Here we witness The Democratic Order showing dignity and as mush respect as can be given to mortal enemies. Those that keep their composure in peace and war, in victory and defeat, in hope and despair, these are the true strong. Neutrality is not what makes you great, TDO.
To those that say "TDO you will surrender". I remind you that there's no surrender to Musqaeda: they promise permanent war to those that don't submit to their cause. They don't tolerate that their victim preserve their identity. The Democratic Order can resist or disband, this is a war of extermination.
To those that say "Neutrals should band together". I remind you that neutrality isn't an ideology, it's a way to conduct your affairs. There's nothing to unite for, as much as there's no ideological impediment to intervene to defend yourself.
To those that say "Neutrals deserve this because they never helped us when we were in need". Neutrals don't intervene in your affairs. For every time a neutral doesn't help the defeated, they're also not harming the victor, which might have been you and which each of you has been at some time. You should say "Neutrals deserve this because they never aligned with us" and "we deserved also what we couldn't win with our own forces only".
To all those that criticize neutrals for their non-interventionism. Neutrals offer everyone their respect and friendliness, which is more than what some of you can claim to have ever offered to this world. They don't meddle in others' affairs as much as they don't meddle in your ones, and they never asked for or received your help. Don't ask for what you don't give yourself.
To all those that cheer on the peaceful being hit by the arrogant. On the friendly being exterminated and wiped away from CN. For you I have no words.Or they can convert.

Within the next week to a month, we will be formalizing a process through which anyone can request content from the MK Government Forums pertaining to a topic, with certain items being restricted either due to request or privacy concerns.
MK members will be able to request anything over 12 months old and non MK members will be able to request anything over 18-24 months old.

It's more a question of:
If what they did is OOC, bringing it up to attack them in an IC forum is bollocks. Subtly (or most of the time, not) referencing to it in an IC place to score cheap political points , knowing the full details cannot be discussed or it will lead to a ban, is also bollocks. The latter has been done ad nauseam. -

I'd amend the first post to include Rush's post as a separate stage or substage, to include a neutral option and to include people who decide to understand how the game is played but simply renounce it entirely (some neutrals, some roleplayers, some of the rogues, etc.)., instead opting to do whatever it is that brings them fun.
Which is most definitely how everyone should play. On that, I'd agree with SoADsomething. People who stick to this game being all negative about how terrible it is and what not should most definitely consider leaving and playing another game. Games are meant to be enjoyed. If you're sticking around and you're not having any fun and consider this a chore, you're doing something wrong.

I stepped down during my last term, leading to Centurius becoming GM and Iamthey being confirmed as the interim Grand Chancellor for the remainder of the term.
To be honest, I normally would have been fine but a change in my schedule (OOC: RL) combined with the leaks and their aftermath relatively killed what time I had for the alliance. I didn't expect to put in 50 hours weeks for two weeks straight. I figured the alliance would be best served if I stepped down and let others take the lead after that.
Given what I'm seeing, with this retarded announcement title, I was wrong. Expect a coup.
N.B: Never trust the Dutch.

In a situation like this, political context looms large.
For example, if this is a close ally or a friendly AA you may just give an FYI and have them handle things while you aid up your guy. If the AA in question is antagonistic to you or a repeat offender then you might fill the offending's slots before you even speak to them and work from there, likely with a full slot of reps in mind. This would rarely lead to war unless there is some offending pattern or unless you were going to war anyway and just wanted an excuse
Seems like a solid answer.Ally or friends: I won't mind, just ask their government to remind their members not to do that kind of idiocy.
Neutral or hostile: I'll likely ask for reparations on principle, maybe have a bit of fun threatening them.
Neutral/hostile 2.0: If my friends and I are looking for a war to start against the offending alliance or their friends, we might use the opportunity.

If I was "butthurt", you'd have seen me complain about your alliance or even drop its name somewhere on these forums. I haven't.
I just consider it one of the countless, relatively inactive, smaller AAs dotting the landscape for nostalgia's purposes. I'm happy when they die because that means another more relevant alliance might actually see an influx of members. A change of scenery generally brings about activity. As it stands, I also didn't have any love for your alliance so good riddance it is.

I am going to admit it, when I first read the post I ran to the war decs screen hoping for excitement, then subsequently got sad and posted about candy vans :(
Not all operations are necessarily military ones.
At least, not in their first phase. Next time, I shall be posting pictures of guns so you guys are happy. -
