 11), or chasing the flag (round 12).

  10.
Like I said, you can call yourselves warriors and try to bash other AA's for trying to be successful, but the rogue antics are pretty much the reason TE loses 25% of its players each round.

You cannot deny the numbers. TE used to have 3000+ players, then 2500, then 2000 and now barely 1500. People do NOT want to play all round and work hard to build their nation only to have their efforts bashed by some person whose only order was "go nuke this person".
So Pork Shrimp is responsible for the death of TE now eh? Gee, maybe the falling number on Planet Steve could perhaps be attributed to the falling number on Planet Bob?

    Outrageous idea I know.
As far as my personal nation, I have been #1 in total casualties twice now going into the final week and I'm not even going to entertain question about the ferocity of RD's war capabilities.

I'm just sad that TE always has to end with shenanigans and fake alliances and rogueish suicide bombing.
As opposed to ending the round with a fake non nuclear war with Aztec filling all your defensive slots so that you could waltz to the flag eh?

You can't force people to play TE the way you want it to be played, just call a spade a spade, you want it to be played however it suits you and your alliance best. Well guess what, we play TE how it suits our alliance best.

Would this thread have been here if we didn't attack you personally, or RD? No way, because we have done this several times in the past 5 rounds and I didn't see you complaining then. You would have been fist pumping from the sidelines about how this improved your position.

This is simply a complaint thread because things didn't go your way, nothing more, nothing less.

Has everything gone our way this round? No way, far from it, but you don't see me up here starting a thread whining about how those who put bumps in our road aren't playing TE how is should be played.

  11. Who was hiding? We sat here and waited for someone to bring the fight to us, and no-one did, what the hell were we meant to do? sit on 200 nukes till the end of the round? we can't take them through to the next round you know.

5 rounds of observations eh? Well Pork Shrimp has been around for 11 rounds and heres a newsflash, we don't care what anyone thinks and we don't care what others claim TE 'should be about'.

We set our goals each round, and we set out to achieve them. We have made many friends along the way, and we are one of the most loyal and honourable alliances out there if you do the right thing by us, (feel free take note of who we didn't attack and why we didn't attack them).

We may be called the Nordic Ballers this round, but this is Pork Shrimp, when we set out to do something like this, we go all out in an ordered, disciplined, and rutheless manner, this isn't the first round we have done this, and it won't be the last.

    Nordic Ballers Declaration of Existence

    We exist.

Also, Pork Shrimp are an NB protectorate this round.

    Thank you and goodnight.

    Pork Shrimp Declaration of Victory

A strong effort from those who attacked us, after over three straight weeks of war (if any alliance
has ever been at war longer in TE, it is news to me) you had us on the ropes and almost broke us...

    Almost.

Pork Shrimp hereby claim victory in the round 11 Consequence Coaliton war.

    That is all.

You do realize that we don't really care about who else they attacked... they still felt they needed to pile on us with 10x our nations.
They piled on you with 260 nations eh? wow that update blitz must have been something to behold... Wait... I only count 27 nations... ? What the?

    Eh...

Noting who else they attacked is a pretty solid tactical move, after all, it will help you to predict just how many of the 247 might possibly come your way...

8 Days ago, I hid the remote control at Pork Shrimp HQ...

I told the Porkers that the Shrimpers took it, and vice versa

Then I stood on the couch yelling 'fight fight fight' while the two groups tore each other to shreds.

8 days later, they noticed the remote in my hand and decided to stop fighting.

We then all settled in to watch the latest episode of Lost on our clubhouse big screen, and all was forgiven.

For the record, the Shrimpers took out the victory by a very, very narrow margin.

    Long live Pork Shrimp!

  16. We tried this back in round 4 but pulled the plug...

Honestly, whats more fun than beating the crap out of guys you normally fight alongside and yabber with on a daily basis.

    Nothing thats what :)

So, Porkers, Shrimpers, to the death :D
